My husband has diabetes and he does a very thorough exam looking for retinopathy after dilating his eyes and showing us on the computer how his retina compares to the older images. He also checks for glaucoma and cataracts. He has a new imaging device that looks at the structure of the cornea in great , microscopic detail. We feel he is not just providing prescriptions, but taking great care to diagnose eye disease early enough to treat and prevent blindness. I am quite pleased with his diligent care.

Despite a lost and found at the park, I just knew those new glasses were gone. We still had other vacation stops to make - some that were very scenic and I needed a replacement pair ASAP. I called the office at 9am and discussed my plight with Kristin and Patty. They were kind, patient, and VERY efficient. I was able to get my eye doctor to fax them my prescription, I stopped in the store to choose a basic frame, and in a couple of hours a basic replacement pair of glasses were ready for us to pick up and continue our journey to other states. $125 well worth it. I was treated rudely when I needed new glasses fitted, and at a later date when I ordered new lenses, despite Dr. Derodes telling the technician I was getting Transition lenses (so they knew I didn't need a new prescription) and ME telling her I wanted Transition lenses, they got ordered incorrectly. And now I have to accommodate the correction time frame and cost and trips to Fremont. Who is in charge of the eyeglass center?
