The initial shot was a little discomforting, but after that it went smooth. I was very happy with their work and how I was treated. My only suggestion is they should allow you to fill out the initial paperwork via your phone or tablet. Filling out the paperwork by hand got old very quick.

They gave me an appointment right away (a few other offices I called nearby were not as accommodating). Dr. Kevin re-did the filling on the very back tooth and closed the food trap between the teeth, which resolved the issue and now I don't get food stuck there anymore! He and the dental assistant (I'm sorry, I forgot her name but she was great), were very friendly and did a great job!! Dr. Kevin was very thorough and took his time to make sure he filed the filling down until I felt comfortable with the bite. Dr Matthew Baird performed my root canal which ultimately developed an abscess…read more Please be cautious when going to this practice and seeing this endodontist. Dr Matthew Baird performed a root canal on tooth number 4 which developed an abscess within weeks of the procedure. The gum above my tooth was bulging noticeably and painful to the touch. When I followed up with him regarding my concerns about the abscess, he refused to acknowledge that there was even an infection. I requested a CT and he refused and said that he would be the one reading the CT and he was certain that there was no infection. When I pressed him, he gave me a prescription for Amoxil and said a few bacteria may have gotten in through my cracked tooth. The following day I made an urgent appointment with another endodontist who recognized the infection immediately and confirmed that not only was there an abscess but it was a very large abscess that had the risk of rupturing and developing into a sinus tract. The 2nd endodontist was able to guess that my root canal was performed by Dr Baird. Apparently, Dr Baird is not only known for having frequent complications but also known for denying that his procedures have caused a complication. His lack of honesty and humility is my concern. We all make mistakes. Sadly, I had even helped him and still received this type of treatment. After he performed my root canal, he asked me to show him exercises that I had learned from my occupational therapy to help prevent loss of function in his hands and arm which I happily did. The 2nd endodontist that evaluated me prescribed antibiotics and referred me to an oral surgeon to be seen urgently for drainage of the abscess and removal of my tooth. I am now going to require a bone graft and a dental implant. Please also be aware of the office billing practices. I was overcharged by $320.00 and have yet to receive my reimbursement check. The office stated that they have sent me a check and someone cashed it. However , neither I nor my husband cashed any check from their office and my back account reflects that it was not deposited. From what I was told by the 2nd endodontist, endodontists that have procedural complications resulting in loss of a tooth will sometimes refund your initial payment. I am not asking for a refund. I am only requesting a reimbursement on the over payment they took from me.

I just adore Dr. Russell. I was a patient of John Hamrick who brought in Dr Russell a few years…read moreago. Dr. Hamrick retired a bit later and Dr Russell took over. He kept much of the same staff I've come to know and be comfortable with. I am the daughter of a now-retired dentist, so my expectations are high. Dr. Russell is attentive yet gentle. Gone are the days of "old-school" dentists that just "get-in-there." These days, dentists are a bit more gentle and less aggressive. Add to that the light touch of Dr. Russell, and it's fairly pleasant experience, for going to the dentist. Their equipment is up-to-date as are their techniques. I get a bit stressed when I visit any kind of doctor (white-coat syndrome) but the staff is accommodating to my needs to calm myself down. (headphones, tactile comforts, etc.). It's always scary to change your dentist, but I'm very happy with Dr Russell and love that fact that he's younger than I am and will therefor be my dentist for the next few decades.

They were able to see me within three days of me calling them for my most recent appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Keating and this office.
