Dr. Joe Gibson has been practicing orthodontics in Morristown, TN since 1987. He enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of his patients, and finds that helping patients understand and achieve their orthodontic goals to be a very rewarding experience. Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Joe G.

Dr. Gibson is a native of Morristown and has lived here most of his life. Dr. Gibson graduated with honors from Carson-Newman in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then began his dental career at the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis. He graduated UT with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1985. He attended graduate school at The University of Tennessee Orthodontic Program and received his Masters of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1987. Dr. Gibson has been in solo private practice in Morristown since 1987. In an effort to keep up with the ever changing world of orthodontics and technology, Dr. Gibson regularly attends numerous training and educational seminars. He was an adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University from 2012 until 2016 and is presently an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee Orthodontic Program in Memphis.
