This is such great, practical, and valuable "shooting," safety, and response training that feels very much like real life scenarios with how immersive it is, that I genuinely feel like this should actually be implemented as something you're strongly encouraged to do if you're going to carry at all. I came here for my first time and purchased the Bill Drill. Don't cheap out, believe me it's worth it. I would not recommend doing anything lower than that because trust me you will WANT to be able to run through 5 experience rounds, probably more let's be honest and if so, you can add more). Initial first experience is a range session for safety / weapon handling training which is so fun and gets your feet wet / ready for what to expect handling the firearm moving forward. Whether or not it's your first time handling a weapon this is so valuable and IF you are new to it, this is amazing, there's no danger here and you're getting great training instruction. Additionally, you are made to treat this like a weapon of destruction even if it isn't real, because they want you to absolutely feel like it is, have that muscle memory that if you ever do have a real world situation where you have to recall this experience, you will know what to do and you're taking it seriously, always. There is not a big like real firearms of course, but there is sound and c02 so you are definitely still feeling the feedback of the recoil, and the simulators also give gunshot sounds. So cool. Immersive scenarios like: a home invasion where you're responding as a police officer, a mall scenario with active shooters, a street / diner scenario responding as a strapped civilian, and comp training where you're moving through an obstacle space and everything is a target. Every single scenario is so much fun. You have to keep your head on a swivel. You have to ask for weapons to be dropped, you're scanning for threats and protecting the innocent making sure you're getting the bad guys only. However - we ended up choosing to do the Comp Obstacle an second time because it's timed, you're truly testing out aim / accuracy, response, you're HUSTLING - like, actually after two times I was out of breath lol 10/10 all the way around. I will say - if you've done that before and you're back again or you're not sure if the scenarios are for you, I also highly HIGHLY recommend the Underground if you're just wanting to shoot targets and run about as tactfully as you can, whilst racing against the time. You definitely challenge yourself and it's still very immersive! That's now my favorite! Bar & Grill for food - don't skip it, full bar, seltzers, beers on tap, it's all here. The food is so good I think I'll be craving these wings again and again, we got sweet teriyaki, thank me later! The Buffalo Chicken Wrap & Patriot Burger, bartender friendliness and service, all of it five stars. The Whiskey Sliders ?! omg that dill aioli is INCREDIBLE! I feel like those are the go-to if you don't want wings, just sayin! Last but certainly not least, the way veterans are honored here will bring tears to your eyes. It did ours. There are mindful and thoughtful PTSD trigger warnings upon initiation of entry, there is a Wall of Honor that has a projection of photos that people can upload of loved ones who have served - there's a QR code and you can add yours (it takes up to 48hrs to show) but it's on there forever. Veterans get green colored dog tags instead of the black ones. Every third Tuesday there is a Veteran meet up. These are just things I've noticed, I'm sure it all goes so much deeper than these things. That bit though is very special. Love this place! Just wanted to also shout out by name some of our favorite people we've been in contact with throughout the last month i've been going because yes of course I became a member (lowest tier, $60 a month and you can go M-thursday) Charlene at check in is the most friendly and helpful, you're bound to be besties with her when you meet it's just a thing. Everyone is so easy to talk to, so informative and knowledgeable, they really help encourage you and also educate you on things throughout your visit, increasing your confidence and definitely making the whole thing just a really great experience!

I love going to the range, shooting, and learning tactics. It was easy to find with a huge parking lot out front. The check-in process was smooth because we completed forms in advance. We were given dog tags that track our experience. We waited for a few minutes for 2 others that joined our group that we didn't know. We walked through metal detectors, given gear, and informed on safety parameters. The experience we had was 3 different things. We started in the range where we were given different challenges to complete. I was a pretty good shot! Our next experience was responding to a domestic violence call as a police officer. That was intense! My boyfriend and I were able to do that scenario together. The third was a timed course that each of us do individually. There were lots going on, places to look for targets, and some fast pace moves! I was proud that I atleast did not come in last place. They offer monthly memberships. We dined at the sports bar in the front. I got to say the drinks were ice cold and the food was very good! I would definitely come back here!

I don't know how to explain it. I feel as if all eyes are on me and I am not welcome. Now, let me clarify, I do get this feeling at other firearms stores, so maybe it's just their MO, but it is amplified at SF. I usually let this go, and just do my business since they are close by and usually have the ammunition that I need. Unfortunately a little over a week ago I was prepared to purchase, not come in and kick the tires, purchase a Glock 43 for my wife. I called them, they had one in stock, I said "please throw my name on it and I will be right over". The girl said well, we can't put a name unless you put a credit card down on it. Unfortunately I was in the back 40 of my property and didn't have my wallet on me, but figured that it would be fine. I can't say that this is all their fault. You know the ending of the story....I drove to SF to purchase the firearm, and they sold it. Yes, I know 2020 is a weird year and firearms are going like hotcakes, but in all honesty she knew I was a serious customer and if she had any thoughts on it selling immediately she should have told me "no, sir you should really get your credit card and put it on as these are going fast". That was not said to me, I assumed it would be there and it wasn't. I get that part of it. 2020 is a strange year and nothing is in stock, and if it is,.... it's not in stock long. That does not take away the fact that the customer service at SF is lackluster at best. I feel they are extremely rude and not the least bit helpful when clientele walk in. People are always just standing around and staring aimlessly at the wall. It's an uncomfortable experience. The dog is the best part of my visit since she loves to come and lean up against your leg and get love. If it wasn't for the dog, the experience would be 100% dark and uncomfortable.

I have had formal training previously for my NY Guard license so I was familiar with what could be expected. I can easily state that the training I received from CFI was excellent! It was a no nonsense hands on series of lectures, videos and handouts with a series of written tests ending with testing at the range. To their credit, one of my classmates failed the range test so it was evident that the company takes the training very seriously. The icing on the cake came when I began receiving calls and emails from Security Guard agencies who obtained my name from CFI (they have a signup sheet where I gave them permission to market me). The cost of the classes are very reasonable for the amount of hours required and I will be paid back within a few days of work with the agencies they gave my name to!

They are plans to add some 5 additional pistol bays in 2013. Every weekend has some kind of competition shooting event, with dedicated pistol bays reserved just for members to use while the matches are going on. Great idea! USPSA, IDPA, ICORE, Defensive Carbine Rifle, 22 caliber Fun Match, Steel Challenge and 3 Gun as well as private training for guys like me that need instructional classes. Great place to just go with the kids, and very friendly members and staff make this a must see in Central Florida. Highly recommended!!

I sat through a 5+ hr class of hate speech and couldn't do anything about it without losing the money I paid. The 30 mins we covered CCW laws felt rushed and I didn't feel comfortable asking questions and risk getting an answer that was based in racism. He also spent a lot of time disparaging George Floyd and Trayvon Martin while empathizing with police who are facing charges in the case of George Floyd, and sharing a personal theory of how he believes that both Floyd and Martin caused their own deaths. It was incredibly distasteful and traumatic.

Mr. Powers neglected to provide a receipt. We were originally scheduled to attend the gun range on August 25th; however, Mr. Powers never confirmed or advised us regarding the gun range's location. We then rescheduled with Mr. Powers for November 10th. Mr. Powers again never confirmed or advised us regarding the gun range's location. One week later, Mr. Powers finally advised that he had to cancel our appointment due to family obligations. He reached out to reschedule on November 18th; however, Mr. Powers was unresponsive. On November 24th, we requested a refund, as it had become apparent that the gun range expedition would not occur. Despite numerous assurance via telephone that we would be refunded the full amount of our purchase and repeated follow-ups on January 13th and January 29th, Mr. Powers still has not issued a refund. Today, for the first time, Mr. Powers has indicated that although he was "in process of refunding" us, he is now taking the position that the purchase is non-refundable, despite failing to communicate this at the time of purchase or at any time since. I would strongly recommend avoiding this business, which in my experience is extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

I came out with my wife for a private shooting instruction, and tried various handguns. There is a membership that is under $400 to start for the year, there are public days here too, and those are days when there is a crowd and you may have to wait a while to shoot. You bring your own gun, ammunition, and targets so you're using your own product. There are some rules that you must obey, or you'll be asked to leave. Bring some earplugs and eyegear whether it's your everyday glasses or some eye protection, as you don't want to suffer temporary deafness or get anything in your eyes. Fun fact, due to the range being rural, you will see some wildlife, whether on the path to the range, or on the range itself. No you can't shoot the wildlife!
