I popped over here to check out the store after we moved to this area. It's in a big shopping center area, which is great if you have multiple errands to run, but also a challenge if you want to just quickly park close and run in. The staff was nice, particularly the front desk associates who worked at the registers. It seems that the stock is pretty well kept, but the store is a bit smaller, so your selection of things may not be as huge as you'd desire as an avid crafter. I have purchased fabric, sewing supplies (buttons, etc), yarn and crafting materials, as well as holiday decor items - everything was great quality: what you'd expect from JoAnns. I too, am totally disappointed in the lack of either having enough people to fulfill curbside orders---but disappointed on the online process as well. It took 5 days to advise me that my order online was being cancelled due to no inventory (but yet the items appear online.) As far as curbside ordering went--it took 11 days to be notified the items were cancelled and yet the items still show as available on the store's website(checked when ordering) as well as currently. Did the person choose not to fill the order because she did not feel like cutting fabric? Instead of bombarding the customer with emails and coupons in the mail--why not do a better job of fulfillment? I do believe moving forward, I will have to drive a bit further to find a store that truly cares about the customer! So very sorry to say this as it a very convenient location for me. read more

Gave it 2 stars because the Fabric table team is terrific and the front end cashiers have been a 0. First: Long line. 1 person. Terrible customer skills. 2nd person finally came up to ring , and when my jewelry pieces rang in full price (w big 40% off signs plus me saying 'These are 40% off.', the cashier's response was: 'Well they're ringing in THIS price.' (Me: Yes they are...). Then she says: 'Well I'll have to go check.' (No list of sale items at the registers so now 10 people are STILL waiting in line???) THEN she looks at me and says: (wait for it)...'Can you tell me where the jewelry section is?' I do badly want to say: "Its not Walmart Sunshine, its Joanne's." Instead I put down the items and said: 'Are you kidding???? I'll spend my money somewhere else.' Shame on the hiring manager who never trained this woman on: A) Customer Service skills B) Know where the basic departments are C) As soon as you clock in, review what's on sale that day. D). Move faster than a snail when there are 10 people on line. Ugh. read more

Given that 80% or my orders have not been fulfilled & therefore wasted weeks basically waiting for a cancellation notice, if any, I just don't know if I can continue shopping here in the future. Two weeks ago I place 3 orders within 24 hours. The 2nd order was ready in just 3 hours. I waited 2 days anticipating the remaining 2 orders would follow shortly & thus save me an additional drive. Especially since it's 1.5 hours round trip. While there, I asked about my 2 other orders. I was told they were overwhelmed with curbside orders. Given current times I wanted to believe her. However! 5 days later I received a txt my 1st order was canceled. I went into the app & saw they had also canceled the 3rd order. I was never notified. I had placed all 3 when there was 40% off curbside orders. I attempted to reorder the items (now a higher price), less the fabric for curbside & added 2 items to be shipped. No issue with the shipped items. Yesterday, I got the txt they canceled all the curbside items. I'm fully expecting they will cancel the 5th curbside as well (2 of 1 item-no longer on sale). This will be 4 out of 5 orders canceled! If I were to go & again reorder the items they are now no longer on sale so, again, I'm paying a higher price. Honestly, I've started to wonder if the store is picking & choosing which orders to fill or waiting a week just to cancel orders so customers have to pay a higher price when they try again & again. I have been shopping at this location exclusively for all my fabric, notions & yarn for years &, sadly, have started to loose my patience. Suggestions: If your store is so overwhelmed, perhaps you should staff the store the normal hours & not the current "open" 5 hours to be able to fulfill the pending orders or shorten the online time frame that curbside orders can be placed. One thing I feel needs to atop os the sending multiple daily emails corporate sends with sales & BS "in store" coupons OR forego the shipping costs on the items, available in store, that the store has canceled. I really wish I this could have been a better review. They're always understaffed but I have found most employees are polite & helpful. That said, good luck finding a staff member anywhere other than the cutting table & registers. read more

The lights are turned off in the aisle of the fabrics sections and the true colors of the fabrics are hard to see..i have to load my cart and go to a different part of the store to see them clearly...this is horrible! Overall, the store is clean and well stocked... read more

The only people working are at fabric table and cashier. There is never anyone working at framing counter or customer service to help you find anything. They need staff around and available to help with locating items. When I called to see if they had something, they were very helpful. Staff is very friendly. read more

Kind of useless for any of my arts and crafts. Waste a lot of trips here. Last one was to purchase a sizing pen for gold leaf. Lady did not know what I was talking about. How else do you get gold leaf flakes to stick? read more
