While the quality of the products is excellent, what has kept me coming back to them is their fantastic customer service. They come when they say the will, and everything they installed has been absolutely perfect. I have used several contractors over past few years whose work has ranged from awful to acceptable and it is so refreshing to work with a company where everything is just done right. Windows and doors are big investments and I am glad that I went with these guys for my purchases.

The paint on the out of the door and the inside matched and everything was seamless. The cost seemed very fair for the quality that we needed in an exterior door. Now, the company is not the fastest so if you are looking to do a quick kick on your project you might find someone faster. Basically the cost of a better deal is dealing with their time schedule of when they can get to you. Since they provide quality at a reasonable price, call early and get started with a meeting and education of your options. We had Keven; he's nice, not pushy and but wants to fully understand what you're looking to do. Happy customers, like us will be repeat customers.

They asked me if I wanted to have them fix the door instead of replace it. No other contractor I had come to give me a bid told me it could be fixed. I was expecting to pay $6000 for a new door. Vladimir gave me a quote to fix it for thousands less. It is fixed now and is as good as new! I will be recommending them to everyone I know! Thank you!!!

There was no phone call, no text message, no email, and no attempt to let me know they wouldn't be arriving. I waited for the appointment, and after it became clear no one was coming, I attempted to resolve the situation. Because there was no communication and the work was never performed, I ultimately disputed the deposit with my credit card company. I understand that schedules change and unexpected problems happen. What I cannot understand is a complete lack of communication. A simple phone call would have gone a long way. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. UPDATE: I hired this company after they came to my home, evaluated the project, provided a quote, and accepted my deposit. We scheduled the installation for Saturday and it was to take approximately 4 hours to complete. The technician never arrived. What was most frustrating wasn't just the missed appointment--it was the complete lack of communication throughout the day. I contacted the company multiple times Saturday by both phone and text, asking for an ETA. I was initially told by phone the technician would arrive around 10:00 a.m., but 10:00 came and went with no technician and no update. By early afternoon, after waiting for hours, I requested my deposit back because it was clear no one was coming. Later that afternoon, I reposted the job on Thumbtack to find someone else. Ironically, this same company responded expressing interest in bidding the project again. I replied that they had already been hired once and failed to show up. That message also went unanswered. It wasn't until after I posted reviews that I finally received an apology. I was told the technician had been given the wrong phone number and had unsuccessfully tried to call and text me. I can't verify what happened on their end, but I can say that I never received any calls or text messages from them that day, despite repeatedly reaching out myself. More importantly, I had contacted the company at least three times during the day asking when the technician would arrive. If they truly believed the technician had been unable to reach me, that would have been the perfect opportunity to tell me. Instead, no one mentioned any difficulty contacting me until after I had posted my reviews later that evening. I understand that honest mistakes happen. A wrong phone number is a mistake. What turned this into a one-star experience was the lack of proactive communication. If the company had contacted me promptly, explained the situation, and rescheduled, this review would likely be very different. Instead, I spent an entire day waiting, repeatedly asking for updates, and only received an explanation after leaving public reviews. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

We have used Bordner now several times for work at our home, including siding and roofing projects…read more We have had excellent success with their crews and they have been willing to work with us on structuring projects and payments to our needs. I'm writing this review a number of years AFTER the work has been completed, and we are still very satisfied. In both major projects that we've done, the workmanship that Bordner did relative to what was replaced is far superior. Very highly recommend working with Bordner. As their ad says, they probably aren't the cheapest, but in an industry full of shoddy work and bait and switch schemes, Bordner stands out as a quality outfit.

We originally hired Bordner Home Improvement to fix a leak coming into our main floor ceiling…read morespecifically because of their stellar online reviews and thinking they were a quality local company (they were actually sold to a private equity company in 2024 and are no longer locally owned). Tyler came out and looked over our issue, he told us that after replacing the head flashing above the window behind the stucco there "would be no more leak, 100% or we'll come back out and fix it" and not to worry since it's backed by a 1-year guarantee just in case the leak didn't show up until further into the rainy season. Given their online reviews we completely trusted his word and were expecting the same great experience so many others have had. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we were told or expecting. Poor Workmanship & Unauthorized Charges: They ripped out the stucco and installed new flashing, but the workmanship was poor (see photos). When we immediately emailed them with photos and concerns, they dismissed us and ran an unauthorized charge on our card for the balance. It took persistent messaging before they admitted the work was subpar and agreed to fix it. The Leak Wasn't Fixed: Even after the cosmetic "fix" (which still left us to paint the new stucco ourselves), the window leaked the very next time it rained. Misdiagnosis & Upselling: After contacting them multiple times about the continued leaking, they agreed to send a couple guys out to do a "water test" with a garden hose. Less than 15 minutes after arriving, they had quickly determined the issue was actually at the bottom of the window--not the top area they had just charged us $2,395 to repair. Their new solution was to suggest we buy completely new windows. It seems incredibly shady that they didn't perform a simple hose test before ripping out stucco and charging $2,395 for a completely unnecessary repair. While they may have done great work for some others, I would look elsewhere unless you want to spend time and money only to end up worse off than before you hired them.
