Husband went here today on recommendation from a buddy and was pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety of items offered here. He was only there for coveralls to use while working on his car or doing chores around the house but took interest in the wall of Vans and other shoes including work boots, "every style of Levi's imaginable, even the hard to find old styles," and the cowboy hats, and baseball style caps. Clean, well organized, and well stocked store. Amazing customer service, everyone was welcoming and helpful. Purchased a few pairs of pants for my Father in law. They were too short, and he needed a 34 inseam. When I brought them back, we discovered they didn't carry they length. My dad has been shopping here for years ever since I was 10 . The selection of clothing is crazy, my dad usually buys pants from them , and it always lasts 5 years , he never gets 1 single rip . The boots are amazing as well . The only problem is that this store is super expensive, but I'd say it's worth it because you're getting quality stuff here . This is probably the nicest clothing store in Lodi by far in terms of size, cleanliness and stock. But, they fail in terms of customer service. As with most brick and mortar stores these days service is all but nonexistent. The staff was polite when I walked in and said hello. But as far as spending more than literally 5 to 10 seconds pointing at where the hats I was looking for were located, they couldn't be bothered. There were many more staff standing around the store than customers. I suppose because I look a little rough around the edges they treat me as such. Here's some advice. Tell your staff not to assume someone can't afford your products just because they're not clean and well dressed. Tell your staff to stop leaning on the clothing racks and engage with customers completely. The quick answer they want to give, one that gets them away from the customer and produces as little work for themselves is unacceptable. I can not only afford anything in your store, I could buy the entire store. Assume instead intelligence. Talking about customer service, teaching customer service, is not what it takes. It takes demanding customer service with each and every customer. Those that can't should be fired instantly. The half a dozen guys standing around your store are not entitled to the job. It's a privilege not an entitlement to work at such a beautiful establishment. I hope the owner doesn't show this to the staff. I don't want them to cry or have to call their mothers. read more

Wow! This place is awesome! We just moved to Lodi and I can not express enough what great customer service! My fiancé went in here the first day we moved to check it out and kept talking about how nice the owner was and how they have his size in things (4xl) he's a big guy so work clothes are hard to come by! The owner said if he didn't carry his size he would gladly order it! We went today for a pair of work boots- left with a whole lot more. They have a great selection of work attire, skate brands, sunglasses, hats, etc. I totally wasn't expecting everything in there to be there. So cool- something for the whole family. They are ordering a pair of sandals for me that they didn't have in my size, totally not necessary but super cool of them! We bought a large amount of stuff and the owner let my fiancé pick out a shirt on him because he appreciated our business! WHAT?! Seriously how cool is that! I was looking for a pair of KSwiss shoes and had gone to several shoe stores in at the mall in Stockton and no one had them. I came into Joe Hassan's and they didn't have them in my size but were able to order them for me. It only took a few days for the shoes to arrive and they gave me a call to let me know they had arrived. They had ordered two different sizes for me to try on too! Love that they were able to order them unlike the shoes stores in Stockton. All the staff are super friendly! First, let me say, this is really more like a four and a half star. Joe Hassan's has been around since I was a kid and has always been the go-to source for work wear. They have a large selection of jeans and work shirts including Levi's, Wrangler, Carhartt, Dickie's, and Ben Davis. They also have a HUGE selection of work boots including Danner, which are kinda hard to find in this area. Their cowboy boot and hats collection are also pretty extensive. They have a really good selection of work wear here, from boots to carhart beanies. I'm an electrician and was able to find some Ariat boots that are perfect for my needs. The salesperson explained how to find the right fit for me, and even threw in some leather conditioner at checkout for me. I'll be back soon for those overalls I had my eye on. On a side note, as a woman who works in construction it's rare that I get to feel like "just another customer" when buying things for work. So for the staff to treat me like my needs and concerns were just as valid as anyone else's, to not blink an eye when I asked for something, and go the extra mile to help me find what I need really meant a lot to me.
