The girls working on the floor were very friendly and kind great customer service. The management was horrible we purchased more than a thousand in gifts for our family and many pairs of boots and the store manager was shaking through the boots and things the girl had rang up as if we were hiding things inside of them. I love Boot Barn! The staff are always friendly and helpful and they have a great selection of styles and sizes.

Only one person up at register and there was a big family in front of me and there was another lady that was just standing up at the registers and trying to look busy by putting a binder away and moving cash tills around and then after 10 minutes finally called us to her register and then did not even have a friendly attitude and when I left she did not even say have a nice day or anything will never be coming back to this un-organized staff management. Hell even the Stockton boot barn is better than this would give 0 stars but that's not possible. read more

First time coming here and I had no idea what I was needing to get. But thanks to the employees here who helped me. They were very helpful when considering boot sizes for my son. The selection they had was awesome too. My son has been trying to wear his cowboy outfit almost everyday lol he also never complained about his feet hurting when he was wearing the boots all day at the festival so this is a extremely big plus ! During this shopping day started with the phone. I ended up being helped by Daniel. He was able to answer my questions in boots then let me to come in. In being helped by Daniel again thankfully he was able to locate what we needed which was a hard to find boot. Ended up buying some shirts and a pair of jeans. Didn't expect to have this level of help in these days of young or older person just punching a clock. He was able to go around the store with what was needed with out hesitation instead of "I don't know just look over there" If it wasn't for that most likely nothing would have been purchased. First off I understand we as a country are in a pandemic and everyone is trying to obey the new orders that have been set in place to stop the spread of Covid 19. However, the edict of the manager today was inappropriate. I understand there are essential employees like myself and fiance. She came up to myself and fiance and basically told us to leave because essential employees needed to get their items. Yes I was with my children,whom were by either my side or fiance's side throughout the store. I told her we are essential and needed to get boots for ourselves. She rambles on stating the store doesn't need to be open for people who are just trying to get out of the house. I pop off with some smart comment and she ends up walking away, but as she walks away she says loudly, WOW. That's when I lost it. Here I am trying to get the items I need(that I didn't even purchase) and while I'm trying to support a Lodi store that I come to regularly. She was the manager for the day I'm assuming. But being rude and not knowing a single thing about my life was unacceptable. I was hoping to come in and have a decent time with some smiling faces, but I was proven otherwise. I went in needing some outfits for a trip to Mexico, a young gentlemen with dyed blonde hair helped me pick out some jeans for my husband, he was so nice and very helpful. He gave me his honest opinion and recommendations, which were perfect, my husband loved the clothes. I did return a dress I bought because I couldn't wear it on my trip due to the weather and during the return he was by the register and asked me how my husband liked the jeans, he followed up even though he was not doing my return. This store does bait and switch the sign says one thing then you go to the register and they ring it up different , the sign says one thing and they argue with you that your wrong, I got a pair of jeans that were supposed to be 21.99 according to the sign, and they wrong them up as 39.99 and argued with me. And instead of honoring what the sign said they just wanted to argue and make excuses . Needless to say I did not buy the jeans. read more

Finally some guy came over, asked if anyone helped my boyfriend & I. Really dude... you saw us walking around & didn't even bother to see if we needed help. This is the second time we've gone to boot barn, and have a had horrible service. The girl's there act like they don't want to help you. My son had saved his money to buy a new pair of shoe's he waited in line just for the girl to tell 'oh we don't have those' and said she could help the next person. Wtf he had the shoe is his hand she never even tried to help him until I went up there then she offered to help order them by then he was fed up with the rude ass employees so we left. Let me start off by saying if there was another boot barn in my area, I would go there any day instead of this one. The only reason I'm even giving it a star in the first place (not like I have a choice) is because they have what my boyfriend, son, and I are looking for most of the time. However, the lack of stars is because of the following: customer service. Don't get me wrong, some of the workers here are absolutely amazing and helpful (once we ask them for help) but a majority of them are HORRIBLE. Most of the time we spend an hour looking around and no one even bothers to ask us if we need help looking for something, which in most cases we do. And it's not like it's busy when we go in, so there's plenty of workers to help us. But the main reason that inspired me to write this review is because of my experience tonight. We go in, no one offers to help us (shocker) and we find what we're looking for. Boots for my son and a jacket for me. Boom. Done. Register time. Our cashier was friendly enough, but it seemed like he might've been new. We wanted to use our $25 off of $100 coupon that we earned when we spent over $450 a couple weeks ago on work boots/clothes for my boyfriend. Turned to find out, it expired YESTERDAY. One day. Yes I know, it technically is expired but given that my boyfriend and I have some really hectic work schedules and we're good/loyal customers, a good manager would've allowed us to use the coupon this one time. That's how it goes in retail (I would know, I've worked at many retail shops over the last few years). The cashier asked what I'm assuming was a manager of some sort to see if she would allow it because he initially said no as well, and I asked if there was any way he could honor it, and she took one good long look at us and said "No." That's literally all she said. Very, very rude. And the cashier was kind of shocked as well because he stuttered and said "I guess there's nothing we can do". My boyfriend and I were a little irritated by that point, and so was my 2 year old son. So we just purchased what we had and left the store. When I got home, I called BootBarn customer service and the lady I spoke to said she would've taken off my $25 if it was an online order. She said she has no control over the store unfortunately and she has no idea why they wouldn't honor it. I told her I'm unfortunately going to have to return my jacket and buy it elsewhere (amazon has it for $20 cheaper). I know it's a far-fetched theory, but I'm pretty sure my boyfriend and I were racially profiled. We don't use that term lightly, but after tonight and our past experiences, we came to that conclusion. Overall, awesome corporation, awesome products, it's just the people at this specific location that makes it bad. read more

So i have bought my last 2 pair of boots from this store. They have lots of different boots to choose from for work. The reason i am giving them 2 stars is because the last two times i visited this store, i was in the store at least 20-30 mins and not once was i approached to help. The workers literallly would walk near me but never offer any help. i would walk around in hopes that they would ask if i needed some help but it seemed like the employees were in their own personal world. Once i was at the register, the employee still had the balls to ask me if anyone had helped me, which i said NO. i really like this store because of its boots but they're employees need to be retrained on how to treat their customers read more
