Today the check wasn't good enough for them as I have "an out of state id, an out of state bank, and a in state address." Quite frankly I should've lied and just left my address as the incorrect address on the check--but I figured I would be a Good Samaritan and write my correct address on them for verification purposes. If the manager would've been polite I wouldn't be writing a review, however I've purchased thousands of dollars worth of home projects AND products at this store before via a check and it has never been an issue. When I asked her why it didn't work today but it had worked two weeks ago when I was last in, her response was "idk it doesn't work today" and when I asked if I could write a check for a portion and a card of the other she said "nope-when you get an in state is it'll work." I get it it's a stressful season, but it was 1030 on a Monday and it's far from busy in the store. I honestly won't be coming back into this store unless my employer asks me to pick some decorations up for our store.

I took my shower which helped a little but I still had itches. My calls were not going through so we sat and waited... the workers had made eye contact with us several times leaving us to sit and wonder if it was open or not. With uncertainty we drove away where we noticed 2 other workers staring at us??? So online shopping pick up at store is no better than just shipping right to customer's home. I wanted to order item and have picked up at Michael's in Mankato, MN. Site would not recognize my account, user ID, etc. nor would it let me sign up (in case of snafu). So then I tried to prepay for my order, in the Mankato store, but was told they could not take payments over the phone. Ridiculous in this day and age. I received daily emails from Michael's, so company has my email address. Also wanted me to download the Michael's app on my phone. I do not agree with Michael's privacy policy--providing all my info to other companies and entities, even including number of family members. Have all customers actually read your privacy policy? I should be able to order something without all these requirements. I finally ended up having store hold my item, while I send my sister money to go pay and pick it up. I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience.

Their border papers and print pattern 8 1/2" X 11" fit my needs to print my own ceremony programs (with very last minute changes); pre-event and post-event festivities invites in the convenience of my own home. The papers are acid-free quality and standard 8 1/2" X 11" American letterhead size, which is easy to set-up in MS Word for formatting and printing. I rate them four stars, despite of having invitation kits and stationery theme to many occassions as: wedding, baby, or various parties, MasterPiece Studios only sell to retailers not directly to consumers. Thus, their products are not easily locatable as my stationery retailers or online retailers do not carry their full line of products.

It is wonderful to see fabric displayed so nicely, and bolts very easy to work with. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and very attentive, and I felt very at home. Don't miss the shop when you visit Mankato!
