Germania picked the shop after their insured hit my car. The shop did a pretty good job on repairs & communication, which due to circumstances was more of an uphill battle than normal as I live 250 miles away from the scene of the accident. They dinged me for over $1000 for a dead 1-yo battery, alternator, and associated fuse, all of which were in perfect working order when the car was hit. Frustrating, but probably not their fault. What is their fault is that they did not return my belongings after multiple requests. The trunk was smashed in in the wreck with my standing desk riser inside, so I was not able to retrieve it before turning in the car, and Joe Hudson didn't put it back in the car. As I now have injuries, I need it to work comfortably, but they don't care. They have told me they'll ship it to me on multiple occasions, then radio silence, so I had to give in and buy another one after over 2 months of waiting just so I can continue to have a livelihood. Anyway, don't send your not-at-fault accident here unless you want to be out an additional $1000+ and never see your necessary belongings again. read more

Poor craftsmanship Had minor front end damage. Easy fix right? No.... When i got the truck back the following was wrong with it. -Cheap headlight that was extremely dull -Headlight was forced in (cheap headlight didn't fit properly?)and the mounting bracket was bent out of the way -loose bumper! -loose wheel well (hanging) -ridiculously poor Bondo/paint job on fender -bent hood (never repaired) -tow hook was still damaged. -various other things not clipped in. Had to take it back a few times. They Offered to "fix" everything with no problem but each time i noticed a new problem and had to take it back. (I work all day so my girlfriend was handling all this so i couldn't inspect it till i got off work) The last time It was taken back into the shop 3 times before it left the parking lot because of gaps and misalignments. Each time a bullcrap Excuse to go with it. As of right now the paint on the hood is bumpy and the fender still isn't right. I'm to the point of just buying a new fender, having it painted and putting it on myself than to let them clowns work on it again. I took my car took my car to Joe Hudson Collision Center for my agent, as stations, at their shop. upon completion of the estimate, I then scheduled to get the car fixed. when I dropped off the car, I noticed that the tire on the side of the accident was scared with dent/depression. their representative told me he will take care of the tire and he will get the car aligned too. the car was scheduled for 4 days, but it took two weeks to complete. at the pick up time, I noticed that the bumper was not leveled with the front fenders. additionally they didn't replaced the tire. I contacted the insurance agent and he told me that Josh , a worker at Joe Hudson, told him that the depression wasn't from the accident because he said it was another similar depression, which it wasn't, and he prevented my insurance to replace. I took my truck to Joe Hudson's collision for some minor hit and run damage to my drivers rear fender. In the process they had to remove my tonneau cover from the bed of my truck. They broke the locking latch on my tonneau cover, and then also dropped it. Causing them to have to replace the locking mechanism as well as repair and repaint the entire thing. They also told me they replaced the rubber bumper step, but on further inspection they had only shaved it down ruining the finish on it. I picked up my truck, about a month ago, but they hadn't finished fixing my tonneau cover. I picked up my tonneau cover yesterday, and sliced my thumb open because they hadn't sanded down the edges after the repair and the repaint. They had to take it back in the shop and fix that. It came back out of the shop, and in the process of sanding down the edges, they sanded the clear coat on the tonneau cover too. So it went back in for them to buff it out. All while they were complaining they were already out $400 fixing my latch...that they broke! Seriously? Mind you, the lock on my tonneau cover still didn't work. I had to take it to another shop to get it fixed. While there the other shop told me that the whole lock had been taken apart and joe Hudson's had left out parts needed for it to work. Thankfully the new shop knew what they were doing and fixed it. I can only tell you how frustrated and upset I am. I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this shop for repairs. Be careful when choosing a repair shop. Read their reviews and the experiences of others before making a decision. UPDATE: just thought I would let you all know that the lock progressively got worse. But since my review the regional manager contacted me and although it took 6 months to actually fix the lock on my tonneau cover, it has finally been fixed. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with an auto body repair shop. My wife brought her car in, and we didn't get it back for 3 weeks. During that time, we heard the following excuses/lies: 1) The parts came in wrong, 2) The tech working on our car was sick, and that caused a delay, 3) No, the parts didn't come in wrong, they were just late - we can't fix the car without the parts. The manager acted as if this was no big deal, and that this was the first he had heard of any delays. If you want lying, slow and/or or stupid (has to be one or two of the three) people working on your car - then Joe Hudson's Collision Center is the place for you. WOW! Excellent service from the beginning to end. Filing a claim is always a frustrating experience and then to have Geico set the appointment wrong etc was even more frustrating! I arrived at Joe Hudson about and hour and a half after my scheduled time (because I went to service king in Kingwood and Humble due to come miscommunications) and they were able to fit me in and did so without acting rude or annoyed. They updated me every day about what was taking place with my car and were super communicative and pleasant to work with. Summer and all the technicians and even the enterprise and geico reps were really friendly! Truck was there for over a month which my rental car allowance had lapsed, at which time Aaron the GM told progressive they would cover the overages for the rental. Almost at a month and a half I receive a call that the tuck was ready and I drive the 45mins it takes to get there. Upon arrival I notice that they didn't even touch the dent in the door which was the most cosmetic damage the truck had. I spoke with progressive and Aaron the GM and they said they would order parts and I could bring it back to finish repairs. Using this time while driving the truck I noticed something wasn't right with the front end and suspension. So a week later I take it back to finish the repairs which took another two weeks to complete a total of about two months. Everything looked good cosmetically so I drove it home. While on 59 I noticed that my drive side mirror was loose and rattle if in the wind and I could hear wind coming through my door seal. I also noticed something still isnt right with my suspension. The wreck happened in sep of 2019 it is now March 2020 and the truck still isn't right and I still havent received my reimbursement for the lapsed rental car. Customer service is horrible and so is workmanship. If I could give 0 stars I would. Completely do not recommend. read more

Stay away from this "Geico approved" repair center. Extremely poor quality. Add their inability to honestly communicate and this becomes a nightmare. Had my vehicle in numerous times yet after several months, repairs to my vehicle are still not right. Center charged for a new headliner (around $1100.00) but used the old/damaged liner. Didn't' tell my wife when she picked it up but when I returned from a trip and noticed the shoddy repairs I contacted the manager who suggested, he forgot to tell us. Do not take your car to this shop!! I dropped my Toyota Rav4 of for repairs on 12/26/2018. This is the repair shop recommended by my Geico Insurance. The shop called with the repairs completed on 12/31/2018. This being New Years Eve I did not pick up the car until 01/02/2019. When they brought my car out I noticed the front license plate was missing, they found it in the trash pile still bolted to the front bumper that they had replaced. The only thing they needed to repair was the left front bumper, this was done by replacing the complete front bumper. I drove away from their repair shop and got 1/2 mile down the road when the car quit. They were called and sent a tow truck to take it back to their shop. Two days later I called because I had not heard anything about my car. I was told by the manager that the car would not be repaired by them, I would have to take it someplace else because they were not responsible for anything. I had it towed to Tejas Toyota and they ran a diagnostic check on it. Toyota reported that the fuse to the throttle body had been shorted out and the parking assist sensor in the right front bumper had been damaged. The total charges were $604.54. I called the shop manager at Joe Hudson's collision and told him, he said he would check into it. I called five times to find out and was sent to voice mail which was never returned, or I was told that he was in a meeting and was not available. I finally got through to Mr. Owen and he informed me that they did nothing to the engine so they were not responsible for the blown fuse. I told him I agreed that they were not supposed to touch the engine but Toyota's paperwork showed the fuse was blown by improper grounding of the electrical system and the only people who had control of the car was his shop. He said we would just have to agree to disagree and the repairs were my problem. I asked about the damaged sensor in the front right bumper and he informed me that he was adding the repairs for that to the collision estimate. I asked him how the damage to the right sensor occurred when the damage to the bumper was on the left front of the car, he did not have an answer for that. I asked him if he was paying for any of the repairs to my car and he said no. I have now had to pay for the $600 dollars in additional repairs done to my car. read more
