However, when it comes to dental care, we had an awful experience. I was lied to at multiple visits that my daughter had 1, maybe 2 cavities.. at a total of 3 visits stretched out over 8 months. They stated that the cavities were not that bad and could be dealt with at her next visit (in 6 months).. They let my kid call the shots and did not get her teeth fixed. I decided another 6 months after 8 months of trying to get answers and to get my kids mouth healthy again was not ok. I finally decided I felt like this place was not for us. I Took my daughter to my dentist in meridian to find out my daughter has EIGHT cavities! Something kuna kids would have been WELL AWARE of, since they very recently did X-rays there. One of the teeth was infected and had to be an extraction!! My daughter had to be put under anesthesia because there was so much work to be done. All because kuna kids kept my daughters actual dental health from me. If I had known it was that bad I would have had to push the dentist at kuna kids to do their job, because the second my kid complained, the dentist would stop. Of course a 5 year old would complain, still do your job! We are now so far in debt with her dental work because kuna kids kept pushing off her care and lying to me about how many cavities she had. I came to find out this is very common with kids dentist offices. If you're reading this debating on where to take your kids for dental work, go to an all ages dental office, not a kids dentist. Don't make the same mistake I did!

We just fell in love with Kim the dental assistant. She was calm, and loving toward my 3 year old son who is stubborn and and strong willed. She made us feel at home due to struggling with a big move and a new environment. I could not say enough about Dr. Coletti, this is definitely his joy, and passion. He was so wonderful towards my son. My son was nervous being in a new dental office. Dr. C has a great catchy song (which my son is still singing) and it was so helpful to calm him down. Dr. C's background is extensive, and impressive and makes me feel lucky to call him my child's dentist.

I've had one visit and the people were very friendly. The front desk and getting checked in was a very good experience and she was quite lovely. I felt I got good care although I felt I did need to advocate for myself on a few minor things. I didn't want them polishing my teeth before the hygienist had completed her scaling. It is not a good practice to polish teeth before all the plaque has been removed. They have quite a few staff members that do different things. They have two hygienist and then they have assistance that do the polishing. You can request having one person do the scaling and the polishing, but they can only accommodate that on certain days due to the lack of staffing?? So for my next visit, I will have one person do it all. They were quite accommodating. I think I'm scheduled with a different dentist for my next visit. I think I will see her and see how I like her. She is newer in her career, but I feel I might like to give her a shot. The jury is still out for me. I'll update in 6 months.

The cavity was below the gumline, so I was really worried about how he was going to get to the cavity. He was able to painlessly push my gum down enough to get to the cavity and do the filling. It didn't hurt at all, and my gum wasn't even sore afterward! I have a lot of sensory issues, but I felt totally relaxed and just watched some of my favorite shows on the overhead screen with the headphones they provided and a nice warm blanket on my legs. Paytyn was so wonderful about making sure I was comfortable the whole time! It was a great experience (although I hope I don't need any more fillings done any time soon). It was hands down the worst dental experience I've had. I told her I require more numbing juice than most and she wouldn't give me any more after I was saying I was in pain. I alerted the assistant that I was in pain and the dentist kept going. The temporary crown fell off two days after it was put on and the permanent doesn't fit my night guard that I wear. Ever since this procedure that side of my mouth has been painful to chew on. Makes me wonder if I actually needed the procedure or if they needed the money, it wasnt cheap. I have not been to the dentist since and I am normally a habitual visitor for cleanings. I will be going somewhere else.
