Jammeal is by far the best trainer I have worked with, and there is absolutely no one else I would trust more with my physical health. I have been struggling with a lower back injury for over 5 years and have seen doctors, physical therapists and trainers of all types, including yoga, stretching, and other specialists. My husband and I partner-trained with Jammeal last summer. I'm about 5 weeks in to my training with Jammeal Lopez of JLX Fitness. My goal is to improve how I look and feel, and so far I'm pleased with the results! Jammeal is not just a trainer - I call him my fitness and nutritional consultant! I chose the 3 days/week package, which includes 3 intense 45 minute sessions tailored to your individual goals and progress. Jammeal places a lot of emphasis on proper form and technique, and he is "always pushing" you work harder without being all drill-sergeant about it. I also like that the training sessions are at a private studio in Pasadena used exclusively by trainers - there's plenty of equipment and it never really gets crowded. I met Jammeal the beginning of 2015 when I was looking to take my fitness to the next level. I had grown complacent with the run of the meal gym regiment training programs. Jammeal knows his trade and delivers results. I had never tried personal training before I met him, but he came highly recommended as someone who was interested in your goals, paid attention to what your body is telling him (e.g. where do you hurt, where do you need to spend more time stretching, working on form, etc.), and he has given me some of the most intense workouts I have ever done (all in a short but focused span of time). Prior to personal training, I had been working out regularly. I was lax with my diet, but I do enjoy eating a wide variety of food and I thought I was in OK shape. My first serious workout with Jammeal was eye opening, in a good way. When you do your workouts, get ready for an intense and focused 45-60 minute period, sometimes less depending on what schedule he puts you on. Of course the workout schedule is fully customized to your body type, work out maturity, and capability. I started working with my trainer Jammeal back in September. I have to say I was skeptical, seeing as how my sister herself is a trainer and her husband is a physical therapist. I was referred to Jammeal by a friend and we have been working together consistently for 3 months. When I first met Jammeal I was in pain. I had a horrible case of plantar fasciitis as well as debilitating hip pain. It was painful for me to walk when we started.
