Songbird is a quaint coffee shop in historic single family home and a good place to sit and read a book. There is metered parking on street and I heard there is also limited parking in back. Minimal food options, mostly pasty and muffins. I had the ice latte. The interior has lots of second hand furniture and local art on the walls, adding character. If you're truly lucky you'll be able to meet Inky Bob the resident cat.

I came here to get some studying done, and it was the perfect workspace with cozy seating and plenty of outlets. I ordered the iced mocha (available in 16 oz and 24 oz), which was fantastic and had exactly the rich, dark chocolate flavor I look for. The staff was incredibly nice and patient, perfectly complementing the unmatched, inclusive atmosphere filled with local art, pride flags, and unique birdcage lighting. The crowd completely matches the vibe, upbeat, friendly, and genuinely open to chatting. great spot that I highly recommend!

Suuuuper cute coffee house! There is art everywhere and it has an in-home feel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Super vast tea menu with both caffeinated and herbal options. The teas can all be done hot or iced. I ordered the prickly pear iced tea and it was so refreshing and amazing in the heat! My coworker ordered a blueberry muffin iced latte and enjoyed it.

Stopped in for a drink after an outing in the area. The menu board was a little confusing especially for some of the teens in our group but everyone that ordered something enjoyed their drinks. The lemonade with honey was refreshing and bright. Service was friendly and fast. I would stop again.

I got a blueberry lavender Matcha. It was really good. It's one of their options on the chalkboard. Barista made it pretty quickly and I was on my way. The space is really cute. Plenty of seating. Nice place to get some work done. There is a house cat and is honestly so cute.

Over the last several months, Songbird has become my favorite coffee and tea shop in the valley! Everything from their delicious drinks, charming interior and courtyard, to their recently installed trinket swap and regularly scheduled community events make it an all around great place to be. My go-to drink is their half spicy half sweet chai tea, though I occasionally order their matcha or their thai tea which are always delicious. My favorite thing about Songbird is their resident cat, Inky Bob. If you're lucky you'll see him roaming the grounds or napping on the couch inside. Who doesn't love a cafe cat? I look forward to every visit to Songbird and love the community they've created here in Phoenix.

I absolutely adored the Songbird coffee and tea house in Phoenix! It is in a cute historic home with a beautiful patio! The service was outstanding, and the drinks were made very quickly. I really enjoyed the relaxed vibes on the patio. There are plenty of chairs and tables outside. I ordered the Americano and Chia pudding ... so good. Can't wait to visit again.

Cute lil spot, nice indoor and tons of outdoor seating which I appreciate. The matcha was delish, perfect and not overly sweet.

First thing first ! Come early for the brown butter coffee cake . We got here at 12 on a Sunday and it was gone ! The good news is, the sea salt chocolate chip cookies was HEAVENLY and did the trick to satisfy the sweet , salty tooth ! The shop is unique and worth a visit . It's inside an old house and little details sprinkled EVERYWHERE. Seating inside and outside . Beautiful patio area with sparrows and dog friendly :) I had a vanilla iced may ha with oatmilk ' it was perfectly balanced :) not overly sweet but def sweet

Such a sweet spot in Phoenix! I love the set up inside and how nice/warming the people are. I enjoyed the matcha latte with strawberry and a bit of vanilla syrup. I asked for the chai latte to be sweet but it was spicier than I anticipated, still enjoyed it though!

Matcha latte is *chefs kiss*. You can tell the matcha is really high quality, and their sugar free vanilla syrup that they make in house added just the right hint of sweetness. Peanut butter cookie is gluten free and freaking delicious, highly recommend.

Nestled within a charming cottage in the heart of downtown Phoenix, Songbird Coffee and Tea House welcomes locals and visitors alike with cozy cups of coffee and tea. I was out for a morning walk when I passed by the café. In a city of glass and stone and desert sand, the rustic house and green plants seemed to breathe and beckoned me to step in. I went up the steps to the front door and stepped into the reading room. The morning sun filtered in and filled the room with warm, yellow tones. Going farther back, I found the counter where I ordered a latte with almond milk. I picked up my latte and sat on the couch in the nook to enjoy my drink. My coffee was nutty and smooth. The tender milky notes melded with the delicate bitter notes, a hint of maltiness gracing the top. The coffee warmed my heart and picked up my soul. This was a well-balanced start to my day. I was delighted to find a cat napping at the other end of the couch. His name was Inky Bob (a fitting name for this furry ink spot with a bob for a tail). As I sipped my coffee and Inky Bob rested with not a care in the world, time came to a standstill. But eventually, I had to move on with my day. I enjoyed the moment of rest that I found at Songbird Coffee and Tea House, and I'll have to come back and visit again the next time I'm in town.

Cute coffee and tea place within walking distance from our hotel. Went around 7:30 and there were several people already there (mostly sitting outside). Cute indoor area (comes with a cat, which is adorable). Another customer brought her pug in- but both were well behaved. Decent pricing and quantity for drinks. I tried their summer special which was an iced americano with coconut cold foam. I am not a americano fanatic, but it was alright! I think I'd opt for a tea latte, regular latter, or cappuccino next time. They did have food options, but I didn't try any that day.

Do they have misters outside when it's hot?

    Is there convenient parking nearby?

Thanks for asking. There is a small parking lot in back off the alley. Also, before 3pm Film Bar, across the alley, allows people to park in their lot.

Do they have gluten free options?

We make amazing Superfood Breakfast Cookies a d Chia Pudding. They are both made without gluten, but our kitchen is not gluten free.

Hi, do you allow dogs (friendly) inside the cafe? and do you have any outlets outside, or are they just inside the cafe?

Sadly, it is a health department violation to have dogs inside, but we do have outlets on the outside. There is a door on the side that opens up directly to the counter and we can take your order from there and say "hi" to your pup.

    Do they take Apple Pay?

    No sorry!

The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

My husband ordered a mocha, which had that rich chocolatey depth without tasting too heavy, and our daughter chose an iced vanilla latte that was refreshing, creamy, and just as flavorful as the hot drinks. They also use frozen coffee cubes instead of ice cubes so as they melt the coffee doesn't dilute It's not often that everyone in the group agrees, but we all kept saying this was some of the best coffee we've had in a long time. What really stood out was the quality of the beans--smooth, rich, and full-bodied without any bitterness. You can tell they take their coffee seriously. We enjoyed it so much that we couldn't leave without grabbing a bag of their espresso beans to take home, which says a lot. They also offer a great selection of both ground and whole bean coffees sourced from Kona, Hawaii, which adds a unique touch you don't find everywhere. Overall, this was more than just a quick stop--it ended up being a highlight of our day. Definitely a place we'll be coming back to (and recommending to others).
