It was delicious, like the teriyaki chicken I used to get at the mall except made with quality ingredients. I'm excited to come back and try the ramen. Basic Asian bowls To start, We ordered food here through DoorDash pickup and can only speak to that, not eating-in. The food was ready only a few minutes after ordering, so speed was great. For context, we live less than 10 minutes away, and drove straight there after ordering and straight back. The staff helping with the pickup was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We opened up our steak teriyaki and spicy breaded chicken bowls as soon as we got home. The food was pretty ok. The steak was cooked just about right, but was fairly bland, and the chicken had good flavor, but was a bit soggy. Some veggies were a bit mushy, but most were good. The rice was pretty clumpy/sticky and was good, but maybe a tad over cooked for my liking. Overall we both ate our food without our complaint, but just didn't think anything was great, nor beat the quality/flavor of simply going to Panda Express. With only a few reviewers before me, maybe I'd think about giving it a shot in person if it started popping off. read more

I loved the downtown location with the lights and horses at night. Jo Jo Bowls & Boba is my new favorite restaurant in Ogden. Let me tell you why. Our server was helpful as we made menu selections and conscious of leaving out onions and keeping our sauces less spicy because of dietary restrictions. She checked on us and made recommendations too. I recommend upgrading to the delicious fried rice or noodles, they are worth the extra bit of flavor. I chose the beef option which is steak, then you choose your sauce, rice or noodles and can cater the veggies to what you like or don't like because everything is made fresh. My daughter had the shrimp and friend rice with broccoli and carrots and loved it. My partner had the veggie, tofu mix with the noodles and said the noodles tasted like they do in Taiwan. We also had the edamame and Gyoza and loved them both. The portions are large and the dishes are flavorful and the bowls come with a drink. For the amount of food, the quality, and the bonus of a soft drink, it is all well priced. I loved everything from the location, fresh/cooked just-right vegetables, and the great selection of proteins and sauces. My only regret- that I didn't have room for their boba- another reason to come back and there are so many. Thanks for a great meal and atmosphere! read more

Went for lunch with a friend and my kids. We had the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the beef teriyaki bowl with noodles. We also had a boba with coconut milk and strawberry popping boba. This was my first time ever having boba and I really liked it. My toddler enjoyed both the noodles/steak and the boba. They had a fish tank that he also enjoyed watching. The service was excellent and they were all very nice and accommodating to my toddler and baby. I will go back again with my husband and try some more menu items. read more

I love Jo Jo's. I've only been 3x but am thinking about it more than I should. I'll have to grab some takeout. The chicken is good quality and I've never had a greasy fatty piece that I've had at other places. I always order the noodle's which are amazing and the Gyoza is sooo good. Great flavor and a little crisp on the outside. I always ask for extra sauce and the bell peppers they use are the best I've had anywhere. I can't forget about the boba. I just moved to Ogden and have been on the hunt for a great Asian spot. I was walking down 25th street when I stumbled across this place and was absolutely blown away! The Black Tea Boba is delicious and refreshing. I decided to try the shrimp bowl with fried rice. The taste was absolutely amazing and the bowl was filled to the top with succulent shrimp and vegetables atop amazing fried rice. Tried this place for lunch and food was okay, flavor good but shrimp was overcooked and dry. Portion was very generous, actually too much for lunch and l ended up taking home enough for a nice meal. Service was great and l hope the place does well but wouldn't expect it as some nice restaurants have failed at this location. The pricing would keep me from returning or recommending as l just had lunch with water and with tip was twenty bucks. Not outrageous but not worth the price all things considered. This restaurant was just what I was seeking. Quality ingredients. Savory dishes, clean environment, friendly wait staff, and affordable. My husband and I bypassed the busier restaurants and gave this place a chance. He got the salmon bowl with wasabi butter and I got the vegetable and tofu bowl and matcha bubble tea. It was delicious and I ate my leftovers the next day. We also got edamame appetizer which was delicious too. I highly recommend for quality service food and overall dining experience.
