Will aka Billiam was the one who gave us our bid and also came out to do the work and I cannot stress enough how nice and professional he was. He explained the work thoroughly and in a way that was easy for us to get, he made sure to get a hold of me and explain if something had arisen and was able to walk my wife and I through what needed to change from our initial estimate and and he cleaned up after himself as well. He felt like a guy I'd want to hang out with outside of an instance like this and was very personable. He was quick and prompt at handling the work we initially called him out for. While this company only had 1 yelp review, I had a good feeling about them after reviewing their website and decided to give em a try. I called to inquire about whole house carpet cleaning and got a same day appointment for an inspection. While I wasn't planning on doing carpet repair, there were some areas needed so I went ahead. They did a very good job on both the carpet cleaning and repairs. I had a late appointment but they were prompt and worked diligently. They also charge the cleaning by the room instead of sq. feet. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend to others.

ZERO STARS! Tons of issues and extremely disappointed after spending $5000+. We were having the…read morefloors in one room refinished, carpet removed from two rooms and refinishing the hardwood underneath, and adding new flooring to the kitchen. PROBLEM 1: When they first dropped off the new wood to acclimate, the person dropping off the wood took a chisel to my existing hardwood floor. He could not explain to me what he was doing. He ruined existing inlayed pegs in the flooring. We were told it would be fixed. They just tried to cover it up with putty (which took multiple attempts) and you can still see it. PROBLEM 2: When ripping up the existing flooring in the kitchen, they knocked two separate holes in my kitchen walls - one going behind the baseboard. PROBLEM 3: The new flooring installed in the kitchen had several spaces where the wood was cut too short and it didn't meet up by the baseboards. The cracks have been filled with putty, but I paid for wood flooring, not flooring filled with putty. PROBLEM 4: The trim nowhere matches either the refinished floors or the existing baseboards. We got a lame excuse about "lighting." They just didn't want to spend time making the trim match the floor. The contract states they are not responsible for any damages. Bruno offered to take $200 off the amount owed to cover for me finding someone to fix the walls. I refused knowing it would cost more than that. We then made a deal with Bruno where he "promised" he would send someone out the next week to fix the walls, we would withhold $500 from the payment and would then pay him the $500 once it was fixed. It has now been a month and we never heard from again despite multiple attempts. I had to hire a contractor to fix it, which cost approximately the $500. Two simple words of advice - RUN AWAY.

We…read morehired a reputable cabinet company to look at our kitchen cabinets and recommend the best (and least invasive) way to correct Artisan's (and Alin's) inferior work. They initially recommended removing the facings only, but unfortunately, they will have to remove at least half of the cabinets because there are too many flaws and the staining work is too inferior. The painter/stainer looked at our cabinets and said (and I quote): "This is a half-ass job, and I can't match the stain and wouldn't want to try because of the inferior work." Also, the Artisan amateurs rigged the cabinet hinges with wooden shims and the Butler's pantry hinges with cardboard shims to make them work (SEE pictures). If this type of rigging doesn't seem amateurish, I don't know what does.

Work was fantastic, not a single problem. Rodolfo the tile setter is more of an artisan than just a tile guy. His work is precise, meticulous and at the end of the day absolutely beautiful and this little project turned out the same as 5 years earlier. When I called to tell his supervisor of my satisfaction and how good I thought Rodolfo was, even the supervisor remembered me from 5 years earlier. When a company has people that remember you down to the level that he was able to tell me it was a black and white kitchen and a downstairs bathroom, I got to give them a big thumbs up. That is a company that, in my opinion, is worth doing business with. I wish I had more tile work to be done; I would and have highly recommend SBJ Installers to anyone based on Rodolfo. Cannot say enough good things about him.

For the next two week I tried to get a new date for installation, but despite leaving several messages they never called me back. They were deliberately ignoring me as they had my number, messages, but refused to give me a call to reschedule a new date for installation. In the end, I had to get a refund from The Home Depot and find a new installer on my own. Avoid them at any cost.
