But, it is Dr. Kurzynske who makes one feel like a real person with real value with real issues. He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting. I am 60 years old, I have numerous advanced educational degrees and was not feeling too great. No other clients were in the lobby. I said "I did not come here to fight with you, I just want to be seen..." She didn't care. I was told to behave better or I would be ejected from their facilities! Well, I filled out the form, gave my payment to the clerk and clicked the pen on the counter. Wrong thing to do! Apparently I clicked the pen rudely. Those 2 whispered and huddled together and I was told to leave! I have been previously to this same facility with no problems. Staff and management change? One nurse took my blood pressure, about 5 minutes later about nurse came in to give me the test. She was very nice, asked a few questions.. swabbed the inside of my nose and checked the back of my throat. She said results should come back about 48 hours. I know it was already about 7:30pm when I finished. Their office closes at 8pm. The lady at the front desk did not give an invoice when I left. I give this location 3 stars for overall experience. It was a very clean lobby area but it did not feel welcoming.

I paid 130 dollars for him to try and scoot me out of the door with some imodium before ever listening to what issues I had, what food I had eaten or anything. I had to tell him that when I had appendicitis the cramping was far worse than this but this cramping pain is definitely not something I experience regularly. He brushed it off and said I should try the health department. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I won't take them until I can get tested for the parasite.

My only issue was I got their name off the Care Credit website as a provider who accepts this payment only to find when I got there that they don't accept it anymore. Not sure if it's their fault for not notifying Care Credit to remove them or if they did notify and Care Credit just hadn't removed them yet. Overall a good experience and if I need urgent care again I would probably use them again even though they aren't the closest to me. Would possibly even consider going to them for primary care if they provided it.

In addition, my experience with the nurse who drew my blood was very negative. She was rude and did not appear confident or skilled in performing the blood draw. Unfortunately, my concerns proved valid, she used the wrong tubes, which resulted in most of my lab work being canceled. This created unnecessary stress, delayed my care, and forced me to repeat labs that should have been done correctly the first time. Overall, I left feeling that the clinic is far more focused on collecting payment than on providing quality patient care. It is honestly concerning that they are able to treat patients privately without insurance given the level of service I experienced.
