Communication and project management were inconsistent throughout the job, which required far more homeowner oversight and repeated follow-up than we expected just to keep work moving. Several workmanship and finish-quality issues arose during the project, including items that remained unresolved near the end. A walkthrough was conducted, the full balance ($50,835) was paid, and the county completed the final inspection and issued the Certificate of Occupancy. Despite this, remaining finish items were not completed and follow-up stopped. Closeout communication also became unnecessarily confrontational despite our consistent good-faith efforts to resolve issues and bring the project to a proper conclusion. He was honest, straightforward, and gave me confidence that his team could handle everything--from carpentry and electrical to plumbing--without me having to juggle multiple contractors, even for the custom sauna. I knew I was dealing with someone I could trust during our first meeting. Santos noticed that my under-cabinet kitchen lights weren't working and showed me how to fix them with a $30 part from Amazon and about 20 minutes of work.
