Insurance claim. Told me my car was ready after 30days. When i picked it up, the battery was dead. Its easy on my vehicle to tell if the car was locked manually or with the fob. It was locked manually, which means the battery was dead before i got there. No one went over the car with me. I was so mad after the day i had, i didn't go in to say anything before they closed cause i didnt want to be as rude as i would have been. Charged the battery enough to get it home. Which, during that bit, we realized part of the engine cover under the hood was missing. I called about it, was told i could email a pic for the time being until i could come in. Fast forward a few days, the undercarriage they were supposed to repair started falling apart again. Called back, this lady was rude, esp when i asked if the manager had seen it. I explained i just wanted to give them a heads up on what i was missing before i wasted more of my time. Naturally said i would need to bring it in for the falling a part bit can be looked at. I was finally able to go up the next week or so. Finally speak to the manager, and guess what? They purposely didnt fix the issue cause they were "waiting on a part that came in after pick up." So, not only did they let me take my car unfinished, there was absolutely NO communication about this. None. Obviously, i was pretty angry. Manager was professional with no empathy, which to me isnt very professional. I work in sales and retail management. Its not that hard. I was also told that, supposedly, the guy who worked on my car packed his tools up one day and left the shop. This was the excuse of my car missing a piece, said it must have gotten thrown away. No explanation given to why a mechanic would do that. Never called me last week about ordering the part, like i asked. Waited two hours today for a call back i never received. I called again to be told they'd have to contact the part place to get an ETA for me. Two more hours later, no return phone call. Again, i call them. Should be in by the end of the week. Theyre in no rush to make this right, it seems. So, after at least 6wks, my car is still falling apart while i drive, and im missing a piece that i wasnt when i dropped my car off. I really regret using this location, and for not looking at all the Google reviews, going back years, about their lack of basic communication. Today, end of the week, i called about my part. Turns out it came in, and i wasnt notified. Once i waited almost two hours for my car to be completed, i finally received an answer about when the part actually came in. Apparently it was around 11am. I called at 1p. They didnt know until i called and asked.. i asked the manager (colby? Cody? Idfk) if they have someone that keeps track of parts coming in for their customers. He said yes. So i asked why i wasnt contacted. He just kept repeating his answer of "we found out when you called." The third time he repeated, i told him i understood what he said. however, i do not understand why the person that keeps tabs on it wasnt doing that.. manager repeated himself once more, but slower. I sincerely do not understand why this was even a thing. I dont want a reply from the shop. Nothing makes this experience acceptable. I sat and cried in the lobby and not a single soul gave it any thought. read more

We dropped my car off 3 weeks ago and it's still not complete. My husband hit an animal :( , No major damage, basically it's the front bumper, grill and fog lights. They would not order the parts in advance, so my car has to sit there waiting for parts to arrive. My car was drivable. Why not let me just drop it off when all the parts are in? $2k in repairs and they say it will probably be another 7-10 days. I can't run basic errands, grocery shop, nada. I'm stranded due to a crappy business model. I have had body work done on other vehicles and NEVER experienced this level of incompetence. read more

Quite possibly the WORST paint job I have ever seen. My child could have done better. They painted my car with the windshield out and sprayed white paint all on the leather inside. They attempted to clean my leather dash with PAINT THINNER, ruined the leather and I forced them to replace it. So many runs and divets in the paint. They had my car for 4 months for a simple wreck. Each time they would fix some mess up, the car would come back with a new issue. At the end of the multiple months, they brought my car to my house with even more issues. A man named DANIEL, which was suppose to be some type of manager wanted me to sign paperwork stating that I accept the car and the work completed so that "they can get paid". I refused to sign it because once again there were even more issues. He told me that he would NOT leave my car with me if I didn't sign it, even refusing to return my keys to me and attempted to drive my car off of my property forcefully. I had to call the POLICE! Needless to say, the car stayed with me. I have to take it back to have some issues fixed again but it will NEVER go back to the TYLER shop. We have chosen their Forney location...now I have to cross my fingers. Through the nearly 4 months of their screw ups, all they kept wanting was me to sign the paperwork that states that I accept the work...ummm, NO! This place is an utter joke of a collision/paint shop. PLEASE if you use JOE HUDSON, proceed with caution. They have zero INTEGRITY. read more

We waited two weeks just to get them to look at the car. Then another couple of weeks begin the work. Someone called and said the car would be ready on a certain day at a certain time. When we arrived, it was not. We had to come back the next day. The receptionist at this place was extremely rude on several occasions. She had absolutely no reason to be Worst customer service I've ever seen. Waaayyyy too much paperwork. Ridiculous. The technician that worked in the car was very nice and the repair was ok. But we will never use them again. read more

problems (besides the work that is good) 1: lies told, 2 week wait, 5+ weeks is it. so they get the contract, sure. 2: then at pickup time (sept 2021) they demand I wear a mask now, and I refused and left and let my wife get her car masked up. (FUD) 3: rude receptionist. too. 4: never again will I go here, and lots better their are for sure. The lie was, how long to get car in for the work, lied they did. This caused me to pick them as my favorite place had 3 week wait but only 1 hour to get quoted on cost . Up to 6 week delays here and a 1 week job. so others knows this, so they can make plans. etc. read more

EXTREMLY POOR customer service!! Promise to email progress updates - NEVER - received one email. Called and left name and number - NEVER - got a return call, however, they chose to call my son. Talked with person responsible for repairs yesterday and straightened out any confusion on who to call and so he decided to call my son today to let him know the call was ready. He did this less than 18 hours from talking to me about lack of communication/confusion on who to call. Basically, just flipping his middle finger at me. From their website: A CUSTOMER... is a person who brings us their wants-it is our job to fill those wants. A CUSTOMER... is deserving of the most courteous and attentive treatment that we can give them. They failed on both statements!! They do great work but customer service EXTREMLY POOR! read more

Great daily follow up the 4 days, then no contact on Friday going into a weekend, and I heard nothing on Monday until I called for an update. It would be nice if the company was open until 5:30 PM to make it easier to pick up the vehicle after work. read more

Inconclusive yet. I have no idea how well they will perform the work. They've had my vehicle since early August . It's almost September. The estimated date of completion is over a week away. They had a supplemental to file with insurance that put the whole process on hold but seriously, this is their business. They know the game. The supplemental was going to be approved and they know it. I've had body work done before and it's never taken close to a month. These guys came highly recommended, but I think they're riding a reputation that they've probably outgrown. I won't repeat. There's no sense in them taking a month. If they're this busy they shouldn't have scheduled me to bring it in when they did. Abject BS. read more

I have had THREE separate occasions to use Davis-Green. Thankfully none of them were my fault. LOL . Each time the work has been superb and I like to think of myself as picky when it comes to getting things back to their original state. Kendal was very professional and upfront so i knew what to expect during the process. I was kept up to date as my cars were going through each phase of repair. The end resulting functionality and cosmetics were outstanding. Im 3/3. I hope there isn't a 4th but if so Im coming back here. read more
