I am a total fan. We needed work done for a year or so. We put it off due to the cost. We needed: Bathroom Sink Popup Replaced. Bathroom Toilet to be reset Bathroom sink snaked Bathtub Snaked Kitchen Sink Drain Replaced Called Joe Ed Nettleton because he was close by and had decent reviews. Abacus Plumbing quoted over 1000 bucks. Abacus was super professional but really? Is a clean uniform worth the extra expense? Half that as Joe Ed Nettles Plumbing, Luis and Juan were friendly, very through and explained what they were doing....These guys deserve a raise. As a Realtor I will recommend this company. Very highly recommended!!! These folks truly know what they are doing. Extremely competent and professional. I had called a dozen of plumbers and these guys aren't out there to scam. Their prices are quite reasonable. It is always very easy to make appointments and they will be at my place promptly! I am a repeat customer. As a real estate broker, Joe Nettles will always be my go-to plumber. In fact, I just referred them out to my seller client in Bellaire to have their sewage removed for demolition purpose. This is a sad case of poor business practices. Repipe specialists of Harris County is a sub company of Joe Nettles Plumbing. Steven Nettles has told me many times that Nettles Plumbing would take care of my problem but they have not. I thought these guys did a good job at first but over 2 years later they haven't finished the job. I paid Steven Nettles $600 to repair the holes they made in the walls as a result of repiping. He sent a guy from Nettles Plumbing to the house who ripped me off for about $300. So that's $900 I'm in the hole. I've tried to be understanding for over 2 years (nearly 3 years). I thought he was dealing with some personal issues and I wanted to give him time. I've called Steven repeatedly. He promises to do the job but never follows through. Essentially, he stole about $900 from me. Very sad Steve Nettles is allowed to continue doing business. read more

Excellent service! Both sinks in my master bath were stopped up. I called this morning and they were able to fit me in this afternoon. They arrived after a heads up call that they were on their way, diagnosed the problem promptly and had my drains running within the hour! Let me start with the nightmare story when I tried to use another plumbing company. I called John Moore because water would stop coming out when I would turn the faucet to 'hot' in a shower/tub of a secondary bedroom in my home. First thing that came to mind was to call John Moore. Why? Because of the darn TV commercial. A 'gentleman' showed up, and wouldn't even touch anything. He was so arrogant and wouldn't even want to turn the water on giving me the look like he knew what was wrong without doing anything. I had to explain and physically show him what the problem was. Without making a move he told me I would have to spend at least $2800 to repair it and that he would have to go through the bedroom's sheet rock to the tub which would mean I would have to call someone else to repair the sheet rock. I immediately dismissed him and told him I would have to live without hot water in that bedroom. Think twice before calling John Moore, as appealing as the commercial may be. Total rip off. Months later, another plumbing company was recommended. I called them and Zach came and gave me a free estimate. At a later date, Zach sent Luis and Rene to my rescue in a matter of 30 minutes tops they completed the work and charged me $236.93. I even told them about another issue with the connector to my dryer and they repaired for me at no extra charge. There was no destroying of any walls involved and they simply had to replace the shower cartridge. I have many other needs and I will be calling them very soon. They are the best. The customer service was great and the plumber was on time but am disappointed at how much they charged for what little work was actually performed. We requested them to come out and check for leaks due to some stains we noticed on the ceiling and some soft Sheetrock. The Plumber showed up and after 5 minutes in the attic just looking with a flash light, concluded that there was no leak and the stains were from an older leak that had been repaired. The plumber then left but a few minutes later came back and told us he was informed to collect the full 160$ fee. The service was good, but be warned that even if they don't actually do any work, they will still charge you the full service charge amount that they would if they actually did any work (excluding cost of materials). read more
