A&E auto body has been doing all my repairs to my vehicles over the years except for 1 time. That 1 time I had another shop that the insurance recommended, and that shop did a horrible job. I swore I would not take any future vehicles to any other shop than A&E after that. Low and behold my wife backed into a telephone pole and did minor damage to the rear of our vehicle. I took it to A&E and they got to work on it. It did take about a month to get it done but this was mainly due to waiting on insurance company getting adjuster out to see any additional damages they found after taking the car apart. Not A&E fault just the problem with going with an auto body repair place that isn't on the insurance companies "list" of vendors. Just remember the reason those other body shops are on the insurance companies "LIST" is because they will do thing cheaply and in the best interest of the insurance company and the body shop, not you, the insured. The only thing i wished would have happened would have been the repairs were done faster but after waiting and getting the car back it repaired perfectly. I can say I would have rather them take their time and make it look this good rather than get it done fast and its a hack job. read more

I went to get a estimate on my car someone hit my car the day before and I can't open my door from the outside I talked to a representative who didn't even look at the inside of the door to hear me out before he stated "We don't want your service" and proceeded to walk away. For reference I am a person of color who is active duty military it's a 2020 Nissan. read more

I personally know others who praised A & E's work, so when someone swiped my rear bumper in a parking garage I took it to them. In a few days my car looked like new, price was as expected, personnel were professional, done and done. I trust their work, but hope I don't need them again read more

My car was in a collision. Every part on the car that was damaged was a simple bolt on part, but these scam artists l, due to their working with the insurance company, totaled my car instead of simply telling them that it was all repairable. I wouldn't take my vehicle to them, they over estimate the repair costs and screw their customers over. I am now completely without a vehicle due to these crooks when the car only has superficial damage. read more

I called three times, went in three times. The three times I called to see if I could get a quote for a repair the person told me to come in between 7:30-11 or after 2:00. I went in at 7:30 twice. I was told the person wasn't there at all one day and then told the next time he wasn't in until later. No big deal. I went back today at 9:40. I walked in (in a good mood) gave the dog a pet, and this RUDE girl asked me what I needed. No smile, no greeting, nothing. So I said I needed to get a quote. She didn't even look up she said in a rude way, "well do you have an appointment?" Super snotty. I explained that I had been in and had also called and was told they didn't do appointments for quotes to just come in a window of time and I'd be seen. She rolled her eyes and said "well you need an appointment" never looked at me, said to the girls working the front to check his schedule. He had an opening at 10 but she was so freaking rude there was no way I was staying for it. I said okay thanks and turned to leave. She says to me WITH AN ATTITUDE "so you don't want to be seen at 10". I just said nope and left. My 12 year old son looked at me when we walked out and said "what is her problem? Why was she so rude for no reason" I told him she must be having a bad day. From her demeanor Id say it's a personality trait, but who knows. It was ridiculous. I wasn't even upset about needing an appointment, and would have happily made one if she wasn't so nasty. I don't understand people these days. read more

The ladies in the front desk were very rude with me. Every time I asked for an update they would always adviod my question and tell me that the person that was working on the car was not around to ask. Mind you this happen every time I asked about my cars repair process.. The mannager of the company was always asked to explain what was going on with the car. He was the only one that treated us like he honestly cared about our questions. To sum everything up the car was there for 3 months for a few minor repairs and I have never got an update call from the company we had to keep checking up on the car which made the ladies upset for some reason I was put on 20 min holds when I called or a failed call back.. NEVER COMING BACK OR RECOMMENDING this company to anybody I know! read more

I had my truck repaired there about a year ago and I some minor issues with the repair and the owner would not even take my calls. Now the paint is peeling off and Mike the owner still won't speak to me. So much for guaranting their work. I had my other car repaired there before knowing that they ignore you after they get your money and the panels aren't even close to being lined up. My husand's truck was in an accident that severely damaged the front of the truck (axle bent, broken rim, fractured other rim, etc). This is the body shop our insurance chose. They kept it for over 3 weeks to "repair." We would get the run around every time we called for an update. They finally called and told us it was done right about the time our loaner car allowance was going to expire. My husband wasn't even allowed to look at the truck before paying the deductible. Once he paid and went to see his truck it was obvious it wasn't drivable! He couldn't turn his wheel! The truck sat lopsided! He immediately went back into the office and told them that it isn't drivable. They act like everything's fine and you're the only one that sees the problems. These people are crooks! They do HORRIBLE repair jobs if you can call giving you something back that isn't even drivable a repair! RIDICULOUS. Now we are stuck with a truck that we can't even drive! And we live 3 hours away from this place because the accident happened while we were away on vacation. I have to go pick up my husband and son now because this "repair" company has left them stranded. read more

They shouldn't get a star they are not worth it I had issues with this shop big time I got a call that my vehicle was ready well guess what it wasn't my suv sustained major collision damage to the front and the rear well when I went to pick it up the first time neither of the front or the rear lights fit correctly from where we was hit we also had damage to the headliner and glove box from the accident that's how hard we was hit in the rear they said they tweaked the glove box but couldn't replace it but I found more damage to the inside rear hatchback on that date to that wasn't repaired either they said they needed to have our insurance adjuster come back out to look it over to say yay or nay well I found out 4 days later that insurance approved those repairs i received a call that they needed to order the parts that it would be another 5 days before parts would be in which I was ok with i got another call that my suv was ready to pick up so I go to the rental place drop my car off and they drive me to get my suv from a&e get dropped off go inside to get my key to put my things out of the rental into my suv well I don't give it a look over except looking at inside back hatchback and I look at the glove box they looked good so I went inside paid the deductible and ask who I could speak with about the gash or door don't in my passenger driver rear door because it wasn't like that before when I dropped it off the manager looks over at me and said in not doing anymore to your vehicle I said to him you have a camera over there can you please see when it was done he said I may or may not review it but you need to call your insurance and file a claim its not our problem so I go back outside to my suv quietly take pictures then I go to start my vehicle it was a full tank of gas when I dropped it off and it was way on empty almost below line by a hair thank god for a gas station next door...I also noticed a light that was on in dash a warning indicator light which was part of my vsa system or check engine looked through my owners manual to make sure what it was i see the guy who told me he wasn't going to do anything else to my vehicle outside in the back seat of a black 4 door ford raptor so i walk over towards him and he sees me and continues inside the office so I follow him i tell him I brought my suv in on full and now its empty and while I was still talking he says to me here's 20 dollars I want you off my property while I was still talking and I said I had an indicator light on and he had one of the techs go and drive it to put a computer on it needless to say regardless of the amount that I paid them i have pride I wasn't taking a penny from someone who wanted to be rude to a woman and a customer at that the tech said I needed to get with my insurance he didn't know why it was on well the tech took my owners manual and I noticed that as I was getting gas so I ended up having to go back and get it I never even drove it a mile and the vsa light itself came on which is bad because it is part of braking and traction so I didn't have just 1 light I had 2 that was on in my dash at this point when I went inside to get my owners manual I was already in tears from the original rude manager no one in there would stand up for me as a customer and he had to belittle me by making sure he wasn't at his desk and standing right beside me with his hands on his hips laughing like I was a dumb joke my rear head lights still are not in correctly either the stearing is super tight and the car is out of alignment as well yes there website says they guarantee the work they do for the time you own the vehicle how does it come off to you as a customer when you have a manager try and throw money at you and tell you to get off the property when you have concerns over your warning lights on your dash or someone bending a door in the parking lot of their facility well I can tell you how it made me feel unwelcome and not wanted I paid my deductible I was a paying customer when you have a family and want them to be safe in a vehicle and they won't acknowledge the fact of what your concerns are along with staff standing there allowing that kind of behavior to go on at there place of business if that would of been me behind the counter I would of done what ever I had to in order to make it right not try and throw someone out or off premises the way I would of looked at it I want to be treated the same way I treat people its called being classy not trashy you never know what's happened in someone's life so don't try and drag up old wounds just because your alter ego gets the best of you if people won't stand up for other people and places putting a motto they don't even want to live by on there website what's the point of using people who don't value people but they value the thing called money its super inappropriate read more
