Before we even get to the counter and say anything the "store manager" (male, picture attached) starts a rant along the lines of sorry but we don't take converse returns you have to do that online, blah blah blah. My bf brushed it off and goes to shop but we're both annoyed and find it ridiculous that a purchase made in store can't be returned in store. I can't find any policy online or on the receipt backing up this so called policy. Plus the fact that this so called manger didn't even wait for us to say anything before immediately turning us away was just horrible customer service. We called the store we made the purchase from and they tell us what we were told sounds ridiculous, they get our info and call the Howell store to clear up the issue. Within 10 minutes we get a call from the store manger, a female, apologizing and saying if we go back in the store they'll process the refund. Store is clean and organized, most of the employees seem helpful, but the one "store manager" ruined the experience with their horrible customer service.

I did buy a pink and white stripe polo shirt for my husband that wasn't on sale at all and was full priced at $79.99. I found some dark seer sucker shorts for my hubby, a white cotton pink and white white plaid short sleeve shirt, a pink and green polo and a navy, khaki and stone color shorts too. All told it was less than $500.

He wasn't able to find a new pair of gloves, but while he was looking i picked up two pairs of leggings for running- heat gear and cold gear. I also really like their cold gear lines that account for the fact that you might be working in varying degrees of cold weather and have varying activity levels in that weather. He has several shirts and a few pair of paints that make the cold winter days bearable. Considering it was -14 in Michigan today with a wind chill of -34, the proper clothing makes all the difference. The staff was friendly and helpful as well- I couldn't find the cold gear I was looking for at first so one of the ladies was able to help me find it.

These square plates have stood the test of time - used over and over, run through the dishwasher, dropped off the side of a deck (don't ask) and they still look like brand new. And now I am informed they have added items to the line - canisters, napkin holders, tumblers - oh my! I have to get back to this place. Also, the workers there are FABULOUS! SO helpful and knowledgeable - they make the visit that much more enjoyable.

He was so happy for me and my purchase and genuinely wanted to hear about how I was trying clothes outside of my comfort zone. Someone else mentioned that this didn't seem like an outlet and I agree. I didn't feel like there was a huge selection of clothes, but I also felt like what they did have was what every other American Eagle would have. They did have some good sales so I can't complain Too much. I love their jeans. They are so comfortable and they make some that are for curvy your bodies, which are perfect.

We were on a quest to find the very viral Snoopy Halloween items and they have been sold out at most of the other locations, never came in to some of the locations, and are sold out right now online. But luckily, we found the socks and the PJ's at this location. AE tends to be a bit pricy but the PJ's are so cute and soft and so are the socks. The people working here were beyond friendly and helpful and made the shopping experience delightful.
