Great experience with JDL! I was really surprised when I called and someone answered the phone and told me a guy could be out in 30 minutes for a routine, non emergent job. I was almost speechless bc im used to the usual run around in Denver taking forever to get someone to do something. Anyway, that guy came right on time, made an assessment, and thought the job was beyond his comfort level, and told me the owner would prefer to do this himself. He could come the next day, still within 24 hours of the very routine call. I still didn't believe it. Again, another very punctual arrival by the owner the next day. And he automatically took off his shoes without asking my preference, which I really appreciate! Just take them off, don't ask so I don't feel bad about inconveniencing you. He assessed all the lock situations in question, told me what he could and couldn't do (welding job not lock related) and quoted a price which we both agreed upon before proceeding. The items not lock related, he told me what the problems were and referred me to the correct people to manage those issues. He installed some super cool locks which I didn't even know existed, and he had the right color already stocked on his truck. None of the usual, oh we have to order it in like 4-6 weeks then blah blah blah. He had it, had all the tools, and got the job done in a matter of a couple hours. It made me feel so productive! The job was done well with an eye for detail, and he kept a clean working area and was careful. My purse was stolen and it had my ID and house keys! I was instantly concerned about someone having my address and keys so I called Job Done Locksmith. They came out the same day and were so quick, efficient and professional. I thought I only needed my front door done but he kindly reminded me that my garage door had a lock that needed changing too (silly me!). He helped my aunt jump start her car then waited 45 mins while she drove out to charge up the battery to make sure it will not die on her , then getting her remote battery changed and getting a spare jumping cable for her for a job only require to have him to unlock the car. I'm very grateful for the speedy response by this company to come and rescue me from locking myself out of my house. But $125 is outrageous to charge for a job that literally took two minutes to get done. I completely understand that the type of lock determined the price but you guys are super professional and have the tools in hand to open even the most complicated locks. I consider myself a very handy person and always fix anything that breaks in my home, so I think it was just frustrating to pay that much because I left my keys inside while dealing with my daughter's tantrum that morning. Doesn't help that I'm unemployed due to Covid. Would love to give this locksmith 5 stars but truly believe they could charge a little bit less. read more

Created a duplicate key for a used car. Fast, very fast. Priced about 20% below dealer costs. Quoted over the phone and showed up in less than 30 min. The ONLY issue was, no mask. I wore one. This work was done outside, but ....well, science. I let it go because I needed a key and it was nice and windy. I minimized interaction and at least, the sub-contractor was wearing gloves. EDIT: The owner called very upset and apologetic over the lack of a mask. He addressed the issue with his employee and offerred to make it up to me. He stated that company policy in these trying times is to wear a mask. I would not hesitate calling Job Done in the future. If you are at risk healthwise, just confirm that a mask will be worn.
