I have been seeing Dr. Macdonald for over 25 years! He took care of me and made my smile beautiful for the first time in my life way back then. I was born with a congenital dental defect where my adult teeth didn't come in. I grew up poor and we didn't go to the dentist so to add to it I had a lot of cavities. I was never taught to floss and I got picked on as a kid growing up...that really affects you. As an adult I went to see Dr Mac and he worked miracles on my teeth! So now I get compliments everywhere I go and I take very good care of my teeth because I know how important it is not only for oral health but overall general health also. I would highly recommend Dr. Mac and his practice for anyone looking for a new dentist. They are time and cost efficient and more importantly, you can trust them!! I suffer from severe complex PTSD and I have a HUGE fear of dentists from prior experiences and dentistry shaming even though i brush regularly. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with health conditions that directly damages dental health which explained a lot to me about the continual oral health issues. I had the best expiration EVER with TCD! Never in my life have I been treated so kind with genuine concern, respect and understanding from the ENTIRE staff! The Dentist was gentle, understanding and extremely supportive and explained everything they thought would be best for me. New to the area and in dire need of a filling replaced, Dr. Macdonald offered to fix the filling without doing the whole $500 initial exam and paperwork. I simply walked in, the filling was restored, paid a modest fee and left. Years passed and, once again, I found myself in an emergency situation to have a tooth pulled. My regular dentist estimated $4,000. I'm 65 and the one tooth cannot be seen in a smile. I called Keith and, again, he examined the one tooth Xray (not all my teeth) and advised it be pulled. He said I could fill the gap anytime afterwards. Again, a modest fee ($110) and I was out the door. My only complaint is he's so far from where I reside in Greensboro. Now that his sons are on board, perhaps he'd consider expanding his business beyond Archdale. read more

Dr Dan McDonald and his assistant, Danielle are amazing! They are both very welcoming (like everyone else in the office), and they go out of their way to make their patients feel comfortable. After many years of searching for the right dentist, I finally found him. Dr. Dan went above and beyond my expectations, and spent a lot of time working with me and talking to me to ensure that we came up with the perfect treatment plan. I have never been more confident in my smile and I get compliments all the time on my teeth. Dr. MacDonald is a superb dentist. When two other dentist told me to have my molar pulled because it was not worth saving I went to Dr. MacDonald and he saved my tooth and put a crown on it. He has also done other procedures for me and they came out perfectly, all pain free. I so appreciate his knowledge and skill. I will never go to another dentist as long as he is in practice. I live an hour away and think nothing of the commute. Dentist with his skill level are rare and I feel very fortunate to have him. Dr. Tesha Whaley is an amazing dentist! I have a serious case of TMJ as well as a facial nerve condition, both of which have contributed to me being almost terrified of dental work. Dr. Whaley is so kind, and does everything possible to make sure that dental work is pain free, even for a problematic patient ilke myself. Her staff is also wonderful. We drive around 40 minutes to get to her, but it is worth every mile! She has also helped me tremendously in managing my bite issues, due to her extensive training in helping TMJ/TMD patients. read more

Dr. Dan MacDonald is a fantastic dentist. He is a perfectionist, which is exactly what I want in a dental provider. The crowns he made for me are the most beautiful teeth I have ever had. Great staff, very friendly. Doctors are top notch and are down to earth people. I've had experience with "Dr. Mac" and "Dr. Dan" both of whom are very competent, skillful, and up to date on current procedures and techniques. I would not go anyplace else for my dental needs. Absolutely the best around! Long, long relationship with Dr. Keith MacDonald. I left and went to another dentist ONE (1) time because the new dentist was (in network). It was the worst mistake and the other dentist made a mess of my front teeth! I went back to Dr. MacDonald in a panic and he fixed them and they looked better than they ever did.
