Ordered 8 pies to feed a visiting soccer team. I didn't know the area well but saw that they could accommodate some gluten allergies. Called ahead of time and talked with owner's daughter who was very helpful, friendly, and organized. They have a 32 slice party pizza which was super. We already been to the highest rated place and didn't quite like it so stopped here for lunch the next day as it was the next highest rated. Our party of four had a regular Stromboli and a custom Calzone as well as what they call a Pizza pop Stromboli. The first two were judged good and we had a split opinion on the last item (1 voted good and 1 bland). I'll give them extra credit for huge portions. The service was good and the staff more than welcoming. Appropriate pandemic precautions appear to be taken. read more

Happened upon this place, as I was in Williamsport for the day, and was craving pizza. Loved the fact that I entered and was greeted right away, like a local, which is always a plus! There were plenty of options in the area, but I couldn't imagine that I should be anywhere else, especially after eating here! With a wide variety of slices and additional offerings, they have something for everyone here, and they definitely nail it. From slices, to stromboli, to stuffed pizzas, wings, fries, and killer garlic knots, its hard to leave here hungry, if you do, I'll be surprised! They offer salads, sandwiched, take & bake, desserts, calzones and rolls, something literally for everyone!! I went for the specialty slices, the buffalo chicken and the cheesesteak & pepperoni were both delicious, and the crust was right on! Quickly became a regular for us when we moved to town. The owner, Kurt, and his family are friendly and treat you warmly the moment you walk in the door. The food is hot, full of flavor, and made with love and attention to details. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back. Their pizzas are excellent and The Margarita is a simple but delicious one that you have to try. The garlic knots are buttery and crispy solo, but simply divine when dunked into their homemade marinara. Want to fall in love? Try the cinnamon knots with the white dipping sauce! I really enjoy the pizza and garlic knots here, but I don't go here too often because of some stuff posted on the businesses Facebook awhile ago, but their food is good enough to still occasionally order it. Tonight I ordered two pizzas, some garlic knots, and some mini-cannolis through the slice app, and had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a pizza place. It was scheduled to deliver around 8pm and the app said the pizza was in the kitchen when I happened to look outside at 7:50 to see something on my porch outside my door. Apparently the delivery driver didn't even bother knocking on my door, and we were completely missing one of the pizzas, and the one pizza we did get was stone cold. I checked my phone but I'd had it on silent and there was a missed call like 20minutes previously. I messaged slice customer service, and they said the people at Long Island delivered the full order and they weren't going to send anything else. The slice people were great, and just immediately gave me a full refund, but then Long Island called me and were incredibly rude on the phone. They were claiming that the delivery guy knocked repeatedly (we were sitting on the couch next to the door and didn't hear anything) and tried calling, but they delivered the full complete order. They even had the gall to claim that someone came up on our enclosed porch in a quiet safe neighborhood and stole one of our cold pizzas while leaving everything else. They refused to do anything to fix the problem, and even when we wanted to speak to the manager he was just as rude and insisted someone stole the pizza. If I have to guess at what actually happened, I think that the guy delivered a partial order, didn't knock, but called my phone from his car to tell us our pizza was delivered. Then probably some other house got an additional pizza, or the driver himself stole one of our pizzas and ate it himself. Either way, Long Island was completely at fault for the mistake. We told him that we were never going to order from them again, and then I threw the one pizza we got in the air fryer to heat it up and we ordered a pizza from papa johns. It was such a horrible experience, but I do love their pizzas, and that's the worst part. They have a great crust, good sauce, excellent cheese, and good toppings. Their customer service is just horrible, and I wouldn't recommend them because of that. read more

Good food and good people. They make a good pizza at a good price. It's not overly complicated or overpriced. Their pulled pork on ciabatta sandwich is surprisingly good too. I wasnt expected this from a pizza place. The staff is friendly and happy. They seem like they enjoy what they are doing. The owner, I believe he's the owner, is a boisterous guy who is, from what I've seen, in a great mood and appreciative of your business. He learns your name and always greets you and says goodbye. That might not be a big deal to some, but that's something I appreciate in places that serve food. They have budget friendly lunch specials under $6. They also do extra little things. I dropped a slice of pizza once when i turned too quick and it slid off the metal plate. It was totally my fault and a I planned to wipe it off and just eat it. Wasnt going to ask them to waste more resources for my mistake but they insisted and provided a replacement free of charge. Thats how you earn loyal patrons and is a dying art in business these days. I was up from the Philly burbs and I Bought 3 pizzas for my family whom I was visiting. I was excited to see the name Long Island pizza because we all know you get the best pizza on the East Coast from the NYC area. We weren't disappointed. In fact my local sister said that she orders from them all the time. The owner and his family were extremely friendly and yes originally from Long Island. The owner's son was kind to take my pizzas out of the car for me. That kind of service makes me glad I made the decision to support a mom and pop pizza joint versus a chain. When I walked in the door I got a smile and a wave like I was a regular and it was my first visit. I got the sampler special which was a pizza slice of my choice and bread knots. I got the meat lovers pizza and two garlic knots. The knots were crispy and buttery and came with an amazing marinara sauce that was clearly homemade. The pizza was perfect, crust was crunchy in all the right places and really hit the spot. I was happy to see that they had desserts by the slice so I helped myself to an Oreo cream pie! Good, but "Long Island" is a bit of a stretch. I thought the pizza was good for the money but it was slightly above average at best compared to other pizza. Certainly better than chain pizza but it was a little doughy, the sauce/cheese was average and the bacon was way too ground up to be even remotely close to NY style pizza. Again, good pizza but anyone who writes a review of this place claiming that it tastes like NY style pizza has either never eaten pizza in NY or is a friend of the restaurant writing a nice review for their pal. If I could give it 3.5 stars I'd do that. 3 seems too low. 4 seems too high. read more

This is a second generation family run business. Everyone is super nice and the pizza is great. They have a great selection of specialty pizza and did I mention they are all super nice.... I try to stop in whenever I am in the area. Even if it is just for a slice or an order of there knots. they even added sunset ice cream to the mix:) I have even bought a single roll to take home a make my own sandwich. The rolls are incredible and did I mention how nice they are? The owner is always there and takes great pride in his shop. This is a great family pizza joint. Like the ones I remember as a kid. Kurt and the staff are super friendly as soon as you walk in.! There is a wide variety of food on the menu, prices are not high, very reasonable. The pizza here tastes great as well as any of the subs. I had a cheesesteak, probably one of the best I've ever had. My son had a chicken bacon ranch sub, he said it was delicious. Other members in our party had pizza, said it was great! They serve the food on real plates which is a nice touch. The restaurant is large, can accommodate a lot of people. i ordered from here 2 more times after my first try and got more and more disapointed each time. Anything i got from this place that had chicken on it tasted of freezer burn. The wings are disgusting, they are slimy and fatty (worse than dominos wings). The second time i ordered i thought maybe it was just a fluke so i gave them another shot and it was even worse. I will give them credit that they do have awesome subs and pretty much anything that doesnt involve chicken is good. Sadly i have another dislike in the way they do phone orders, i do appreciate some good customer service but when it is so obviously faked and scripted it just makes it that much worse. I would rather be rushed off the phone than talked to like i am an idiot. read more

I really liked their pizza the first time I had it, so I had high hopes this time. I ordered a large veggie pizza. I think the menu should be clearer that this is a white pizza. I really wanted a regular pizza with tomato sauce and lots of fresh veggies. 4 stars for the crust, which is delicious, but 2 stars for everything else. The veggies were rubbery and overcooked and this ruined the rest of it :( I'll try them again, but definitely not for any pizzas with veggies. read more

For folks looking for gluten free (GF) pizza, this shop makes the BEST in town. My daughter has Celiac Disease and has been GF for five years. This is her favorite pizza! I even eat her leftovers sometimes, and that's saying something ;) The crust is great, and the service and staff are awesome. Best part: a GF cheese pizza is only $6! Believe me, every other place around Williamsport is twice the price; even GF frozen pizzas are $10. Hands down, go to Kurt for your GF needs (and everything else)! read more
