2nd time coming here and I am a fan. Had to wait several minutes to be served, but it looked like the bartenders were changing shifts, so no biggy. They have sparkling wine on draft which is just ok. I'd probably do a mimosa next time I'm there for Sunday Funday. Great dj playing awesome tunes. Small outdoor space on Roosevelt so it's a great people watching spot.

we chose this place on a whim and loved the chill atmosphere. fun to look around. honey lavender latte and strawberry matcha were really good! so was the avocado toast. music felt like it gradually got louder so was hard to hear towards the end but i'd come back

For downtown Phoenix locals this is a staples in my opinion. Whether you're having a bad day and need a smiling face to talk to or trying to get sauced this is a great starting point. From breakfast sandwich to one of the best burgers in downtown, come visit John and the team. If you're not a downtown local don't worry about it, this place doesn't have the "if you're not local get out" feel. Downtown local secret unlocked... hot dogs la memoria sets up after 8PM for some late night Sonoran dogs. These are as authentic as it gets hands down my favorite across all of phx, if you've had a couple drinks and just want some fire glizzies to take home DO IT! Also pool table open

Best pizza we have found in AZ Stopped in for lunch after recommendation from an online forum to try the pizza at this little coffee shop in downtown Phoenix. Glad we made the trip! This is not on their menu online, but it was $15 after tax for two large slices. Wife and I both left full and satisfied and it was a perfect sharing size for lunch.

What a find this was! Drinks were great as was the food! Service was quick and the aesthetic was cool. This is how you do a bar and coffee shop mixed.

In this place, coffee never gets old. I like how even at late hours I can still get a coffee. Their dirty chai latte is their best.

Me and my friend stopped here when taking a walk downtown. The place is very dark, or dimmed inside. It wasn't overly loud but still wasn't effective for a conversation if you sit inside. Me and my friend only stopped here to get some ice cream! I personally had the circus cookie ice cream. The presentation of the ice cream was cute! The little box and fortune cookie was unique and perfect for sizing. The ice cream wasn't overly sweet but was still satisfying. I would definitely return for another scoop!

Jobot does not know what it's doing. First of all, one staff member taking care of everyone in a downtown Phoenix cafe is absurd. The wait is ridiculously long and a waste of everyone's time. Second, I paid $7.60 for an awful oat milk latte. It was seriously so bad and sour, and completely lacks smoothness and quality. I asked for honey to add some taste to it, but I still could not finish this cup of embarrassment. Third, it's the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever gotten. Fourth, why are the sugars and stirrers not out for people to use? Do they think customers will go crazy on stirrer use? That's another waste of time, to wait for the employee to come around so you ask for a stirrer. And fifth, why is the music so loud?! Is this a cafe or a hip-hop club? I could still hear the music with my noise-cancelling earbuds on. I feel like they cover up their poor coffee beverages with their doll decorations and they think it's cool and entertaining, but at the end of the day, it was a complete waste of money and time. I threw out my cup after two sips and left.

Used to love this place. Today, I spent $8.42 on an almond milk mocha. It was not as good as I remember and much more expensive. If you're going to raise the price on the cheapest commodity in your establishment (coffee) - you'd better find a way to make it AMAZING. I could have gotten this paper cup of milk coffee anywhere for less than this. Still a cool place to chill, but won't be getting a mocha anymore.

A nice spot to sit down and get coffee! Jobot is an interesting restaurant that serves coffee, ice cream, and an eclectic selection of foods (dim sum being one of them -- I'll have to come back to try it). Parking is a little challenging to find as there is only street parking available, so you may have to search around in the local area to find a metered parking spot. The interior of the shop is decorated with interesting art and local flyers, and there's plenty of interior seating available. There's even a cool arcade machine table that's free to play at! In terms of coffee, I ordered an iced lavender oat latte. I liked my drink! It was floral, not too sweet, and creamy. I wouldn't mind stopping by again in the future to try some of their other drinks or perhaps sample the food. It's a nice hangout spot if you ever want to bring a friend or two!

Apparently the shop sources coffees and teas from local businesses. For example, coffees = Infusion Coffee Roasters in Tempe, loose leaf teas and chai = Maya Tea Company in Tucson, kombucha = Milly Moon Kombucha in Phoenix, and breakfast burritos = Lua Lua Catering. [Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink. The drink also came with a paper straw. *** A great spot for a casual 1st date due to great vibe, but matcha latte just didn't hit the spot.

I've only heard great things and it was such a pleasure to make a visit. The interior is ultra modern, and art-centered. On a Wednesday morning, there was one staff member holding it down and a wait/line with about 5-6 people, so the wait was about 15-20 minutes in total-- including ordering and waiting for drinks. There was mainly only paid street parking options, but it wasn't hard to find any right in front of the shop. I got two drinks: Más and Abeja, to try their matcha and coffee, and really thoroughly enjoyed both. The matcha is a little bit on the milkier side, but I did enjoy that it was completely unsweetened, and leaned on the vanilla cold foam for a light sweetness. I think I enjoyed the coffee more personally, as the honey paired super well with the espresso and oat milk. The espresso is very good. I would come back if I was in the area, I just wish the parking situation was a little different!

I saw in one of the comfy chairs while I waited for my former student to arrive. At that point, we moved to a regular table and then went and ordered drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Absolute Perfection! Hands Down the Best Coffee in Arizona!…read more My husband and I are avid flavored latte lovers, and wherever we travel, we make it our personal mission to hunt down the absolute best lattes in the area. Now that we live here, we dedicate one day a week to exploring a brand-new local coffee shop. We've been living in Arizona for 7 years now, and after visiting The Coffee Builders in Phoenix this week, my only question is: Where has this place been all our lives?! This incredible hidden gem is tucked away in the Warehouse District and is a bit out of sight--you'd likely never just stumble across it unless you were explicitly looking for it. But the moment you walk through the doors, you are transported. The architectural design is completely unexpected, modern, and striking--especially the gorgeous, geometric upside-down wooden pyramids stretching across the ceiling. It creates an upscale, unique atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Now for the main event: the drinks and food. I ordered the Orange Blossom Latte and my husband ordered The Slopes. Both drinks were absolutely outstanding. They were rich, velvety, thick, and incredibly creamy with deep, distinct flavor profiles. Best of all, they weren't overly sugary--which is huge for us since we typically prefer our coffee at half-sweetness. To pair with our drinks, we tried the Blueberry Bourbon Maple Pastry. It was phenomenal: flaky on the outside, light and pillowy-creamy on the inside, beautifully balanced, and generously loaded with fresh blueberries. The staff was highly professional, exceptionally welcoming, and deeply knowledgeable about their shop and everything on the menu. From this day forward, The Coffee Builders is officially our #1 favorite coffee shop in AZ. Do yourself a favor, make this a top priority on your bucket list, and treat yourself--you will not be disappointed!
