I like this place! I love the decorations and just the vibe of the place. Me and my coworkers go there fairly often after long days of working with horses. We go in fairly late and there's usually a lot of us. The workers have always been happy to serve us, except for one rude girl one time at the bar. This review is not about the food (which was very average). It's about basic hospitality and restaurant design. The dining room was 3/4 empty. And yet we were seated in the ONE spot where the "view" was: 1 garbage can 2 tubs of dirty dishes 3 stacks of styrofoam cups 4 fire extinguisher 5 stainless steel drink station??? Ice maker??? 6 swinging door into kitchen where staff were cleaning 7 floor to ceiling structural pole 8 backsides of an endless stream of servers using the register and just hanging out 9 appealing? Good food. Great drink selection. Good drink specials throughout the week. There is a patio area, that is great to sit at and enjoy drinks and appetizers. Prices are good for the amount of food that is served. I have yet to leave hungry. Great choices of sauces to go on your orders. I eat here about twice a month, sometimes more. I had to change my rating tonight. The worst food ever. I had the taco tour. The corn tortillas were cold, like out of the refrigerator cold! There was so much lettuce and tomatoes on the tacos, that it looked like I ordered a salad. You could not find the meat in the tacos. The fish taco smelled fishy, and tasted bad. There was supposed to be 6 different tacos. There only appeared to be three types of tacos. My wife had the margarita lime chicken salad. She had to check the menu, then ask the waitress for the black bean and corn salsa that was supposed to be on the salad. She expected a vinaigrette type dressing. A creamy type dressing that looked like thinned ranch dressing is what she received. The waitress was informed of these issues, and stated that she would let the manager know. She came back and stated that the manager had discounted the bill. The manager never came out to see us. I will probably not go back after this bad experience. read more

Went to get to go this evening. Restaurant was clearly over occupancy. People everywhere. No cleaning or social distancing in place. We decided after seeing the lack of Covid guidelines not being followed inside we would get to go. I ordered a double order of fajitas and chicken tacos at 5. They told me over the phone it would be 15 min. 1 hour later the manager came out and said sorry we can't find your order after asking 3 times where I food was from the runner. I get it however how she handled the mistake was disgraceful. I asked her to go ahead and put the order in. She had a major attitude problem. And she said she was too busy and it would take abother 30 minutes minimum. No apology, no offer to reorder my food. Nada! Adios and won't be back. read more

I am impressed at what they were able to do with the building itself. They took some of the existing and made an old garage into cool spot to eat some grub. I like how quickly they were able to sit my family of 5. The kids all got a kids plate that were very reasonably priced. They loved the queso! It's especially good with a little brisket added. Salad with shrimp is awesome. We got the street tacos and skinny tacos. Both very good on corn tortillas. Very Tex mex style of Mexican food but it all has been very good. Located on the charming town square, this restaurant is a great stop. We are on vacation, staying in Canyon and visiting the Palo Duro Canyon. We love trying local restaurants and this place delivered! Fantastic, fresh food with very generous portions. And while the food was terrific, the real highlight was the adorable and gifted server, Hayley. She was so sunny and friendly we were immediately charmed. This place is a hidden gem. Best Mexican food in Amarillo and very affordable. Im here on work travel from Vegas and have tried several several Mexican food places and this place by far is the best. And growing up in Los Angeles I'm picky when it comes to Mexican food. Jayson was my server and he was the best. Everything good. Pork/Brisket tacos juicy, tender, and lean tho I'm guessing the pulled pork not cooked in house? Accompanying rice good as were the baracho (sp?) beans. My fiancé and step-son went here last night in order to watch a soccer game. My step-son had a hamburger and ended up with bad food poisoning. Amazing place to eat. We spent the day hiking the canyon and needed to recharge. The chips and salsa were great! We got burritos with "skinny meat" and they were very good. A great choice of sauces too. There were two vegetarian options to replace the meat in most dishes giving the vegetarian in our group great options!
