I had some significant high spots around a drain from previous, subpar concrete work, and I was worried about how it would turn out. Gateway's team handled it masterfully, and the area now looks perfectly smooth and integrated. All the previous cracks and divots in the floor have vanished completely. The finished floor is simply stunning - it looks and feels fantastic. The quality of the materials (Epoxy/Polyurea blend body coat, custom vinyl flake, and Polyaspartic top coat) combined with the expert installation has resulted in a truly premium finish. And the peace of mind that comes with their Lifetime Product AND Workmanship Warranty is invaluable. The only minor point, as expected with such industrial-grade materials, was the smell of the chemicals during application. For the estimate, Brandon (owner) came out personally to walk me through the process, pricing, warranty, and timeline. He struck a great balance--warm and approachable, yet professional and knowledgeable. Cost-wise, all of my bids were within $300 of each other, so price wasn't a major deciding factor. The companies I spoke with offered almost identical processes and warranties, so my decision ultimately came down to communication and overall confidence. Brandon and his team made the best first impression, and trusting that gut feeling definitely paid off. As for the installation itself--the process was smooth and well organized. The team dropped off a storage pod (included in the price) on Friday, giving us the weekend to clear out the garage. They returned Monday and completed the first phase in about five hours, which included surface prep (diamond grinding), crack repair, base coat application, and decorative flake broadcast. They allowed the floor to cure overnight, then came back Tuesday to scrape and clean the excess flake before applying the topcoat. They provided clear post-install instructions, no foot traffic for 24 hours and no vehicles for 72 hours, as well as after care information. From start to finish, communication was excellent. The team was friendly, professional, and responsive to questions. Overall, they made the entire experience easy and left me feeling confident that we made a good investment.
