While they may excel with smaller homes, it quickly became apparent that they were overwhelmed by the scope of my property. The timeline was extended due to personal reasons, resulting in an additional day added with last minute notice. The quality of work was inconsistent throughout the house. Corners were left as it appeared in some areas unfinished or barley touched, there were noticeable gaps and overspray, and paint ended up on the hardwood floors, stair railings and other areas. I am still getting paint spots up. Moving furniture led to scratched flooring, which was never addressed. Despite a clear conversation about rehanging a large framed picture properly, it was returned crooked. A curtain rod holder was broken, and the drapes were left on the floor. No compensation or discount was offered. The attention to detail simply wasn't there, and it showed in both the execution and the way the space was left after the job was done. I'm disappointed with the outcome and would advise future clients to consider the size and complexity of their project before hiring.

It was a big job with a lot of moving parts, and choosing the Perez brothers turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. I originally chose them because their quote was fair, but what really sold me was Santos himself. He was honest, straightforward, and gave me confidence that his team could handle everything--from carpentry and electrical to plumbing--without me having to juggle multiple contractors, even for the custom sauna. I knew I was dealing with someone I could trust during our first meeting. Santos noticed that my under-cabinet kitchen lights weren't working and showed me how to fix them with a $30 part from Amazon and about 20 minutes of work. Another contractor had quoted me $1,800 to replace the entire system. That one conversation told me a lot about his character. Another thing I appreciated was that Santos, his brothers, and their crew are the ones who actually do the work. They aren't just selling the job and handing it off to subcontractors.
