I hired them to rebuild two chimneys, apply two coats of paint, caulk, rebuild a d-log siding gable, replace roof screws and put a door cover up. Seemed like everything was going great until clean up day. Next thing I know Greg is doing work he never quoted, I never authorized and was never anything I would have agreed to and telling me I owe him money. When I finally got to see the work that I authorized and paid for I was disappointed. A cable that had been attached to the prior chimney was left swing off the house. Debris from the removal of rotting chimneys was left where it fell in the yard, in the driveway and screws were left on the roof in the yard and in the driveway. The door cover is great if your 5'8" but at 5'11" you may suffer a severe head injury from its low support strut. This unsolicited work that I did agree to is bogus. I expect Greg and I will be in Court soon. My best advice to anyone reading this is to keep looking. This is not a company you want to hire. I wish I had not!

When we called RRG they were very nice to speak to you on the phone and quickly scheduled our work. They followed up the morning of our service call to make sure we were still OK with the time and told us that Josh would be doing the repair work. Josh called prior to getting into our home and said he was running about 30 minutes late, which to me is huge because nowadays most people won't even bother calling you. Josh arrived and I showed him what had to be done and he was quick to get to work. He reattached the facia that was pulled away and also inspected the roof to see if there was any other damage but said everything else looked good. I can't speak highly enough of these folks as I've been a general contractor for 25 years and have dealt with some real characters in the past, but these guys are top shelf. I would highly recommend this company for all your roofing work even the small jobs. Hats off guys and thanks again for taking care of our project.

I also appreciated that Juan returned to my home after the job was completed as I had some issues as a result of some stone work that was completed one day after the gutters were installed. We worked through the fixes and now waiting on them to return to complete the work. It would have been beneficial if the gutter installers/schedulers/ would inquire about any other work scheduled to occur that might affect gutter install so as to not have to deal with a situation like mine.

Synopsis: Our driveway desperately needed an overhaul at a vacation home in Blairsville, GA. Our…read moreroofer referred us to Mike Whittemore Jr, Owner/Operator of GA Mountain Grading, LLC, and what an absolute blessing it turned out to be! I am retired from the military and have had a certain level of expectation groomed into me for many years, and I can tell you that it was an absolute privilege to witness someone combine pride in a job well done and customer satisfaction again! These are qualities often overlooked these days and was like a breath of fresh air to know that our money had been well spent. Not only would I refer this man, but I would also say that I prefer this man! Summary: The use of the driveway had been limited to one end because of two exceptionally large holes to the right of the driveway at the other end. They had begun to slowly consume the driveway over the past few years. After fine tuning the details and materials, my wife had signed a contract to have the reasonably priced work performed and was then told by Mike that he put her on the schedule and should take about two or three weekends to get to it. I called Mike and explained that the property was for sale and would prefer not to wait that long. I fully expected an attitude and argument with a chance of attitude and name calling, which did not happen. My jaw hit the floor when Mike said that he could bring one of his machines over that evening and asked if it would be okay to do the work at that time of day to get it done in a timelier manner. Mike used his excavator to dig as far down the two holes as possible and then replaced the dirt 6-8 inches at a time while tamping each layer with the excavator bucket until the dirt had been replaced. This process was so effective that four truckloads of dirt were brought in to top off the holes back to ground level. The existing driveway was graded and the edges tamped down and made ready for the next step. The A-Base was brought in and evenly spread, followed by a layer of clean stone. Not only did we have our driveway back, but Mike explained that the much-used end of the driveway was extremely hard and suggested we forgo the A-Base at that end and exchange it for an additional load of clean rock on top. It saved us nearly $100, looks great, and functions very well. Prior to Mike leaving, he went out of his way to clear and redefine the existing ditches to ensure that rainwater would be appropriately guided to prevent erosion. Mike also made sure to clean the rock from the road, better defining the contrast of white clean rock and the blacktop of the road. As we were describing what we wanted, he began to draw out a floor plan of a house he had built in the past that was exactly what we wanted. After agreeing on the floor plan, Chris went to work and gave us a quote within a few days. We spoke, in total, to 4 different builders, and he gave us the fastest turnaround time on floor plans and cost estimates than any. We choose Chris to build our home because we knew he would manage our construction in a professional and honest manner. We knew Chris was watching over things and knew if something went wrong he would fix it. I was always told that building a house would be one of the most stressful things ever done. However, this was not the case working with Chris. We would call and ask questions and he would always answer the phone and be willing to help. He would continually give us updates. All we had to think about was which flooring, which cabinets or what color we wanted the house. The so called "stress" of building wasn't there. In every construction project there will be a problem that pops up; however, if Chris called with an issue, he was always up front and provided options on how to resolve it.
