We were able to find them both matching vests for the cold weather - cute, I know! The store layout and sale racks were pretty organized, something I LOVE about big sales going on. I'm way more likely to stay and make a purchase when I can actually find the items. The reason this EB gets 5 stars from me, though, is because of the store associate, David. When we were checking out, it seemed that the coupon my mom had wasn't going through, likely due to the fact that she hadn't used her EB credit card in a while and that it may have lapsed *facepalm*. David offered to open a new card for her which would include an extra 10% off the purchase! However, corporate still had her credit card on file and just needed to reactivate it...so 10 minutes and a phone call later, the card got reactivated. While he didn't have to, David kept the extra 10% off the purchase! That's the kind of customer service we all dream about. Thanks, David from EB - you get 5/5 stars from me!

In the windows of Eddie Bauer there was a sign that the entire store was 40 % off. Clearance items were 50% off the marked down price. The sales staff was pleasant with helping us directing us to the various places they had men's raincoats which were everywhere. No one spot something I disliked but a good sales pitch because I passed by a top and that I liked and of course bought. When we were ready to purchase the items we were told if I signed up for the reward program I would receive another 10% off the purchase. Great deals.

Even if I was older or had kids, the clothes still wouldn't be upmarket or unique enough for me and I dislike the 'higher end' price tag on items that decidedly are not high end or even mid range luxury. They have a fun selection of purses, well organized by color. They have budget brands all the way to Frye and Coach (etc). Clothing ranges for budget to better brands, I have not noticed high end clothing brands, but I'm also not looking for them. I'm always pleasantly surprised by the large selection of sizes, said another way.... Not everything is a silly small. Lastly - the clothing and body care items are newer and nicer than I have seen at other stores like this. Lots of parking and you can find someone to help you if needed. While it is located in a very busy area, if you take 12 Mile, you can avoid most of the back up traffic. Since it is larger, but not as large as the one near Southland Mall which is 2 story, it can carry more items and have 2 sets of registers going so you don't have to wait so long. I do enjoy their sales and 30% off coupon, but returning Amazon stuff also gets me out here. Snicky I think.
