So I went in with an appointment for permanent eyebrow tinting. I had a previous procedure done a few years back somewhere else and I just wanted them to get tinted nothing else. I had explained to her through messages and in person what I wanted, I realized later her messages were very automated and I am unsure if she understood me in person because of the language gap. I went in with high hopes and they completely botched them up. The first hour she had put numbing cream and left for an hour without saying anything and was just sitting around and eating. They were uneven and much darker than I had requested, she also decided to reshape them and instead of making them even they became very crooked. I was very unhappy and I had come back the next day to express my complaint and they had told me off and said they cannot do anything until 2 weeks later. They were very rude when I expressed my disappointment in the service and were not trying to be helpful whatsoever. She was also laughing at me because of my complaint. Their customer service is horrible, they have all my information to give me back a refund and choose not to reach out and make a compromise. All they care about is money and not their customers. I found the salon to be nice and clean, but my experience was disappointing. I requested a gel French tip on my natural nails and paid $40, plus a $5 tip. The technician who did my nails seemed visibly annoyed throughout the process. I got my nails done on a Thursday morning, but by Friday night, they were already chipping and peeling. Gel nails are supposed to last 2 to 3 weeks, not just 1 to 2 days! The gel was lifting on almost all of my nails. I am very disappointed and will not be returning to this salon. read more

Called Sparkle Nails at 1130p on a Friday morning and was able to get a same-day appt for an adult pedi, and two kids mani-pedis. I was looking for a nail salon that had kid pedi chairs, was clean, and had decent pricing. Although Sparkle Nails didn't have the kids chairs, based on reviews and their price menu, they seemed to check two of the three boxes so we tried it out. The interior was updated, and equipped with PPE barriers like pull down face screens on the pedicure chairs and plexi-glass at all manicure tables. All staff wore masks. We were checked in at our appt time and seated together. The kids mani-pedi included a foot soak, cut, trim, polish, and lotion. For the adult pedi, there were a lot of options from basic to luxury that include paraffin, hot stone, and scrub options. I chose the Deluxe Pedi, which Hannah did a good job of spending just the right amount of time with the scrub and massage. She trimmed, filed, and polished perfectly! I could've used a little more time on my rough spots but was genuinely friendly and pleasant. Great prices, comfortable chairs and interior, and great timing. All three of us were done in an hour! They also have a loyalty program with dollar off rewards - more incentive to return, which I will be doing! read more

I made an appointment for myself and my boyfriend. I used to come here a lot and be very pleased. But the last few times has me wondering if I should come back. My new full set took less time than my boyfriend's pedicure. They were over loaded with walk ins. And nobody touched my boyfriend's feet for 20 minutes. The tech asked if his toes were fine after only one coat. My nails are not filed evenly, and aren't even the right shade. (I wasn't asked a preference) my boyfriend walked out after the appointment and said "that was the worst salon experience he's ever had" and honestly I don't blame him. I had the male nail tech the last couple of times. And his attention to detail is minimal, and makes you feel like you're being rushed out. read more

I went in for an appt for shellac full set, even after asking for shellac multiple times they still gave me dip powder nails, and charged us $55 when everywhere on their site says $45 for dip powder, on top of the upcharge and clear lack of listening skills, they charged $15 for simple heart that would have been $5 anywhere else. On top of the ridiculous upsell even after I clearly said shellac, my cuticles are flooded with black powder and the sides of my nails aren't fully covered. Dip manicure on natural nails went fine. One cuticle was nicked, which created some problems but nothing major. I think it's important to note that they use the same dip powder container for everyone (meaning they do not pour some out to use individually for each client, increasing risk of contamination). Anyway, went to get the dip removed and have a bacterial infection on my thumb nail from it. Also ended up having to wait 15 mins, even though I had called prior to. I just moved here and today is my birthday so I wanted my nails/toes done. I found this spa through Instagram. Called for walk in appointment & once i got there, they attended to me right away. First my toes, the lady did amazing... didn't get her name. Then my nails... the guy was very sweet & got my shape right but when it came to my French tips, they were very uneven & messy... luckily the nail tech Amy saved the day. I was very worried my birthday nails would be ruined.. but she really fixed it for me & was kind about everything, so was the guy even after I expressed my feelings...All & all, great experience...they also gave me 10% off my total, & their machine sung happy birthday to me lol! I took my 4 year old daughter to get a mani and pedi for her birthday. The polish wasn't even applied all the way to her cuticle and as for me I left with thick acrylic nails that made my thumbs look stubby as well as 3 of my cuticles were bleeding and in pain for 3 days. The worse part was the nail tech was 100% aware. Lastly, the old set was with red gel and you could see some of the residue on my nails as the tech did not completely remove the old color. I only tried this place just to take my daughter for a fun birthday experience but would never come back here again. I'm sure they're not all that bad but this was my experience. read more

I work close and this place is on the way home. I have yet to find a decent nail salon around Everett or Marysville. What is the deal?! At any rate, I have been here for pedicures in the past but wanted my nails done this time. Pedicures were always fine but I don't understand why the switch techs at least 3 times during the process, It's weird. I made an appointment for 3 pm, walked in and it was busy but I didn't think too much of it. I get seated at a station, asked what I wanted to get, Shellac mani, pretty standard and easy. They handed me the color selection and that is as far as we got. I had to walk out after 30 mins of 0 acknowledgement. I could tell that this is the way that it was going to be since they seemed to have too many clients, not enough staff and sure enough not enough customer service to even say anything to me. There was another client that came in for a fill at the same time and she was still sitting there untouched when I walked out. I guess she had more patience then I did. I would have stayed but honestly, this is the 3rd time that I have had crappy service from this place. I won't be back and I guess the journey for a decent nail place continues. read more

Recently remodeled, great prices.. I got a $30 paraffin pedicure, 30minute treatment and added on 20minutes of massage $5/5minutes. The massage was so so, lacked pressure and technique and it wasn't until towards the end of the 20 minutes that the nail tech next to mine told her she could flip up the foot rest to make massaging the soles of my feet easier which is where I had asked most of the work to be done. Will be going back, will be trying a different technician as the foot massage part is an important component to me but if your looking for a clean polish job and good prices Hannah was my technician. read more

I'd give this salon 0 stars if I could. Went in for pedi and full set. It was an hour and a half before someone finally started working on me. In that hour and a half of waiting, one of the women working got into it with the front desk guy who seated us. They kept looking over at us who were waiting during what seemed to be a very heated argument. It was very clear that she felt he shouldn't have seated us, which made us feel very awkward and uncomfortable. My pedi was mediocre and rushed. My feet don't look as they should after a pedicure. Waste of money. My full set was rushed. Close to what I wanted, which is great, but the quality is not up to par. For what I paid, I deserved better. Don't go to this salon expecting to feel comfortable and welcome. They just want your money. I will not be going back. read more

Today I wasn't happy with my Dip French Manicure with the nail tech named Nancy. She nicked my skin and was bleeding the entire time she was doing the service. She would twisted and hold my fingers so tight. When she was done, it was the ugliest French manicure I have ever had. The white tips are sideways and instead of getting the pinkish color on the other half base it was white and you can see the small looking like bubbles. I paid $60 and that's including cutting the cuticle. Nancy attitude was bad towards me. I felt so bad with the outcome. I will normally tip 25%-50% every time but I did not tip for the first time ever. I did not like her service and personality. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!! My aunt went to Sparkle nails to get her eyebrows waxed and her nails done with my mom who got her nails done. When my aunt and mom were getting their nails done, the ladies were being very harsh and made their nails bleed multiple times. They did a decent job on the nails, however the eyebrow wax was awful. When she went back in the room, the lady's hands were shaking and she didn't really seem to know what she was doing. My aunt told her she has sensitive skin and the woman acknowledged it. Then she send a clear gel and put it on for about two minutes. After that she began the waxing process. After the first strip, she told the woman the wax was hot and that it hurt and the lady apologized and then did it again and said that "that's just how it's supposed to feel". My aunt was completely disappointed and upset. She was in pain for hours after. THEN about 24 hours later, her eyebrows were puffy and red and her eye started getting gory on the outside which we assume is pus. Now I am attaching photos of the aftermath . At this point her eyes are practically sealed shut. She was sent to Harborview medical center in Seattle yesterday, due to her doctor being unable to treat her, due to her burns being so severe. There will be long term scarring. Her temperature has been over 100 degrees since the event (August 5th). She is going to have to go to an eye doctor and skin doctor to make sure that this does not cause long term eye problems and to make sure her skin heals properly and reduce the infection she currently has. Sparkle nails will NOT take responsibility of this!!!!! I hope that the people of Marysville see this review and consider it before coming to this awful salon. read more

I never do these but my experience yesterday was not okay. The girls were very friendly and nice but I asked for dip nails and they tried to get me to leave with these nails that look like acrylics before polish.. I hate saying anything but I was in verge of tears because they were so bad. Thankfully the other lady who was there fixed them but they were still not what I wanted but I was already in there for 3 hours I didn't want to wait any longer. Got a pedicure here with my girlfriend and 2 days later I'm left with not 1 but 2 ingrown toe nails on the same foot. I did research to see if it could have been from the pedicure, sure enough improper clipping is a cause of ingrown nails. Will be calling to try to get refund.
