I have visited this store and Joann in other towns many times. This store specifically has improved so much with the customer service experience. It used to be tricky finding an employee who has much knowledge about sewing, fabrics and supplies. This seems to be getting better. The store is really understaffed. It is common to only see two employees in the store. I usually find myself looking things up on my phone to answer questions that I have because associates are busy. They recently remodeled and hired some new people. The remodel is great. It's easier to find things. The cutting area combined as a check out is brilliant. Some of the newer staff are really pleasant. I appreciate how welcoming and approachable they are. This store is usually very clean. I am very happy that the bathrooms are for use. I understand they must have concerns for theft but it was pretty awful when bathrooms were locked. I once was told my newly potty training toddler had to go to market basket at the other side of the mall to use a restroom. Currently they are open and I really appreciate the convenience. As for Joann stores in general they are just lacking. Supplies are usually low end. Newer sewing supplies are seldom carried here. Such as; they don't carry quilting binding clips, they only have one type of flat tipped quilting pins, they don't carry q snap embroidery frames in their stores and fabrics are improving but still are mediocre options. I hope at the corporate level they reconsider the potential to serve all types of sewing customers and offer more variety. read more

Amanda was so helpful and guided me through everything I would need to make a princess cape for my niece. Honestly, this is my go to store even though other Joann's are more convenient. It's slways clean, organized and the staff is very helpful. read more

I like how his store is so close to my apartment. I get my craft items here, but find the prices to be slightly higher than Michaels stores. This store has a lot for he basic craft supplies, yarn, and fabric. The staff is pleasant, although it seems they are understaffed more often than not. I am In and out of this store frequently and can usually find what I need! They have recently rearranged the store and it feels more open and clean. I'm a bit confused as to why they have implemented a number system (like the one at grocery deli's) as I have never seen it being used, not have it seen a long line of people awaiting fabric at the cutting station, but other than that, a normal craft store! read more

I cannot praise this store enough, every time I go to the store or called for some information whoever I interact with is always patient and polite. Today I called and spoke to Julie, she was very polite and patient. She got me what I needed and all with a smile in her voice. Buyer Beware. I placed order via curb side delivery due to Covid 19 restrictions. My order only consisted of 1 yard of knit fabric, what I received was a poorly cut piece (not a straight cut), and it was NOT the 1 yard that I paid for. The actual quantity received was only 30" not the 36" which I paid for. Do they not know that a yard is 36"? Never using them again. read more

Listen, as a big, bad red blooded American male, this store scares the crap out of me. I agreed to go to grab some fabric so my lovely wife could make some last minute Halloween adjustments to our 4 year old twins Hulk and Batman costumes. So there I was, a deer in headlights when Kate approached me and asked me what I needed. Long story short, she brought me to the right section, assessed what/how much fabric (I cringe typying the word fabric) and I was out the door in less than ten minutes. Also, I witnessed Kate handle another customer issue calmly and effectively in less than a minute, completley resolving the coupon issue. Bottom line is if Undercover Boss sent their CEO out to this store and followed Kate around she would be a Junior VP in less than a year. While its safe to say I won't be back anytime soon, I feel I can go to sleep tonight without any PTSD symptoms from my trip to JAF. read more

So craft of choice is scrapbooking so this review is based on the scrapbooking selection. It's pretty lame its's basically the end of the aisle they got some albums done paper and some stickers. Not a big selection at all. I came here because it's the closest craft store to my work...honestly couldn't see my self going to this store again. I gave if 2 stars because they happened to have s book of disney princess scrapbooking paper in 12x12. My daughter just had her 4th bday party and it was disney princess theme do that was pretty exciting!!!! read more

OMG I love this place . I just did a review for the one in Burlington ,but what a difference here of convenience . There was another customer at cutting table being waited on. Kate saw my sister & I waiting to get material cut as well. She let us know she would be right there and was .Very pleasant and responsive to my chatter. We also got to pay for the item at cutting table as well. And I should mention material was half price. read more

This store has great selection, friendly employees, and there's ALWAYS a coupon available. Love it!

Why their website says there are "11" of a particular item in stock and the store employees can't track down one is beyond me. Because I needed my item by Sunday, and it was a Friday and I wouldn't have a chance to get back to the store to not find the item yet again, I had to buy something a) more expensive (3x) and b) only half of what the set I wanted contained. oh well. Also, I looked around for 15 minutes for Dimensions needle punch kits and found none... not even other brands. read more

Staff was clearly overwhelmed today but I was trying to be understanding and patient. I came in just wanting some Velcro. I asked someone where I could find it, and she said "ummmm I think it's somewhere on that side of the store". So, I went over there and looked for a long time and did not see it. I asked someone else and he proceeded to take me to the opposite side of the store. I waited in line for thirty minutes to check out. When I asked someone If they were even checking out on this side of the store, the response I got was, I'm not sure, I'm new ask someone else. I get that she was new but that's not how you represent a business even when new. I encourage you to take the initiative for your customers and find out answers with them when you don't know them. I finally got to the front and they wanted to charge me forty dollars for the Velcro because they charge by yard and that point I said forget it. I ended up leaving 45 minutes later empty handed. It seems like the motto at this store is "if we never smile and use as few words as possible, these customers will go away and leave us alone!" I had a long ride to the store and needed to use the bathroom. Both bathroom doors were locked so luckily I figured out that there was must be a key to get in. A sign to that effect would have been helpful but clearly this store is NOT interested in customer service! I walked back through the store, and asked the cashier if there was a key to the bathroom. She said "yes." Then she continued processing the person in front of me. I asked if I could have the key and she said she had to open the bathroom door herself and could not leave her station in the middle of a transaction. At this point I was starting to get desperate. I asked if anyone else in the store could let me into the bathroom. She said that if I could find someone else they could unlock the door. I saw another woman who turns out to have been the store manager. When I asked her if she could let me into the bathroom, she told me coldly that I was standing in an employee area before answering my question. She had a puss on her face the entire time I was in the store. If you want a pleasurable shopping experience steer clear of this store. The only person who was nice and helpful was one woman who cut some of my fabric. She was pleasant and smiled and even chatted a little. I think she should get a job somewhere else where she might be appreciated by the management! read more
