Because true to their name, they really did rescue me…read more --- --- --- I was heading to the grocery store and noticed that my low tire pressure light came on as I was backing out of the driveway, but that always happens in the cold weather, and it just so happened to be after a major cold front came in and I hadn't driven the car in a couple of days. So I ignored it and kept driving. Big mistake. I got a few miles down the road and started to hear the lovely sound of a shredded tire flopping around in the wind. I pulled over, and sure enough, my tire was cooked. Next step: utilize roadside assistance through my insurance. They quoted me 75-105 minutes. So I sat and I waited. 99 minutes later, I get a call that the provider was trying to call me, couldn't find me, and moved onto another job. None of this was true, but the important thing was they told me it would be an additional 90-120 minutes. No thanks. I just started calling around to every roadside company I could find on Yelp. I kept getting voicemail after voicemail. Until finally, Green Roadside Rescue picked up. He said he could get to me in about 40 minutes. 40 minutes later, he was there. And I don't think it took him more than 5 minutes to swap out the tire. It was the happiest I've ever been to spend $75, and not just because my insurance company will have to reimburse it. I wish I would have just called here first and definitely will do that next time.

I was unfortunate to lose the air conditioner in my Truck while traveling through Houston with a 40 foot trailer accompanied by my wife and two small boys. I checked into an RV park near Oak Ridge Car Clinic's location and the were recommended by my neighbor in the park. I am on deadline to travel to Amarillo, and needed my truck fixed ASAP. I called them on a Friday and said I needed to be back on the road Tuesday, could they help. I spoke with the Father who told me to come for a diagnosis. He said I needed a new compressor and belt, they were shot. He said if he could get the parts he could get it done on Monday. He claimed that he spent Friday afternoon and Saturday morning searching for the parts and they simply weren't available in Houston. He said a friend of his that works for Ford told him that in a dire emergency they would come up with the parts to get the job done. I went to Ford on Saturday, and they told me they didn't have a service slot available until Wednesday or Thursday but they would be glad to sell me the parts. They had two in stock. So I bought the parts. I called Oak Ridge Car Clinic Monday morning, and the son answered. Said his Dad was on vacation for a week, he was all alone and had 4 cars in front of me before he could work on my truck. Then he got nasty. He said it was first come first served, and he couldn't promise me anything about getting the job done by my deadline. I asked why his dad told me that he could do it if he could get the parts, and he said, "well he knew he couldn't get the parts." So he was stringing me along and had no intention of taking the job and didn't want to tell me that. I called their competitor, next door, and they said come on over, we'll take care of you. This was a very bad business practice.

AGA Wrecker Service is a family-owned business. I specifically worked with Andy and Samuel. They embody professionalism, responsiveness, and respect. I value these things in a company and they exceeded my expectations! No one wants to need a tow for whatever reason, however, if the time comes I HIGHLY recommend AGA! Reasonably priced with a flat rate of $125. This is much appreciated because we all know the scamming/overcharging that can occur with towing services. Yousef (driver) showed up after about 45 minutes (we were told it would be an hour). He looked over our vehicle and carefully loaded it onto his truck and secured it well. We followed him to our chosen repair facility and he drove safely. At the shop, he off-loaded our vehicle into a secure location. Although having car trouble is never fun, Yousef took care of us very well. He is a credit to the towing company.
