He seemed all right at first, and all I wanted and still want is a fair deal and to be able to be a parent to my children and not be harrased by my ex. He has put me in a bad position in every possible way. I am confident I could not have gotten a worse deal for myself. During the several months that I paid him more than my mortgage payment, he conveniently 'forgot' about certain issues that he should have been working on. When I would ask him about these his response would be "I wasn't sure if you still wanted that". He might as well have been representing the other side. When I told him what I wanted in a settlement, he literally asked, "why should [the opposing party] accept this? that's not what they want" and pressured me to just roll over and not fight for my own rights, instead of finding an argument for my side of the story. Also, you should know that Eric can be very rude and downright mean as mentioned in other reviews. If you disagree with him, he will proceed to speak louder and louder over you until you give up. People who overheard our conversations could not believe the way he spoke to his clients. After he insults you in person or over the phone he will promtly write an email denying talking that way to cover it up and make sure he looks good on paper. Lastly, there were frequent problems with his staff not knowing what was going on, sending me old emails that we had already discussed or calling to ask questions about things that had been resolved weeks prior. Extremely disorganized and lacking professionalism. Google reviews are higher but businesses can now purchase a service that screens bad reviews. I wouldn't trust those ratings.
