This spot has the best Chai Latte! I came in for a "coffee" meet up with friends, and while I don't partake in the "devils wake up juice", I know I'll find a Chai in most every coffee shop, but the real question is "Will it be good or not?". The barista was telling me about the ingredients, the syrups and milks they use and when I had my chance I interrupted and said " make this one as spicy as possible, please!!" and she knew what I meant. Without skipping a beat she pulled out the cinnamon and loaded it up all while disappointedly explaining to me that the syrup they use is actually the lesser of two spiced chai syrups offered by the manufacturer and that she was sad to see the other had gone a while ago (RIP even spicier chai latte). C'est la vie; I guess, this was still one tasty chai though. Now we're chatting about the tea and vanilla creamer I use at home, but be sure you use both a packet of Stash double chai as well as one Stash red dragon - it's the mix of both that really seal the deal for an at home chai and then use some of the vanilla oat milk creamer to get that at home chai latte-esq experience. We went our separate ways after giving up our own insights into the world of chai and her handing me the drink I was there for, but I still think about that chai latte from time to time. I spent the next hour or so prattling on with friends, commenting on about how the table fit all of us comfortably and the nice interior space of monorchid was big enough to fit us all without pushing out anyone else. Well, that and the state of world politics and how of course they would all fix everything if only ... Sorry, I dozed off a bit after they went on about fixing things from their current position as "Assistant to the Regional Manager" - or something akin to that title. We smack talked eachothers mommas, but in a respectful way. We challenged each other to feats of strength, but only with our thumbs, what are we barbarians?!? We parted ways in a draw because we will always live to fight another day while sipping a tasty Chai Latte because it's definitly better than your espresso, no the espesso is better, no my refreshing juice is better than both your espresso and chai latte. Only the most engaging debates for us quite noble thinkers at this coffee house and cafe! read more

Kahvi Coffee is located in the heart of Roosesvelt Row. I notice that most people don't seem to pay for the parking meters. I find that there's usually parking on 1st avenue. It's a spacious place that serves coffee, tea, sandwiches, and croissants. They have a bunch of long tables to sit in. It costs a $1 to add special syrup to any of your drinks. I had a classic club and a 160oz medium roast coffee with white chocolate syrup. This cost me $18.82. The food was great and so was my drink. Sometimes they play music a bit too loud for my tastes but otherwise, it's a good place to get a group together for some studying. read more

Phoenix, Nov, 2025. We had been exploring Roosevelt Row, and were looking for a place to grab a quick, informal lunch. We wandered into Kahvi, and found that they offer a food menu from 8:00 am - 3 pm. Ordering is done at the front register where the menu is on the wall. My husband ordered a tuna salad sandwich ($8), which is served on your choice of croissant, whole wheat or sourdough bread with lettuce, tomato, and pickle. He opted for the whole wheat. He was surprised, and a bit disappointed, that the sandwich was served open-faced without that fact having been indicated on the menu. I ordered the Turkey Supreme Sandwich ($11) on sourdough, which featured sliced turkey breast, Swiss cheese, avocado, lettuce and tomato. In both cases, the fillings were tasty and the bread was nicely toasted. Upgrades would be for the restaurant to use more nutritious romaine rather than iceberg lettuce, and to also provide a side dish. The sitting area is huge and industrial but still inviting, with a combination of long tables, couches, and chairs. Quite a few patrons were studying or working on their computers while drinking coffee. We didn't have much interaction with staff -- only with the young woman who efficiently took our order at the front. The restroom had cool artwork on the walls. read more

This is such a fun coffee shop / bar! It is so big and has plenty of space for studying and hanging out. The coffee I had was delicious and I loved all of the flavor options. They also had a delicious looking special menu that is seasonal. They have lots of fun activities for the community. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. My new favorite cafe to hang at! There's plenty of space with outlets at some of the tables. I love that there's a variety of seating from couches to chairs to bar seating to large work tables. They serve food and drinks and I got the matcha latte with oat milk. To be honest it didn't taste much like matcha but it did taste like the marshmallows from lucky charms!! So even though it's not matcha, it was still delicious and I will be ordering it again. Everyone there is super patient and sweet. They have a water refill station as well. The coffee hits the spot. I've had honey lavender, hazelnut, and vanilla lattes here. It does take them a bit to make the coffee, but the environment is cozy with many people working or chatting at one of the many tables. The food is hit or miss. I loved this spot! We were looking for coffee and I looked for a spot close by to our location and found this one. It's pretty unassuming from the outside but the space is so lovely on the inside. The staff was very friendly and the gal taking my our order made some helpful recommendations. We had hot chocolates, peppermint mocha, matcha tea and chai latte along with a scone. The drinks were perfect and we enjoyed them in the very cool interior. They must have events in this space. It certainly set up for it. We stopped by during the First Friday event and this place was busy. A lot of people were waiting for their drinks and the line went by quick. I don't remember what everybody else ordered but I ordered a White Mocha. There was only one guy making all the drinks and he was pushing out drinks pretty quickly. The food came out in about 15 minutes, though I could see the bow sitting on the kitchen counter for at least 5 minutes before they brought it -- the kitchen guy run the bell multiple times. C'mon guys -- get your acts together. The bowl comes with quinoa, butternut squash, hummus, avocado, cherry tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, and the Beyond Meat crumble (which was just a broken up Beyond burger). I got the pumpkin spice latte with oat milk, which came out quite quickly. The drink was ok -- I couldn't taste the pumpkin spice or much of the espresso, but the milk foam was really nice and creamy. I also felt the service was a bit lacking, as the cashier kept talking to their co-workers while taking my order and didn't seem super friendly.
