They fixed my car window and door damage after my car got broken into, and they took the extra time and effort to find me a used glass replacement to save me $100 and adjust a slightly damaged part instead of replacing it to save me another $100. The truck has served me pretty well, with the only issue was it began having extremely noisy leaf springs. After replacing them with new GM leaf springs ($900) at Dewey Barber Chevrolet the noise came back in a few months ---- no difference. $900 down the hole. I learned online this is a common GM fault the company will NOT fix. I fixed it myself eventually with some Spring Things I bought for $45 online. Quite as it should be now. The 5.3 engine started having lifter "tick" sound at startup, then went away. I've pretty much solved this issue by changing oil every 3k rather than go by the computer on the dashboard. The real issue I had with Bill Smith service dept was I was in Arab, AL and the motor started the loud ticking sound and the oil pressure went to almost 0. I limped it in to Bill Smith in Cullman. They told me "it has little or no oil in it". Surrre..They told me the engine could be damaged and could possibly need a new one. I drove it home. I changed oil and filter myself the next day. That was about 6 years ago. Still driving it today and does not burn oil. What happened?....and why?....I'll never know. So...I have very mixed feelings about the service department. I've used Dewey Barber Chevrolet just down the road from them and an independent mechanic I trust ever since then for routine service things with no problems from them. Would I let them service my vehicle if I had a serious problem? Probably No. Would I buy from them again? Probably No because of the above issue.

Jason Preuitt said he looked for me and couldn't find me and i was in the same room as he was. So he made the call to fix it called me a liar because I didn't tell him I went to bbq joint. Regardless of I went there or not. He saw me in the waiting room but continued to fix car . He never said one word to me while in waiting room. I probably would have just let it go. They recommended me switching to the Keanu Reeves voice on my app as a more dependable navigator. They were correct John Wick knew his roads and 4 days later I was in jacksonville. 5 stars.

When Saturday morning arrived, we learned that the town where we were stuck, pretty much shuts down on the weekends. So, we drove a bit out of the way to McGriff Tire Pros with the tire in tow. Score! Not only did they have our sized tire in stock, but the price was lower than what we expected. They were very courteous and worked quickly. We were in and out within an hour. Although it wasn't the place where I wanted to visit at the start of my vacation, I was appreciative they were there and open on a Saturday.
