Their selection of items is amazing. The staff goes above and beyond to help, and their kindness shines through in everything they do. They're always willing to offer a prayer for me and my loved ones, which means so much. It's more than a store--it's a blessing. Also they sometimes provide holy gifts (blessed oil, water, salt, etc.) with purchase. I've been coming here for many years.

First time at this Catholic gift shop and what a blessing! They have a vast selection of merchandise such as rosaries, books, medals, baby items, Bibles, saints, statues and so much more. Bought a beautiful devotional book as a bridal shower gift. As a bonus, was surprised to receive a free book of St Norbert, founder of the Order of the Premontre Apostle of Peace and a Virgin Mary blessed oil. They also have free holy water. Thank you Jesus! this lady working there was so annoying. me and my brother were there today 2/3/26 and the moment that we walked in, she just kept following us. I couldn't even look peacefully. That's how annoyed I was. I just wanted to relax in there and look at the stuff. The fact that she kept hovering me every time I was on my phone it was to the point where I was gonna tell her something. and the fact that towards the end, she told me that I cannot take pictures, but it does not say anywhere that I cannot take pictures. I was not taking pictures of anything. I was just texting my other siblings. She saw me on my phone when I'm texting people and she didn't say anything until towards the end, she's so pathetic and annoying. She doesn't let people see comfortably at all. coming from the Catholic store I expected more respect towards people and the fact that she's working there like that fuck no I'm very upset. read more

I always go to JMJ's Catholic bookstore to buy the religious items I need. If they don't have what I need, they make an effort to get it for me. They have beautiful and unique items. I always learn something new when Cynthia and Gary, the owners, are around (I.e.Epiphany chalking of the doors). They also give away free items (I.e. holy water, etc.) depending on the church feast to aid their customers' spiritual life. They gave me a free bottle of Epiphany holy water when I was there recently. I also like the fact that they stop to pray (ie. The Angelus, etc.) during certain times of the day. History

Established in 2012.

We started selling candles in 2012. We added prayer cards statues and rosaries with the candles. We began selling other Catholic items online as well. We ran across a priest who was encouraging people to open a Catholic store. He reminded us that is a ministry. We decided to open our store ( brick and mortar) November 2017. Pray for us!

We do our best to run the Holy Family's (JMJ's ) Store. We are so glad to finally offer a close Catholic Store to Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Orange, Tustin, Diamond Bar, Corona and Placentia who have had to drive so far for so long.

Entered with an old credit voucher worth $50 from previous book sales. I figured that I would get a…read morefew books from a local bookstore rather than online because I already had the credit here. Firstly, I searched their online inventory website for the desired books. Website reported books in stock but were not on selves. The staff couldn't locate them either and said they would update the inventory. So the inventory site is unreliable. Secondly, upon ringing me up for $20, I produced the voucher thinking it would cover the entire cost. Unfortunately, it is only good for half the price of your purchase. When I expressed my confusion about this policy. The tall crotchety old man raised his voice and loudly repeated: "Good for HALF the purchase!" Sir there is no only else inside the store. It's not loud in there. I was your only customer all afternoon. There was no need to raise your voice at me. How embarrassing to get to the ripe old age of grey and still be throwing tantrums at paying customers no less! I should have left the store without purchasing anything but I was just so stunned! I understand that I failed to thoroughly read the small text at the bottom of the voucher that explains their policy. The old man could have simply referred to the text on the voucher instead of displaying such disrespectful behavior. Take your business elsewhere because your patronage is obviously not valued here.

The Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library Book Corner is located on the west side of the Yorba…read moreLinda Public Library, right under the big stair case. There are two ways to get to this small book shop, one is to walk past the main entrance of the library and go down the stair case, or you can park on the west side of the library and enter under the large stair case. The store is tiny, but you can find some steals and bargains here. Make sure you come with plenty of time, patience and cash as they have quiet a bit to look through. About half of the items that are sold are old library items and the other half have been donated by people no longer wanting them. Books usually sell for $1, some are marked a little higher depending on how valuable they really are. The purpose of the Book Corner is to raise funds for more library programming. From what I can recall, the Friends of the Yorba Linda Public Library do give quiet a bit of money back to the library. The book corner has a couple of pretty large book sales every couple of months. These book sales get packed, but can secure you some awesome scores. They sell everything from books on CD, video games, records and books for all ages and subjects! Check them out and support your local library!

We almost resigned ourselves to standing in the back, but we were quickly and kindly ushered to a couch. Everyone who went up to the mic was so, so good. All genres were represented: poetry, fiction, nonfiction, children's, comics. Two people even gave rousing music performances. Many people read in Spanish, and every single person read with humor, heart, and honesty. There were a lot of laughs and a lot of tears. The store truly is a safe space. They're polite, but some charges are silly and need to be disclosed first before processing. When I asked about it, there was zero explanation because really everyone knows that's nonsense and how can anyone explain silliness. At the very least, they need to disclose the extra made-up charges and fees that aren't assumed by the customer. That's a real good way to break trust. I will never do business there again. I don't like charges that take advantage of people no matter how big or small. It's too bad.

Since they opened, I've been going to Gary and Cynthia's store at least once a month. They have a huge inventory of beautiful and unique things, like statues, rosaries, religious jewelry, cds, DVD's, Holy cards, veils, candles, medals, to name a few. They have a variety of books that are great! The moment you come in, you are greeted joyfully by Cynthia or Gary, and even their daughter, Francesca, who helps out. They are very helpful especially when you are looking for a gift. In fact, I've been buying this series of animated dvds called Brother Francis--which was suggested by Cynthia--for my 4-yr-old granddaughter who can't get enough of it! I also like that they have free Holy water and blessed salt always available for anyone who wants it. They have also been having guest speakers such as Kathleen Beckman from whose talk I learned a lot! I also got to meet Renee Bondi who autographed my books and cds several months ago. I love this store!! The only problem is that I leave a lot of my money there!! Seriously, JMJ's is the best. They have a great selection of solid, faithful Catholic books, cds , and dvds, as well as Holy cards, statues, medals, rosaries, gift items, children's items, etc. They even have materials in Spanish. My girls beg me to take them to "The Catholic Store" every week. They love it too, and they're teenagers. Our favorite cute items are the "Tiny Saints" keychain charms and the little saints statues from the company Little Drops of Water. Cynthia and Gary are very friendly, faithful, and knowledgeable about the faith and about available items. This store is awesome! It has everything you need and if you can't find something they will order it for you! I wanted a St. Leo medal and went in asking if they had it in store. Unfortunately, they did not, but they were able to order it at a very reasonable price and it arrive a week and a half later! I'm so happy with my purchase! JMJ's Catholic Books and Gift Store is a jewel for solid Catholic books and gifts for every occasion. This is a rare find these days. The owners and staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The owners, when they are in the store, make you feel as if you are entering their home filled with treasures. The store is packed with useful Catholic items. It's a joy to be there.
