Where do I start with this review. I met Max a year ago after buying a car from another company. He bought my trade in from said company. I wanted to see the car before he put it up for sale. After spending an hour talking to him I knew he was an honest hard working guy. He told me he had my car all ready resold. Fast forward to last week. I was looking for a second car to do some deliveries in. I saw a Honda Accord for sale by a private party. I ultimately didn't buy it but Max did. As my research continued a few days later I see this exact car in his lot and knew I had to buy it. Great story!

The Best Car-Buying Experience We've Ever Had!…read more We recently purchased a vehicle from Lou Bachrodt Pompano Beach Chevrolet and I can honestly say this was the greatest car-buying experience we've ever had. Our sales consultant, Rory, was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, he actually listened to what we were looking for.. Bill in the finance department was also an incredible asset to the dealership. He thoroughly explained every step of the financing process, answered all of our questions, and worked hard to find us the best available rate. Everyone we encountered at the dealership was friendly and welcoming. The quality of their vehicles is excellent, and they have a great variety of quality used cars on the lot. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, they will more than likely be able to source the right vehicle for you in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with the vehicle we purchased. Even though it's a used vehicle, it looks and feels like a brand-new vehicle! I highly recommend Lou Bachrodt Automotive Group, and I especially recommend Rory. If you're in the market for a vehicle, ask for Rory when you walk through the door -- you will not be disappointed! Thank you to Hugh's team and especially Rory and Bill, for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive and seemless experience!

The moment the sale was completed, accountability disappeared…read more I spent approximately five and a half hours at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet Pompano Beach purchasing a used 2026 Volkswagen Atlas. The experience during the sale was initially pleasant, which makes everything that followed even more disappointing. Before leaving the dealership, I specifically pointed out a white substance or heavy residue embedded around the second-row climate-control panel. My salesperson, Jayden Francis, returned the vehicle to detailing for another attempt to clean it. The dealership's detailers could not remove it. I was then told that I might try using an acid or similar product myself. That suggestion alone was astonishing. I had just purchased a 2026 vehicle and was being encouraged to experiment with a harsh chemical because the dealership's own employees could not restore the interior panel. When I got home and properly examined the vehicle, I discovered that the condition was not merely cosmetic. The climate-control buttons were stuck or partially depressed and caused the system to increase and decrease settings without user input. Both rear USB-C ports were completely nonfunctional. The 115-volt outlet was inaccessible because its panel would not properly open. I notified the dealership immediately. My detailed email explained that the condition existed before delivery, was raised before I left, and had already been the subject of an unsuccessful detailing attempt. Rather than receiving a telephone call or substantive written response from an authorized manager, I was told that this was a service-related issue. That is an evasion, not a resolution. Of course a technician may need to diagnose the components. The actual dispute, however, concerns why the dealership delivered a vehicle with a condition it knew existed, who will authorize and pay for the complete correction, whether the contaminated trim will be replaced, and what transportation will be provided while the vehicle is unavailable. Those are sales and management decisions. The closing documents created an additional nightmare. The finance manager offered to place my documents on a USB drive rather than print them. I accepted. The drive displayed 15 filenames, but numerous files were unusable or empty. The dealership later emailed two PDF packets, but those packets included only a limited selection of the documents and did not reproduce most of the USB directory. Among the documents I did not receive in usable form were the final Buyers Guide, Buyer's Order, We Owe form, separately identified arbitration addendum, privacy notice, insurance affidavit, payoff authorization, and other transaction records. The documents that were supplied then raised even more questions. My installment contract requires 77 monthly payments, but the separate $1,200 GAP document says the finance and GAP terms are 72 months. The available papers also show different vehicle and cash-price figures that I cannot completely reconcile without the missing Buyer's Order. There were other issues too. The vehicle had pre-existing bumper scratches. A $250 repaint arrangement was discussed before I left, although I believe the dealership should have covered the entire repair. The vehicle came without floor mats, without a physical owner's manual, and with only one key. I am not claiming that every employee intentionally caused these problems. I am describing the result: a recently purchased vehicle with immediately discovered functional defects, incomplete and unusable transaction records, inconsistent contractual terms, and management personnel who have not provided a complete response. Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet was very efficient when it wanted my signature. It has been remarkably inefficient when asked to stand behind the vehicle and explain the paperwork. I strongly recommend that prospective buyers independently inspect every feature before signing, demand printed copies of every document, compare the term of every optional product against the financing term, and refuse to leave until every promise is written into the Buyer's Order or We Owe form. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

Throughout our visit, employees remained at their desks and seemed completely uninterested in helping or answering any questions. It felt as though we were invisible. Overall, it was a very poor customer service experience and not what I would expect from a dealership.
