This is one of our post gym brunch spots! Service is always great, atmosphere is a little bit loud but that's to be expected with the type of establishment and it's fairly comfortable. We love their filet mignon salad which combines fresh greens, roasted peppers, and fresh cherry tomatoes with tender steak and is topped with a perfect dressing combo or something like a light honey mustard and balsamic glaze. Their wings are crispy with the perfect amount of heat and their parfait pairs fresh fruit with crunchy granola and creamy greek yogurt. We usually get all three and split it. We were huge fans of when OBC was ORB, but I think OBC has improved their offerings to where we're now big OBC fans. We bring our families here, we bring our friends here, we go on date nights here -- it's our "I-don't-know-where-to-eat-but-I'd-definitely-eat-at-OBC-if-you're-interested" place. My favorite item is their filet mignon salad. The tender meat and fresh vegetables to their combination of dressings has me hooked. My husband likes to get their burger or sandwiches when we go. Now that that weather is nice, sit on the patio! It's lovely to hear the water rushing nearby and watch others enjoy the outdoors. read more

My latest experience wasn't the greatest. I ordered my steak WELL DONE and it was a tough old cow with a lot of pink meat. The worst part was I could actually taste the pink meat. It was well undercooked! First time that I've ever been disappointed with this place. Sadly, it was so bad, I actually had to toss the vast majority of it out as it tasted completely RAW! The price isn't exactly the cheapest either. I'm hoping the chef was new! Garden side salad was fresh and delicious with a generous amount of blue cheese dressing per my request. Requested half regular fries/half sweet fries in a separate container away from my steak. This restaurant is always perfect in regards to reading notes/instructions. Regardless of my steak not turning out so well, it was the very first time out of many visits. We all make mistakes sometimes.. right? My husband and I decided to eat here for our wedding anniversary and we weren't disappointed. Just a heads up, we learned that they serve brunch until 3:00 (at least on Sundays). We started with a 5 beer sampler which contained the 1851, Cultura, Cougar Juice, Hola Aloha, and the Space Cruz. All were delicious, but my favorite was the 1851. I like a good light beer without the hops, but I would have been happy with 20 ounces of any of these beers. None of them were too strong. My husband really liked them all, but loved the Hola Aloha, Space Cruz, and Cougar Juice. After the sampler he ordered a 20oz Helles that was really good. I ordered an Electric Love (recommended by our waitress) and loved it! We ordered the Funeral Potatoes as our appetizer and WOW! Our tastebuds were not prepared for the deliciousness we were about to experience. We fully expected the typical square slab of grandma's funeral potatoes, but no, not these ones. These were sophisticated, crunchy, and came with the most delicious dipping sauce packed with incredible flavor. We devoured four slices and wanted more! Before we were able to shed too many tears about our vanished appetizer, our burgers were brought out. Mine was the Go Back to Cali burger and I would order it again and again and again! Put my order on repeat! The guac...the roasted jalapeños....SO GOOD. The sweet potatoes with the fry sauce were out of this world! They make the best fry sauce! Keep in mind that it's $0.50 to buy fry sauce if it doesn't come with your food though. Sweet potato fries unfortunately do not come with fry sauce, but the regular fries do. Sweet potato fries are also $2.00 extra, which I gladly paid. My husband ordered The Zues and loved the sauce they used. He loved it so much that he made me try it (it was definitely on point). However, he loved my burger more and wants to order it next time. I'd like to give a shout out to our waitress, Sandra. She was very nice and personable! She was so excited for our anniversary and made our dining experience a pleasant one. I hope she's our waitress when we dine here again. read more

Ogden Beer Company has the BEST steak in all of Utah! Their sides are awfully delicious too. I have been everywhere, to every restaurant and steakhouse, and absolutely no one does it better or cooks it to such perfection. One of their menu "Pub Favorites" is the 10 oz New York Steak (cooked your way) that is always fresh, a full 10 oz, and seasoned with an exceptional flavoring of garlic and butter. It's not even costly and worth every cent! With that, you do also receive two sides of your choosing per their menu options (some do cost an additional fee but nothing too exorbitant). My most recent visit I went with their house salad and a cup of their Chile Verde. First time trying that side here, and it didn't disappoint! By far more exceptional than any Mexican restaurant that I've been to. Completely smothered in flavor, including raw jalapeno slices that gave it just that ever perfect hot and spicy kick! The house salad is always fresh here. Includes plenty of different types of lettuce with croutons, cherry tomatoes, and red onion slices. The steak here is actually a full 10 thick ounces that is so fresh you can actually cut it with a plastic knife and fork if doing takeout. No old cows used or too much fat/too hard to chew at this restaurant! I highly recommend everything on their menu, but the Chile Verde really shocked me tonight with the abundance of flavors and pork (the pork had a bit of a turkey taste), if you're interested. Reminded me of Thanksgiving in a bowl with spicy heat. If you haven't been here you're missing out on good times and excellent food! read more

This is a forgotten about little place here in Ogden. It's downtown but on the northern most part. The food here is delicious! I had the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with fries. The fries are a battered fry, and what could set them apart would have them do fresh fries. I had the Hola Aloha, it was a lighter beer and the flavor was very good for a Hefeweizen. Our waitress was fast and efficient and made sure our beverages stayed full. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!! read more

This place is decorated cute. Nice little chill vibe. My friends had the nachos and cheese fries, they enjoyed them. I tried the crispy Brussels sprouts without bacon. The blueberry balsamic was delicious on the sprouts. I really enjoyed them and would go back for that item again. I also tried the Jack Mormon funeral potatoes. Honestly not my favorite but I could see how it might be others taste. The flight of beer was great! Lots of different choices. Service was great. No complaints. If it's warm sit outside. We decided to try OBC since it was a short walk from the condo where we were staying. It was a rainy Tuesday night so we were seated right away. Our waiter took our drink orders which were promptly delivered and quite tasty. Both beers were brewed by OBC. We ordered a steakhouse burger to split and an appetizer- jalapeño cheese dip with pita bread that was big enough for 6 people. The food and service was very good. LOVED this place! Great food, good service. We had a party of 8, and we were seated immediately. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the food - the portions are generous. After several disappointing restaurants in Utah, I was actually pleasantly surprised that this ended up being my favorite place despite the fact I don't drink. We came in for Sunday brunch and they had plenty of seats available that later got filled after we started eating. I didn't get to try everyone's dishes but I really loved the steak salad - huge portions and nearly perfect steak aside from one or two end pieces that were a bit overcooked. They also have the best Brussel sprouts I've eaten to date with a huge plate of roasted Brussels with bacon and a delightful blueberry reduction. The sweet and the salt go great together and it changed my perspective on how to cook Brussels - never would've thought that blueberry could go so well with them. Overall we had a great time with wonderful food and service. If I find myself back in Utah, I'll be sure to stop by again. read more

Service was pleasant and attentive except for the the gal at the front of the house and that's why I'm unfortunately docking a star. I called to ask the waiting list time and she hung up on me. I have never experienced that before. She was young and probably needs some training because the lack of curtesy or self awareness I saw when she interacted with others was astounding. This is now the Ogden Beer Company. New owner, new brewmaster, new menu. 2nd time here with the new ownership. Reggae, chill vibes. Wimpy and Fritz( the taco place next door) took it over. The Brewmaster is also the very first one in Utah, so that in itself is super cool. The patio is now covered so you can enjoy anytime of day, we had a nice breeze and sunset. Did double date night here. The dudes had the beer flights to find what they liked. I had the Madagascar Island drink that comes in an adorable tiki cup! My girl had a cocktail and enjoyed it. Started off with nachos, they were tasty. Calamari had good flavor, just over cooked about 2-3 min. I def want to try the Jack Mormon funeral potatoes next time. I did the garlic fries and steak salad, great dressing, steak cooked Just right. Others had the bbq flatbread, fish and chips and cubano sándwich. Everyone enjoyed their food, brews and cocktails.
