It's where family members have been going and it helped that their office was right down the road from my children school. So they could walk into an appointment after school and I could meet them there from work. It is a bit of the pain that they're only open Monday through Thursday but usually that's not a problem. It's more just that I'm a little forgetful and forget to call them sometimes when they're open. As my children have gotten older I want them to be more mindful to communicate with me about what happened when I wasn't there yet. I appreciate that my children are older and can tell me the gist of it themselves but I want the staff to be more communicative with me directly. I don't want the risk of like in the "telephone" game ha ha. There was an instance when I had a crown done and there was some miscommunication, I felt, about the projected cost versus the actual cost and when I brought it up to them they were understanding and they worked with me.

He's also my husband's dentist. 3 years ago during a routine cleaning, one of the hygienists noted something unusual. She asked Dr Fisher to take a look. It turned out that he had a cancerous lesion on one of his tonsils. He'd never noticed it & didn't have pain. Without the watchful eye of the hygienist and Dr Fisher's quick referral to an ENT Specialist, no one knows how much it could have spread. With surgery & radiation my husband has now been certified Cancer Free for 3 years. We're very grateful.

That being said, their hours of service are not working-person friendly. If you need a crown or some other major work, you will need to take time off from work because they don't have the correct staffing to perform these services after 2PM. I took time off from work for a 2:30 appointment for a permanent crown seating and received a call to reschedule for some excuse (I don't even remember what) but it pushed the appointment out well over a week. As a result my employer is frustrated, I am frustrated, and the person on the other end of the phone is completely oblivious to the fact that not everyone has unlimited time off. I am currently seeking a more user-friendly dentist.

I had an initial teeth cleaning at this dental office and I signed a bunch of papers before they…read moredid it...the teeth cleaning was just average. After the teeth cleaning, I saw that they carry a home use whitening kit and I purchased it for approximately $100. After 2 uses it burnt my gums and I called the office to see if I could bring it back. In my experience most companies can do a return to their distributor of the product and get credit for it and therefore being able to give the customer credit for it. In talking to Dr. Sipes office i found out that all the papers I signed hold them pretty much not liable for anything ....so I would suggest not going to Agape Dental because if he doesn't do a good job or makes a mistake with any procedure that you're going through he will not stand behind it. I asked him if they could just at least give me that much credit on the next teeth cleaning and they refused Dr. Sipes wouldn't even get on the phone to talk to me about it. so I consider this very unprofessional and an office to be aware of.....he may use biological friendly products, but he has the paperwork so tight I guess that you couldn't claim anything if he didn't do a good job. There are other biological dentist in the area I would go to them and avoid Agape Dental!
