I was told you are Andrew's Father? I want you to know that your Son terribly cheated me on his service... He took advantage of me as I have cancer and it's very hard for me to travel to Temple to be at the home he serviced.. He charged me $2,000 and myself with all my neighbors that came to look at the job were shocked how little he cut on the trees.. It was like we couldn't even tell he was there! I go go into a lot of detail about how bad he cheated me. I called him, sent him numerous emails asking for him to go back and make it right for the $2,000. Basically what ended up happening is he charged me about $500 per limb is what it appears. If he was an honest guy, he would go back and do $2,000 worth or at very least give me a 50% refund.. I am 100% certain, anyone else would have charged me about $500 total for what Andrew did! My rental home that he serviced is on Sterling Dr. in Temple.. Andrew seems to have an attitude of a great deal of arrogance and ignores people's calls after he takes the money and runs away! Such a crook! - I hope you can talk to that boy and square him away as obviously, he was not raised right. I am a senior citizen with cancer. I have never had anyone cheat me so bad like this in my 70 yrs of life. read more

I am so pleased to be able to give this review for Jody's Tree Service. I live in Michigan, but have rental property in Copperas Cove, Texas. I had a number of very large oak trees, and a large pecan tree, that had large limbs growing over the roof of the rental home. My insurance company saw the overhanging tree limbs and required them to be removed. I was given 30 days to find someone to do the job, have it completed, and document the work to the insurance company. No easy task when you are 1,400 miles away. Jody was recommended to me. I contacted him, and sent him pictures of the house and trees. He went to look at the job, promptly called me back, gave me a very fair estimate, and told me exactly how the job would be done. He completed the work safely, within my required time line, took care to preserve the trees, and left the job site very clean. he also sent pictures of the completed work. This was not an easy job, as these were very large trees. He is very good at what he does, and is an honest, ethical businessman. I would highly recommend him for any tree work you need done. read more

We had two 45' dead trees in our back yard. One had already broken in half and narrowly missed hitting our roof, and the other one was even closer to the house. We were very concerned, since the forecast called for more wind! When we told Jody that we are seniors on a fixed budget, he said he would work with us and came right on out. Our back yard is small, and Jody and his crew only had a narrow space to lay those trees down, without hitting something. They did it with amazing precision and quickly! When they finished hauling out the cut up trees, they raked up and removed the bark and debris. Amazingly, our yard was back to normal in no time! Jody and his crew were very friendly and seemed to really care about what they do. One of his men, Brandon, even removed a huge bush for us, without charge. We will definitely call them again for tree and landscape work and will recommend them to our neighbors and family. read more

I honestly cannot say enough great things about Jody's Tree Service. They did an excellent job on all of our trees, and even pruned our Lady Banks Rose very nicely. The workers were friendly and professional, and seemed very knowledgeable as to how and why the pruning needed to be done. Jody himself came when the job was nearly complete, probably to check on the work, and see if I had any questions. I appreciated that, because it added a personal touch to his business, and it gave me even more confidence in his work. He and his workers seemed to genuinely care about our trees, and even gave advice regarding their future growth. We love our yard, and so its wonderful to find a company who cares about it too. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. His education and experience were apparent as he answered my many questions about all the different trees in my yard. Very prompt, and extremely hardworking. Absolutely fair rates (and I had done my homework.) Trees that have been too long neglected are now looking great and are healthier than ever. Of the many things that impressed me, here are but two: 1) he used a clean blade for each tree to guard against even the least chance of infection being transmitted from one to another and 2) boy, was it a kick watching them scurry up and down tall trees. Had a 35+ ft tall DEAD cottonwood tree in a very precarious position between a house and a fence, near power lines. Jody and his team managed to get the tree down, the area cleaned up, and the debris set out for pick up. It was quite a project and Jody and his team were terrific. They were very professional and good to work with. In addition, Jody and his team cleared my other trees from the power lines and I couldn't tell the trees had been cut. They still looked lovely and full. I had to actually look at the power lines to tell the tree limbs had been removed. I would not hesitate to use Jody and his team again. P.S. I don't know what this other guy's issue is . . . but I never saw anything like that while working with Jody. read more

I have used Jody's Tree Service several times over the past year for both removal and pruning. The first time, they removed 3 large photinias, ground the stumps, and removed the brush in less than 2 hours. They were professional, quick, and very thorough. The next time, they pruned my hackberry tree's branches away from the house. I was very pleased with the outcome and the cost! Jody is the first one I think of when I need tree work done! BTW, I was surprised by Chad W.'s comments because I was not aware that Jody worked in San Antonio area, and also because he is always prompt on appointments, responsive to emails and phone calls, and true to his quotes. Jody and his crew did an outstanding job on my yard. He went above and beyond what I expected and asked for. He committed to a price that was fair to the both of us but beat the price others quoted. He is very knowledgeable about lawn care and educated me on the care of my lawn and trees so that I can better manage my yard myself. His crew is so kind and respectful. They cleaned up well and left everything in amazing shape. I will use him for everything I can't seem to manage or if it gets out of control. I had an area of bag worms on one of my pecan trees. I'm at the age where I'm too unsteady doing work on a ladder anymore. I called Jody's Tree Service and asked if they could help. They raised the canopy of a very overgrown Bradford pear tree, trimmed our pecan tree, a palm tree and cedar tree, cut down a dead tree and hauled it all to our burn pit. I have used "Jody's Tree Service" for years ever since Andrew was about 15 years old. I have had them remove a couple of trees, one being a hazardous take down and the other was dead. Jody has removed limbs and branches on the remaining trees. He does such fantastic work and is extremely prompt. I never use any one but "Jody's Tree Service". Very prompt reply to my email request. I had a very tight timeline to get the work done and Jody never have any hesitation about being available to when I had the opening.
