Had my wife's vehicle repaired here, the repairs were ok. When we went in to pick up the car, we offered to pay the whole sum of the bill, as we had been paid by our insurance. The lady at the desk told us we did not owe the whole amount our insurance had paid us. My wife asked this woman many times if she was sure. We let the money sit in our bank account just in case: $1789.20, to be exact. Fast forward 3 months to January 2025, we get a letter from our insurance saying they overpaid us by $1789.20, and we also started getting calls from Joe Hudson that we owe them $1,789.20, surprise, surprise!! So know we have two sides of this saying we owe them money. We told Joe Hudson that we would need to clear this up with the insurance first, the overpayment letter, and then we would pay them. We aren't going to pay both sides. 2 days later, we get things cleared up with the insurance. On that same day, we get threatening phone calls from the Joe Hudson regional manager, Wilson Gardner, saying he's going to send us to collections if it's not paid that day. My wife tried speaking with him, so that he knew the whole situation but he just wanted to be an asshole the whole time and accuse her of trying to withhold money that we owed them. We tried to pay the whole bill at vehicle pick up, as I stated earlier. It's not our job to keep calling and asking if you want the money yet. Because of Wilson's actions, we will most definitely not return to this shop or recommend it to anyone. The individuals who work here will say one thing, and then proceed to nickel and dime you till they are blue in the face. They even take your car for casual drives to go get food for themselves. Absolutely disappointing service. I dropped my vehicle off at Bob's Paint and Auto Body 1 month and 6 days ago to have my windshield replaced and my hood and side panels repainted for rock chips. They have now delayed when I should expect my vehicle back three times. I still don't have it back. First, they were waiting for the windshield, that was the second week they had it. Then, two weeks later, apparently the only technician who can repaint my vehicle got COVID. Now that the technician is back, they just find out that they ordered the wrong windshield. Absolutely ridiculous. The cherry on top is they refuse to pay for a rental car, despite they delay they have created. Funny enough, only 15.4 hours of labor went into the vehicle repair in total, which they still haven't completely finished in the past 1 month and 6 days. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. read more

In october of 2023 I had been in an accident that caused my rear axel to become misaligned along with some damage to the driver side rear of my car. I had previously been to Bob's Auto Body for other service to my car in the past and had gotten speedy service. However, this time I had to wait over three months to get my car back. The repair was completed well, but the time frame is just unacceptable. I could understand maybe up to six weeks, but more than three months is too long to be out of a car. read more

I've been a customer of Bob's paint and auto body in Columbus Mississippi for a number of years. The results have always been flawless and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure my vehicle is ready when I pick it up and that the quality level is where it needs to be. As of today I am no longer a customer. They called me to tell me my vehicle was ready, when I went to pick it up I immediately notice the rear hatch was misaligned to the body. I went out and asked for someone to come out and look and they said they would take care of it. They called me back the next day and said it was ready so I took off work. When I got there and lifted the hatch to inspect the work I noticed several scratches and a trim panel popped off the rear hatch. It had been held on with hot glue. The clips were obviously broken off. The quality that was at Bob's towing and auto body is no more. I cannot recommend them to anyone unfortunately. read more

I was referred to Bobs after I totaled my Jeep Wrangler. Tom over at Bobs came to my house to inspect my car and sat with me for a long time as he went over every detail of the process of fixing it. He was very friendly and made the entire experience very enjoyable. Their shop is very clean and organized and everyone there is extremely friendly. They encouraged me to stop in anytime to check on the progress of my jeep and we're always welcoming when I did. My Jeep looks fantastic and the price was very reasonable. This is my first time using this body shop and I am very disappointment in the service that I received. I contacted them regarding my 2005 Ford Mustang that got hit on the passenger side from the door and all the way down. Before the car went to the body shop, the shop and state farm was informed of the issue with the car cutting off after it got hit. I was concern that it was the fuel pump. I wouldn't have let them tow a car that was drivable. My son drove the car after it was hit and started cutting off when he stops. After the car was tow, I spoke with Haley and another gentleman over there regarding making sure the car is checked to see if something happened to the fuel pump during the accident. The claim adjuster had me on hold while he contacted Bob's to make sure it was addressed. I was contacted on April 26 by Haley stating the car was ready. I addressed the issue again about the car cutting off. I was told that they did a diagnostic on the car and it didn't show anything but the anti-theft light on. I picked up the car on April 27 and when I got there the mustang decal was not on the right side. I was told they could not find it. I informed them that I had to pay for it last time and I am not going to pay for it again. I told them that I got it from Ford and they called to see if they could get it put on. I took the car home and it stopped the next day. I called over there upset because I have said this several times. They pulled the car on April 28 and sent it to Ford. Haley stated that she will contact the insurance company to let them know what is going on. I received a call from Ford asking did I drop the car off there. I informed them that Bob's Paint & Auto Body did and they needed to contact them. The mechanic at Ford stated that they don't work on cars that is older than 15 years old. I did not hear from Bob's on what happen with Ford. I contacted them this morning and no answer. I contacted the claim adjuster with State Farm to let them know what was going on. She contacted the company and found out they didn't do things correctly with the supplement damage. I was told by the claim adjuster that the last conversation they had with Bob's was on August 21 letting them know the car would be ready by the 25th. I was told today that Bob was supposed to do a supplement damage before they send the car any where. The adjuster informed me that things were not done correctly. She stated with her conversation with John that car was picked up and back at the shop awaiting to find a place to go to fix it. I received a call from Haley letting me know what is going on and when I stated that if things would have been done correctly this wouldn't have happened. She stated that I was screaming at her on the phone because I stated facts. I was then told that the car was at In and Out with a diagnosis. I was not informed that In and Out fixed the car until I went there to pick up the car. They went to Ford and pick the car up and fixed it without no one informing me. I was told by In and Out that Bob called and stated they needed the car to be checked out and did not state anything about the car being hit on the side of the fuel pump. I was also told that In and Out picked up the car instead of the lies that were told to the claim adjuster this morning that they picked up the car. I went to pick up the car and had to pay out $350. I have been told so many lies with this company and getting the run around. This has been the first and last experience I will have with this company. I still don't have the decal on the right side of the car. They were unprofessional and lack communication skills. The company should have communicated better with me, the insurance company, Ford, and In and Out. I will be filling a report on this company. read more

I had a great experience with Bob's Paint and Auto Body. I moved cross country in my little Prius, and the roof rack I used had scraped off some paint. There was also a small scratch I had for quite a while and had always bothered me. They worked with me and said they'd do the best they could without repainting an entire panel. If I wasn't satisfied, they would put that money towards fixing the whole panel. For the price of a complete detail, they fixed the paint chip and the scratch. No one would ever know there was damage! I was very very pleased. Pleasant staff, efficient service, honest about expected results and pricing up front. Found by word of mouth. We took my wife's mustang to have the leather door panels re-adhered on the worst door. They took a look and quoted me a very reasonable price to do both doors. It was actually what I expected to pay for one. When we picked the car up, the job was excellent and they also fixed a small peel of leather on the drivers seat at no extra charge, and tidied up a rally stripe on the hood free also. Excellent work, and customer service. Needless to say I will use Bobs for all my future paint and body work. Hard to find this kind of shop in this day and age. Highly recommend! read more

I didn't deal with Bob's directly, but my two front wheels on my Cadillac CTS-V were scratched by a tire shop recently in which the owner of that shop made good to have them repaired. Bob's is who he used and when I say these wheels have never looked better that's an understatement. I'm an extremely meticulous person and I couldn't tell where the damage was previously. Now if only my back ones looked as fresh and new. Hopefully they don't stand out too bad once they're cleaned of all the brake dust. Great work these guys do. Top notch work, I plan to bring the chrome parts and pieces on my car to them to be painted as well. read more
