Have had my hair cut at Doyle's many many times over the years and followed him every time he has…read moremoved locations. I've continued to give him business when he lost the other barber working in his shop and it would sometimes take a long time. I guess loyalty isn't rewarded and he has enough money that he can just turn away long time customers. I walk in today to a completely empty shop, with one person in the chair. Doyle proceeds to ask if I had an appointment-something he has never required before. I told him I didn't know I had to have one. He said "well normally I don't take appointments but I'm short handed today." Again, NOBODY in the shop at all except the guy whose hair he was cutting. This place got voted "Best of the Best"???? Not even close. He doesn't want my business or the tip I always leave-that's fine. I'll go somewhere else. A high and tight is a basic cut any barber can do.
