Bought a new RX350 just before Christmas and had a great experience. My product specialist, Tyler Smith, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, plus tracked down a variety of color combinations to make sure I got one I would be happy with. They were able to buy out my lease from another car company (which was almost up) with very little hassle, and gave me a great deal, reducing my lease payments from what I am currently paying. I recently leased a car from JM Lexus in Margate and it was the most pleasant shopping experience for a car that I have ever had. I have bought and leased over 12 cars in my adult life and the sales staff and personnel at JM Lexus are top drawer. My husband and I saw a pre-owned truck advertised at JM Superstore and we went a checked it out. Our salesperson Angela had us driving this vehicle in minutes! Angela made us feel very comfortable and the whole JM Staff was honest, friendly and extremely helpful. Khaled Dandashi was a excellent help in buying my Lexus CT. He was very knowledgeable about the car and its features, took us on a test drive and gave us all our options shortly after. We got a good price thanks to Hieu Vo, who was very nice and helped us get what we wanted in a timely manner. We spent the day there and they gave us the chance to have free breakfast and lunch in the lobby as well as drinks while we were waiting for paperwork, insurance and ect. They had a lot to choose from. We were very satisfied with our purchase. I don't know why people are complaining about the long process, every time no matter where you buy a car it does take a while. Numbers needs to be worked out as well as insurance, title, registration, finance, trade in. The place is also very beautiful and clean. First, I looked on their website and they seem to be pretty legit and trustworthy. They had a car posted for $22,991 on their website and multiple other website for advertisement. So I contacted them to negotiate based on the price posted. And they automatically raised the price to $1000 extra on me and say that they can't honor the price posted, while the website still shows the original price. I think this was pure dishonesty, and I'm not comfortable doing business with them. read more

I would give this place no stars if that was an option. Michael Robbins from internet sales gave me a price quote for the 2017 RX 350 with navigation and put a "hold" on the car on Saturday knowing that I would come in on Sunday to make the purchase. I'm from PBG so I took the tri-rail and he picked me up from the station. Once I'm at his desk, he now said the car is not on the lot because it's on a golf tournament, and the car actually has thousands of miles on it not 13 like stated in the price quote. He said he "goofed". That's completely deceitful. He then refused to sell me another exact same car on the lot for the same price. He now quotes me $625 more. Needless to say, I'm very upset. He said he can drive me home if I'm not happy about this. To say that I wasn't happy was an understatement. Now he's trying to get rid of me? I asked to see the manager and he refused to let me see him. After much talking he let me see the team leader Robert Seeley. The two of them were talking for 45 minutes before coming back to talk to me. They both refused to lower the price of the car with navigation and the one without the navigation. I would think if Michael really "goofed" then they would at least try to make it right. But the fact they refused to do so tells me they lied to me intentionally to get me to come in. After much going back and forth, although extremely upset over this situation I decided to buy the one with navigation for $625 more than what Michael quoted me. But then I saw scratches on the back bumper. Michael told me I can buy the car and drive home with it then come back on Wednesday for them to replace the bumper. I came here to buy a new car not a damaged car or a refurbished car. I explained to him if I do that I would need the price of this damaged car to be lowered. He refused to lower to price and said let's cancel this whole thing if I don't want the car. Way to make me feel like a valued customer! At this point, I'm really done with any car they have on the lot and Michael. I've already wasted my whole day and it's 9pm! Dealership closed at 6pm. I asked him to drive me home like he said he would earlier. He said he won't and will only drive me to the train station. So I was dropped off at a McDonald's near the train station since I haven't had anything to eat while wasted my whole day with Michael. This is the worst car buying experience in my life. The business practice was absolutely deceitful. I feel disrespected throughout this process and not valued as a customer. Instead of trying to sell me a car, Michael was trying to get me to leave. There are other Lexus dealerships in the state and other luxury car companies out there. I think JM Lexus needs to re-evaluate how you treat your customers. I'm extremely dissatisfied and furious. This was a nightmare! read more

My car was recalled so I decided I would buy a new one. Big mistake trying to deal with this dealer. They have professional telemarketers they call "business development" people, and they are completely useless. Trying to get a straight answer from them is extremely difficult and the representative I was dealing with was very very rude. I found a different dealer that I'm working with instead, and I suggest that if you're in the market for a Lexus that you go elsewhere. There are lots of dealers in town, inventory is readily available elsewhere, and buying a car shouldn't be this aggravating. read more

I was very excited to buy my new car and that experience was great. The car had a small scratch(very small) so they agreed to fix it quickly. I scheduled an appointment a few days after my purchase and the appointment was at 8:30. I did not leave until 10:00AM so it took an hour and a half just to drop the car off. I was told it would take about 2 days and when I called on Day 3 they said it would be 8 total days. For a small scratch, that is unacceptable to go 8 days and on top of that they gave me a little Toyota Corolla to drive. I do not plan on using the service there ever again sadly enough and I just got the car. Terrible experience. read more

April 2014, my husband and I went there just to check thing out. We end up trade in our beautiful S550 to LS 460 Sport. From the moment we walked in till we walk out. Staff there are very progressional but yet friendly. I don't feel like they sale me a car, but they make me feel like they help me find the car that fit our need. I brought in my car for a front bumper repair which was estimated by the insurance adjuster to take 3 business days to repair but now it is 3 weeks and it is still not repaired. I call the service representation Robert Toppas to inquire on the repair and he does answer my phone calls. I am very disappointed with JM Lexus body shop. On Monday February 5th 2018. I was considering a RX30L and left the sales floor and went up to the 2nd floor in the customer's lounge to gather my thoughts. While there, I got a sandwich and a diet soda. While I was sitting and eating and thinking about my new car, I was approached by an employee accompanied by a guard. The guard was wearing a uniform with a light blue shirt with a big badge and dark blue paints. He had a portable radio with a long antenna and looked very serious. The employee proceeded to interrogate me as to why I was sitting and eating their food. I explained that I was considering buying a new vehicle. He said that this area is reserved for customers who are taking delivery on new vehicles or for customers who are waiting for service. I asked where the notice was about customers who wanted refreshments. The employee had no answer. I told the guard that if I knew the policy, I would not have partaken of their food and would know I was not allowed in this area. I was escorted from this area with the employee and the guard in front of all the customers and down to their supervisor. The supervisor's title is "Supervisor for all Fixed Operations" his office is on the 1st floor on the left side of the service area. I did not have a good experience with this supervisor and when he offered his hand in a handshake after this interrogation that went nowhere, I refused to shake his hand. I am 79 years old. This is the 1st time in my life that I have every refused a handshake. I will never return to JM Lexus for my service on my 2011 Lexus ES350 let alone purchase a car. I have never felt more embarrassed in my life. After calling Lexus Factory Service at 1-800-255-3987, their bottom line was sorry, they cannot do anything about this situation. No more Lexus cars for me. read more

We brought our Lexus in for a car wash today. The gentleman that quickly greeted us let us know the car wash was being dismantled for replacement and that they were only washing service cars at this time. Understandable. Additionally he advised that they would provide me a coupon to use at a local car wash which was just fine with me. I went into the service boutique to purchase a ball cap, when I returned and asked for the car wash coupon they advised me that they only provide courtesy car washes for Lexus that were purchased at JM. We have 3 Lexus in our family and they get serviced between Lexus dealers in the Northeast, Texas, and Florida when we are here for the Winter. Never had a problem getting a carwash at our normal dealers. Don't think we will be too interested in replacing any of our cars here. We do need servicing before we head back North but probably not from here. The local Toyota has always treated us well with lor Lexus as well. On the way out of the parking lot we saw the carwash in full operation - so I guess the statement that it was being dismantled was a lie as well. read more

My experience with JM Lexus has been awful. Avoid purchasing a car or having maintenance performed on your vehicle at this dealership. By far the worst dealer I ever experienced. I can see why their slogan is based on being the largest volume dealer. They clearly are not geared toward being a quality or customer service oriented dealership. I purchased a 2 year-old certified Lexus. After I had it a few weeks, and the JM Lexus wax job wore off I noticed that there were issues with the paint which were covered up by JM Lexus. After several letters and calls, JM Lexus has been unresponsive and clearly not geared toward resolving the issue. In addition, the few times I have used the service department have also been disappointing. JM Lexus dented my glove box replacing the gps screen. It was like pulling teeth getting the dealership to fix the damage they caused. Last week I went to JM Lexus as my tire was loosing air. JM Lexus said they inspected the tire and there was no issue with the tire. Today, I went to a tire shop as the tire was still loosing air and they quickly located a nail in the tire. Just awful service. Not sure how Toyota allows this dealership to continue to sell or service Lexus vehicles. Very disappointed. read more

I am extremely disappointed in JM Lexus. I have owned 3 new Lexus vehicles since 2004 and the last two were purchased at JM. I have had all my vehicle service and repairs completed by JM ( if the cars were in the state of Florida ) since January of 2005. Several years ago, the Lexus division of Toyota sent out a notification for a WARRANTY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM, which related to the dashboard being cracked or sticky/ melting due to hot and humid weather conditions. I had this issue for both my GX470 and RX330. I was told by service representatives at JM , that the dashboards were on backlog and I would be called when the replacements came in. In April 2015, I needed to replace the evaporator core on my A/C unit on my GX. To make this repair, the dashboard had to be removed. So even though " it was not my turn ", the service rep Jean B. , was able to expedite the acquisition of a new replacement dashboard which was placed in my GX at the same time as the A/C repair. I was told my RX330 dashboard would be replaced at a later date as the dashboards became available. I was told the same story on October 20, 2015, January 12, 2016, December 13, 2016, and April 7,2017. In October of 2017, when I brought in my RX for service, I was told that my vehicle was not on "the list " but they would follow up. Today, I was told that because my vehicle was not on the list , and that the Enhancement Warranty could not be honored. I called the Lexus Division of Toyota today to discuss the issue. They confirmed that the Warranty would not be honored because the dealer ( in this case JM Lexus ) had not done the proper paperwork. So now I am stuck with a vehicle that really looks like crap and has a greatly diminished value. This is clearly the fault of JM but they are not willing to do the right thing and correct their error. I have a second issue regarding the current status of the JM service department which I will post in a second review. read more

Horrible service. Last time I was there, they took over 5 hours for what I was told when I arrived would take no longer than 90 minutes. They also did not have a loner car to give me, so I was forced to wait. Upon finishing, they half-heartedly offered to make it up to me the next time I came in with some sort of discount. Well fast forward to this week. I called to schedule my next service, and to try to redeem my discount on a couple new tires. The service team does not return the messages I left with the answering staff. And it takes 2 days and several phones calls to find out that they have NO record of my previous experience, and the only "discount" they are willing to offer is on the wheel alignment after they charge me well over market price on the tires. I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years (and multiple cars), even driving past closer Lexus dealers in order to use them. Well apparently loyalty means nothing to them. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

I bought a new RX-350 Lexus. Suddenly, the Engine Light was on. I took it to JM Lexus in Margate, FL. First week, advisor said the Sensor was broken and he had to order the part. Second week, he called me and said rat chewed my wire. I asked him how much it costs to replace a brand new harness wire because of a new car. He told me that more than $2000. Because it was not covered under warrantee, he told me that he had to call my insurance. My deduction is $1000 and insurance will cover the rest. My insurance came and estimated around $1000 to repair 2 broken wires. He took my insurance estimation and called me to say that it will cost me around $1000 to repair and $5000 for replace a new harness wire. I told him that it does not make any sense for fixing 2 broken wires about $1000. It does not make any sense it costs $1000 for fixing 2 wires. Insurance and Dealer cannot have the same estimation. Why suddenly it jumped from $2000 to $5000 to replace a brand new harness within a week. read more

I have a cracked recalled dashboard in my Lexus RX 350. Lexus is supposed to replace it. I am sure it is not J.M. Lexus' fault, but as the number one volume Lexus dealer in the country, I would think that they could push Toyota to get replacement dashboards in. Yes they will pay for a new dashboard, but I have been on the list for 3 years. I will sell this car before the dashboard will ever be replaced, however, I won't be able to get a fair market price for the car because of this problem. Lexus tells me that the warranty is transferrable, but nobody would buy a car with an issue like this unless I practically give it away. I don't even drive it when I have to take customers out. I either use my wife's car or rent a car. It looks that bad! Even though I think my RX 350 is probably the best car I have ever owned, I will not buy another Lexus just on principle. I will buy an Acura or an Infinity. I have 5 other friends with this same problem and they feel the same way. After three years on the waiting list, they are still working on page 1 and I am on page 20. Outrageous! I think Toyota is milking this thing and if there I find a class action lawsuit to join I will do so. They agreed to replace these dashboards in order to avoid a class action, but I will look for one to join. Very disappointed in Lexus. Great car but a lousy situation. read more

Horrible service experience!! Scheduled an appointment there today to have my oil changed and headlight fixed. Was told that it was 1 1/2 job, which seemed reasonable. Actually took them 3 1/2 hours! When I asked what took so long, I was told that it was the car wash at the end!!! I have never heard of a car wash taking 2 hours???? Total lack of communcation amongst the employees - one told me the car was finished while another told me it wasn't. Then they couldn't find my car. While waiting upstairs at the "country club" which they so highly tout, I was rudely told that I could have one small slice of danish and that was it. Wasn't much to compensate for waiting 2 hours to have my car washed? They must be having finanical problems because they are certainly watching the pennies now when it comes to free sandwiches and food they give out. Go somewhere else where you will likely be treated a heck of a lot better! read more

Good afternoon I'm writing this letter to inform you of my horrible experience and utter disappointment with JM Lexus and their service department. I want to start off by saying that I dropped off my car to JM Lexus two weeks and four days ago my car is now still in the shop and I brought it in for radio and navigation system repair for parts that were ordered two weeks prior. I've been called four times letting me know that my car was ready when it was not. I have drove 35min to margate to pick up my vehicle and had to turn around and bring it back because no one had the sense to check the vehicle to make sure it was repaired before calling me to come pick it up. My car was supposed to be delivered to me after JM Lexus' first mistake and after waiting two hours and making 20 phone calls with no answer I was informed that the driver was at home and in fact not coming to drop off my car. I can't believe that I spent so much money on a vehicle from Americas "top Lexus dealership" and my service could be this terrible. Lexus sold me a car with bad interior and now expects me to pay $3,000 to fix it and gives me horrible service when I bring it in. I have been without my car for over two weeks now and no one seems to have a care in the world. I will be forwarding this email to the highest authority as well as a few news stations in regards to the defective interior Lexus put in my car knowing that it would melt and cause me to be unable to see out of my front windshield from the glare and because JM Lexus is simply being neglectful and lazy. I am concerned about even driving my vehicle now with all the uncertainty about a radio how can I guarantee that my pistons were changes correctly or even that my breaks were properly changed! I've gotten a lot of work done at JM and I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism that is offered there when Lexus owners pay so much for vehicles and service. I can assure you I will never purchase another vehicle from Lexus and I will never recommend anyone in doing so either simply because of the way business is conducted there. You should be very disappointed in yourself as a corporation for such foul service and for selling defective merchandise and expecting the customer to pay for it's repair. read more

I purchased a 2014 Lexus GS 350 F Sport from JM Lexus in April 2014. As far as car buying goes, I found this to be one of the best experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in to the dealership I was treated with respect and I found my salesman to be very friendly and extremely knowledgable about every aspect of the car. The finance manager courteous, friendly and also extremely knowledgable about all the various options to either purchase or lease etc...the wonderful experience didn't end there, upon completion of the paperwork, I then spent approx. an hour with my "delivery specialist" who took me through every aspect of all the technology in the car and was very patient and friendly. Since I have owned the car, I have had it serviced twice for oil changes etc...and I have found the service department to also be extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Each time I have brought the car in, I am in and out of there with a loaner car within 25 minutes or less...bottom line, JM Lexus has been terrific and I would highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing a Lexus go and check out the great people at JM! read more

do not and i mean do not shop at this dealer. my husband bought me a new car and initially everything was fine he worked unbelievable deal and traded in our old honda. next thing you know a week later they call saying that the bank did not approve him and they need another $4000 down or to return the car... so why they would let him drive off the lot with a car ( and not just any car but a brand new lexus)without approval is still unknown to me. even tho we had the money to put down im so pissed were gonna take our business else were. romulas is the worst sales guy ever... read more
