I messaged Joe Cooper about trading out of my current vehicle which is brand new and Andrea Robertson was the person who contacted me and when I told her how much I still owed she replied with lol and never replied again. I personally have worked in the car industry 20 years and have never had such a response from a company. I know I will be upside down and have to carry some negative equity but apparently she doesn't know or care about how that works. I've lived in Yukon for 8 years and don't plan to ever move so Joe Cooper will have a long time running bad reputation from this non customer.

So, I tried to do this the nice way, because I have been doing business with Joe Cooper Ford of Yukon since I bought my current vehicle years ago and like the people there, but I'm beyond annoyed at this point. I went in last week to have my car serviced and was literally robbed, because I was in a hurry and didn't take the time to read the invoice before I paid. The first thing I told them was that I needed the back passenger side tire patched. The I needed an oil change and the battery checked. They called me 10 min later and said there were $1,400 in needed maintenance, the brakes and battery were shot, the filters all needed replaced and all the fluids needed flushed. I told them to fix the brakes, battery, change the oil, change the filters, and patch the tire - and that was it, the rest could wait. They said it would be $600 to $700. Fine. I get back 2 hours later, and the bill was $1,000. I was annoyed but paid and left. Two minutes after I left, the tire pressure light and alert went off, but I had to take my mom to a doctors appointment and didn't have time to go back at that moment. But after I got my car from the valet at the hospital, the back passenger side tire - same one as before - was really low on air. I thought that was strange as on the invoice it showed they rotated the tires - this got me concerned. That's when my friend went over the invoice line by line and found even more problems. The invoice showed that when the original test on the battery was done it registered as good, yet they told me it need replace and they replaced it. It show that the rotors were resurfaced and then replace - why would they do both - and that I was charge labor for both. Clearly was dealing with a padded invoice and unneeded replacement, as well as a tire rotation that didn't actually happen. It's as if they clocked the clueless gay dude as soon as I walked into the day. So, I called the next day and spoke to the service tech who took care of the car. He tried to convince me that all was correct and that "when brakes are that bad, the the rotors have to be resurfaced and replaced." And that the battery test was from "after it was replaced," which was clearly a lie. After admitting that I was overcharged for labor, he said "well if you had mentioned it before you swiped your card we could have fixed it." At that point I told him that I wasn't paying for his mistake and he invited me to come back to the dealership and speak to his manager. When speaking to the manager I only contested the labor charge for the resurfacing when the rotors were actually replaced. I decided I would need a new battery at some point and that there was no need to cause further issues. The manager also blamed the charges on "those girls," meaning the cashiers. Well, this wasn't true, I watched them ask the techs to close their tickets. The misogyny in this annoyed me. When all was said and done, the manager said the reimbursement check would be cut Monday - yesterday - when "Mr. Cooper" signed it, and they would call me. Well, the manager texted yesterday and said the check wasn't ready yet. I went by at 5 PM and he got annoyed and told me he would text me when it was ready. He has yet to call, after everything else, I'm more annoyed and feel I'm being given the run around. At the end of the day, beware of Joe Cooper Ford in Yukon. I'll be calling my acquaintance Scott Hines at KFOR-TV to see if this is a regular occurrence. See the annotated invoice attached.

The only issue we did have was due to the gentleman in finance (Kirk, I honestly do not remember his last name).

I went to a dozen or so local dealers for test drives and to whittle down which vehicle I wanted, and most were just too pushy for my liking, working the "good old boy" angle way too hard. Westpointe struck the right balance of wanting my business, but not stalking me. I've yet to use their service department, but will update my review as I do. I'm a very critical person, and honestly it'd be 4.5 stars if that were an option. My only very minor gripe being communication lapses which weren't 100% their fault, but the dealer who traded them the car. They sent the wrong 2nd key fob. The sales manager kept telling my salesman the correct one was on its way and arriving any day now, when the other dealer didn't mail it for almost 2 weeks.

The Joe Cooper website needs to be more transparent, especially on new vehicle rebates and the 0% interest rate offer. We went Thursday to buy a jeep, and found out the rebates advertised online would not be part of the deal. The rebates online are not itemized, so if you see $5000 in rebates, they can change the number to anything they like. We were told 1000s of the rebates were only if you owned quarter horses, even though their website doesn't state anything about that. The sale prices in the dealership and online were changed multiple times. Online , on their own website it showed 39144, the prices in person skyrocketed to 57,000 and after hours it finally went down to 40k. The website price changed three times while we were at the dealership, so we started taking screenshots every hour, wish I had the original one. They even attempted to gouge us at 11.5% interest even though we were pre-approved for much lower and have tier one credit. Extremely insulting comments were also made by the last finance guy in Yukon we dealt with. It was beyond insulting to have some moron attempt to speak Spanish with me. Although I can speak multiple languages, my wife can not. If I wanted to speak Spanish, Italian, or any other language I would move to a country where those are the primary languages. As a veteran, I found it extremely unprofessional. The fact no member of management from yukon has reached out since, tells me it is a common practice by them. We will not purchase any other vehicles from them, or ever use them for maintenance again. I recommend avoiding them.

Girl at pay booth was pushy and would not take no for an answer when I told her I wanted a single wash instead of a membership. She was leaning into my car and I had to tell her no 5 times before she finally took my card and let me pay for a single time wash. Then she acted mad about it. I almost backed out and left.
