They're polite, but some charges are silly and need to be disclosed first before processing. I emailed a 3 page black and white document to print, then said I have to also pay a "computer fee" along with the high cost to print each page. When I asked about it, there was zero explanation because really everyone knows that's nonsense and how can anyone explain silliness. At the very least, they need to disclose the extra made-up charges and fees that aren't assumed by the customer. That's a real good way to break trust. I will never do business there again. I don't like charges that take advantage of people no matter how big or small. It's too bad. read more

I visit this PostalAnnex+ once every month or two. I'm usually here to drop off a few pounds of paper to be securely shredded. I have a paper shredder at home but for a mere one dollar per pound I'd rather have them take care of it. I believe the rate drops to $0.80 per pound over 20 pounds which I surpassed once. Before I bought a multi page scanner, I would periodically have them scan multi page documents for me and they would be saved in a single PDF file on a USB stick. They also have shipping supplies and can ship items. I usually see the same nice people working there and they always take care of things quickly. read more

Been here twice and both times customer service was very much lacking and prices were high. Decided not to get a couple of things I was set to purchase due to price and found them almost 90% less at target and amazon - wow! On top of the high prices, both times here I felt as though I was bothering them. No greetings when we came in the door and very unfriendly service when making our purchases. To me customer service can either greatly add to or greatly detract from my shopping experience. Hope this place can take stock and improve on how customers are welcomed and appreciated. read more

It was Sunday, Nov. 30. I wanted to get a birthday gift off so it would arrive in Indiana by December 4. The clerk quoted $30 for priority but FedEx for $32 would get there faster. So I paid $32 for FedEx and it still hasn't arrived a week later. Tracking shows it going to Kansas and other places. Meanwhile, I sent three more medium USPS flat rate boxes to Indiana, Click 'n Ship that arrived in 3 days. $19.20 each. The FedEx box weighed less than 2#. Postal Annex, you ripped me off. I was running errands and had a package that had to be returned via UPS and one via DHL. I found two different places I would have to go to to accomplish this, and when I went to CVS, I saw this place with UPS and DHL signs in the windows. Sweet! I returned to my car, grabbed the package, and went inside. There was a small line of folks being helped, and he asked if these were just returns. People were nice but their passport photos policy is weird. They charge for the extra digital copy, which is expected, but they charge the computer fee for sending the digital picture. This lack of transparency/knowledge in pricing is a little bit annoying. read more

I messaged several businesses around the area (thank you yelp quick send or whatever that service is called) and PostalAnnex+ was the only business that was able to give me clear prices straight from the list of things I needed printed. They are very accommodating, professional, quick on replies, fairly priced, and competent. Came here on Sunday 10-15-23 because I had called around to find a place for live scan fingerprints. Most business are not open for live scan on Sundays (which I had looked online two location that advertised they were open Sunday for fingerprints and they were not .) so after seeing online postal annex in yorba Linda was open I called and to my surprise they did do livescan that day. I quickly rushed down and met Leah . She was so sweet and nice . Made the process so easy. Along with other services this store offer's, shipping, notary, fingerprints and making keys! They were super helpful with both services. in addition they scanned the notarized documents and emailed them to me. I am from out of town. I wanted to open a post office box at a Postal Annex in my city. There is a USPS form you have to fill out and get notarized. I asked them if they could help me fill out the form and notarize it and that I would pay them for their time. The person at the register kept going over to the manager or someone that was in charge. He stood about 20 feet from me and kept giving the person helping me instructions without talking to me directly. Irritating but not the end of the world. But they told me they wouldn't even help me fill out the form even if I paid them. Utter unprofessionalism. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. After all isn't this a business oriented towards helping other businesses? Unfortunately they didn't help me at all. read more

I went to this place to take my passport photo and the lady said they could do it all for me. I gave her my travel dates and asked her if I should expedite. She said no the great thing about going through us is you will have your passport within 3 to 4 weeks. Fast forward 5 weeks no passport and now I'm having to pay an additional fee to get it on time. I called and spoke to the office manager who advised me that they cashed the payment so I should see it any day. Last was a lie too. Wasn't until I paid the extra money and within 2 days I finally got confirmation that passport was on its way. If you are in a time crunch don't go here. I gave it a 2 star because the process was actually pretty easy but mine was only a renewal and my wife who needed a brand new one went through the post office and got hers in 3 weeks. In Placentia, the USPS location is basically down the street. But parking is horrendous, there's only really one entrance and exit, and people just stop at the entrance because they're waiting for a parking spot right at the entrance. I wouldn't be surprised if accidents have occurred in that exact spot for that particular stupid reason. Anyways, to avoid that kind of headache, hubby and I have been going to PostalAnnex+ for the past year. We do our Amazon returns, get our important stuff notarized, if needed, and just send things priority mail/overnight/priority overnight if absolutely needed. We were able to get free accounts setup so we know our tracking numbers, and we can check on when our package has arrived somewhere, or at least the status of it. Customer service has been awesome. Have not had any issues with any of them, and they all know what they're doing. Of course, to have the absolutely best customer service, it means that they do take care of each customer, so you may need to wait a little before they get to you. But, honestly, it's just been pleasant experiences every time hubby and I have visited. Parking is not an issue! In the same center as Avalon Bagels, CVS, McDonalds, etc., there's plenty of parking! read more

They are located in the same shopping center as CVS. Right next door actually. I found myself here after refusing to go to my local UPS Store. They are always rude there and charging me extra for things like tape. So, here I am! I was greeted upon entering and helped right away. My experience here was so much better than what it has been in the past with UPS and the post office. They actually take the time to talk to you and treat you like a customer. I've been here a few times now and must say the "customer service" is pretty dismal. Even before the mask requirement, the little to no smiles given, snail like pace to help, and monotone voices make it seem like these employees either hate their job or hate their life. No one has ever been blatantly rude, but not nice either - just kind of existing.
