2nd time coming here and I am a fan. Had to wait several minutes to be served, but it looked like the bartenders were changing shifts, so no biggy. They have sparkling wine on draft which is just ok. I'd probably do a mimosa next time I'm there for Sunday Funday. Great dj playing awesome tunes. Small outdoor space on Roosevelt so it's a great people watching spot.

we chose this place on a whim and loved the chill atmosphere. fun to look around. honey lavender latte and strawberry matcha were really good! so was the avocado toast. music felt like it gradually got louder so was hard to hear towards the end but i'd come back

For downtown Phoenix locals this is a staples in my opinion. Whether you're having a bad day and need a smiling face to talk to or trying to get sauced this is a great starting point. From breakfast sandwich to one of the best burgers in downtown, come visit John and the team. If you're not a downtown local don't worry about it, this place doesn't have the "if you're not local get out" feel. Downtown local secret unlocked... hot dogs la memoria sets up after 8PM for some late night Sonoran dogs. These are as authentic as it gets hands down my favorite across all of phx, if you've had a couple drinks and just want some fire glizzies to take home DO IT! Also pool table open

Detroit Style Pepperoni Pizza

Best pizza we have found in AZ Stopped in for lunch after recommendation from an online forum to try the pizza at this little coffee shop in downtown Phoenix. Glad we made the trip! This is not on their menu online, but it was $15 after tax for two large slices. Wife and I both left full and satisfied and it was a perfect sharing size for lunch.

What a find this was! Drinks were great as was the food! Service was quick and the aesthetic was cool. This is how you do a bar and coffee shop mixed.

In this place, coffee never gets old. I like how even at late hours I can still get a coffee. Their dirty chai latte is their best.

Me and my friend stopped here when taking a walk downtown. The place is very dark, or dimmed inside. It wasn't overly loud but still wasn't effective for a conversation if you sit inside. Me and my friend only stopped here to get some ice cream! I personally had the circus cookie ice cream. The presentation of the ice cream was cute! The little box and fortune cookie was unique and perfect for sizing. The ice cream wasn't overly sweet but was still satisfying. I would definitely return for another scoop!

Used to love this place. Today, I spent $8.42 on an almond milk mocha. It was not as good as I remember and much more expensive. If you're going to raise the price on the cheapest commodity in your establishment (coffee) - you'd better find a way to make it AMAZING. I could have gotten this paper cup of milk coffee anywhere for less than this. Still a cool place to chill, but won't be getting a mocha anymore.

Jobot does not know what it's doing. First of all, one staff member taking care of everyone in a downtown Phoenix cafe is absurd. The wait is ridiculously long and a waste of everyone's time. Second, I paid $7.60 for an awful oat milk latte. It was seriously so bad and sour, and completely lacks smoothness and quality. I asked for honey to add some taste to it, but I still could not finish this cup of embarrassment. Third, it's the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever gotten. Fourth, why are the sugars and stirrers not out for people to use? Do they think customers will go crazy on stirrer use? That's another waste of time, to wait for the employee to come around so you ask for a stirrer. And fifth, why is the music so loud?! Is this a cafe or a hip-hop club? I could still hear the music with my noise-cancelling earbuds on. I feel like they cover up their poor coffee beverages with their doll decorations and they think it's cool and entertaining, but at the end of the day, it was a complete waste of money and time. I threw out my cup after two sips and left.

In the five plus years I've been coming here it is always amazing every time! I took a friend here that's visiting from out of town and she loved it just as much as me and that made me happy. Coming from Utah she couldn't grasp that they sold coffee and alcohol ha ha ha I myself love the food and well...everything about it. Vibe, music, food, coffee. It's all consistent and staff awesome . Today while my friend enjoyed a mimosa and such I had some melt ice cream . I sampled a few, but I take the bartenders word for it and chose the fig and goat cheese with cherry. It was freaking fantastic! Not over sweet, smooth and just plain perfect. They offer only one size, but still comes in the same oil containers as always. Great stop always.

The Pemberton is a large outdoor entertainment venue in downtown Phoenix. Park along the street or…read moredo as we did and pull up in electric scooters. Entry is free, but you do enter through security guards and pat downs. As soon as we were through security, we were immersed in art through color and sound. It felt like an unending psychedelic labyrinth! Through bushes, we spotted meat cooking on a grill. To our left was a lit up bar, the first of many. Keep walking, and soon we were surrounded by paintings. It was like a choose-your-own adventure! Go left towards art or step to the right to find a covered turf lawn with a live band. We grabbed cocktails at a variety of bars, including a Japanese inspired garden. It was like a lucid dream. We walked through an L.E.D. tunnel, passed couples sitting at elevated hexagon shaped booths, and at one point ended up in a house with a dance party. It's a unique concept. Fun for an intimate date night or an outing with friends.

The drinks and food lines were longer than usual 10-15mins. We explored several inner sections of the venue and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It felt lively and fun, with a bit of adventure as we walked around. I'd definitely recommend this as a solid 4th or 5th date spot, great energy, social, lounge, saki bar, margarita bar and something a little different but all in one place.

Surprise Father's Day gift to go on a "flight" from NY to Tokyo. This was such a cool experience…read more I'm an airplane junkie so going back in time in a vintage plane was awesome. The vibe is intimate and the staff was amazing. The food was good; my wagyu was cooked nicely but my wife's was a bit overdone. The peanuts pack some heat so they were a bit too spicy. This is a cool date night experience and you get wings, like the old days.

"Captain's Club" is $100/person for admission, a Welcome cocktail, 2 craft cocktails of your choice and 4-course light bite menu featuring King Crab Dumplings, Mini Salmon Lox Bagel, Japanese A5 Wagyu Skewers, New York Style Cheesecake" Additional food/drinks are also available for purchase separately. There are table options to seat up to 2 or 4 people for $50 and $100, respectively. As I was in a party of 2, I cannot speak to if you must purchase a full table as a party of 1 or pay your individual fare but potentially be seated with another party of 1... My partner and I RSVP'd for a Thursday 7:30pm flight from NYC to Tokyo. Per our email, we were instructed to arrive about 15 minutes early to pick up our flight tickets from the downtown restaurant Wren & Wolf. Spoiler alert: Carry On is a speakeasy attached to the back of the restaurant. After picking up your ticket, you walk around the corner to the large orange "plane" door, which opened punctually at 7:30pm to start our experience. We gave our flight attendants (the staff was indeed wearing flight attendant uniforms) our tickets at the front desk, and were given free Carry On pins before being escorted to our table. Despite being a Thursday evening There were overhead announcements and even windows playing animations emulating a real flight experience from take-off to landing! The interior is gorgeous, from the furnishings to the lighting. Craftily, there are many mirrors inside to create the illusion of a larger space. The menu emulated an in-flight menu, with food and drinks based on the trip's theme! We ordered an additional drink each and an onion dip that were all creatively crafted and delicious! All in all, Carry On is the perfect date night or girl's night experience. While it might not be in most people's price range for a casual night out, it is definitely worth trying for a special occasion if possible. I would love to go back and am looking forward to the next destination's theme!
