I could use some new shoes for a work trip next month and I ended up getting a very comfy pair of Clarks sandals - my trip is in CA so they should be useful. They were a bit pricey, about $70 and then 20% off because it was clearance, but for Clarks that isn't terrible. They came in size 7.5 wide which was awesome too - since I have a wide foot, it's usually really hard for me to find comfortable shoes. FYI, this location does not have a bathroom, but I imagine TJ Maxx across the plaza probably would have one. The Novi DSW does have one but I've been finding that most DSW locations do not.

We were able to find them both matching vests for the cold weather - cute, I know! The store layout and sale racks were pretty organized, something I LOVE about big sales going on. I'm way more likely to stay and make a purchase when I can actually find the items. The reason this EB gets 5 stars from me, though, is because of the store associate, David. When we were checking out, it seemed that the coupon my mom had wasn't going through, likely due to the fact that she hadn't used her EB credit card in a while and that it may have lapsed *facepalm*. David offered to open a new card for her which would include an extra 10% off the purchase! However, corporate still had her credit card on file and just needed to reactivate it...so 10 minutes and a phone call later, the card got reactivated. While he didn't have to, David kept the extra 10% off the purchase! That's the kind of customer service we all dream about. Thanks, David from EB - you get 5/5 stars from me!

In the windows of Eddie Bauer there was a sign that the entire store was 40 % off. Clearance items were 50% off the marked down price. The sales staff was pleasant with helping us directing us to the various places they had men's raincoats which were everywhere. No one spot something I disliked but a good sales pitch because I passed by a top and that I liked and of course bought. When we were ready to purchase the items we were told if I signed up for the reward program I would receive another 10% off the purchase. Great deals.

I just didn't want to pay what it costs and wanted a more cropped version because I am so short wasted. After seeing one as I was in the parking, I came in. Of course being a clothes horse female who had to get rid of 2/3 of her wardrobe in my downsizing move. I looked for a zip up hoodie and found a cute one with a good price and in my size. Sales representative named Ann helped me chose the right size top that was flattering for my body type. The store being brand new SPARKLED and there was no dirt or scuff marks anywhere. The dressing rooms were immaculate. It was a fabulous experience shopping there. The store currently only sells women's fashion and accessories but in the future may sell men's travel bags and accessories. MK is a wonderful addition to the Tanger Outlets family. Two thumbs up. I've shopped at many other MK stores across the country, both regular and outlet and this location is one of the better ones.

At Christmas time, I was able to get my dad, my nephew and my brother-in-law a beautiful 100% silk scarf for $10 each. I almost cried because I never have much of a budget and the men are always the hardest for me to shop for because there's not much you can get with $10, especially for a classy men like these. They always make a big deal out of my gifts and are very grateful because they know I can't afford much. But, this year, It made me so proud to be able to get them each something that they can wear and think of me. All three of them have worn their scarves each time I have seen them and they love them! I also found a nice fleece-lined beanie hat for my husband. She didn't say much of anything to me which I get it you are having a bad day and don't want to talk. But when the other 2 in my group came up and asked for her to honor a lower price on the same item she sighed and was like "I can get a manager to do that if you're gonna be mad about it." Then she didn't even do it right. My group went back up because they wanted the money off and she made another comment about us needing gas money. Real nice. My group all works in customer service jobs so we weren't being annoying even from the beginning.
