The staff was friendly and helpful and like normal post offices, they have plenty of boxes, cards, mailing supplies you can purchase here.

At the end of the interaction when I was paying for my shipment, she reached around the glass and clicked the green smiley face for me, indicating that I had had a pleasant experience. This couldn't be further from the truth. Between the demeaning tone and the rude and sarcastic responses, I left feeling very upset. She gave off an arrogant, untouchable attitude. The item I was shipping was breakable so I asked if I could put fragile on the box. She proceeds to tell me "it's not gonna matter, what matters is how it's packaged" (completely fair!!) I told her i understood but asked if we could still put fragile on it for my mental. We do this same dance 3 times before she settles on giving me a marker so I can write fragile on it. The computer asks me if there is anything fragile, I hit yes. She let out a sigh and pulls out a stamp to stamp what I assume says "fragile" on the box. "Ugh this is so hard" she says as she stamps onto the box. I apologized about not being familiar with the process and her response was "well honey that's not a good excuse because everyone orders packages." To which I responded "i actually don't" and she proceeded to tell me that I was a "fibber" and ask if I've ever gotten a piece of mail in my life. And believe it or not, sending and receiving a package are two very different experiences. Someone speaking to people like this should not be dealing with the public.

Last Christmas, I wanted to mail a gift to a friend in Maryland -- a signed John Waters poster we…read morereceived when we saw his show at The Rio in December. It wasn't a large poster, only about 12 inches long, and I rolled it up in a small mailing tube and took it to my local post office to mail. To my surprise, I could not mail the poster to the US. The Canada Post employee told me that since a certain person was elected president, there are now tariffs on everything larger than a letter mailed from Canada to the US, and I would need to download an app on my phone and enter all my information to declare the item and pay the tariff. Of course I wasn't thrilled on paying tariffs on the poster, but that wasn't the issue -- the issue was having to download a fucking APP and entering all my information on my PHONE. It wouldn't have been as bad if I could enter my information on my computer, but nope, that was not an option -- I had to download an APP and enter all this information on a small phone with my fat fingers and bad eyesight. HELL NO. So I told my friend that he was not getting his gift in time for Christmas, and that I would mail it from the US when I went to Nashville at the end of February. But trying to find a post office in Nashville was actually not that easy. I assumed there would be a post office somewhere downtown, but the closest one was at least a 45 minute walk away from our hotel, and even though there was supposedly a UPS nearby, I couldn't find it. Thankfully I discovered there was a US post office in East Nashville, close to where we were going, so I was able to mail my gift. Once I got to the post office, mailing the poster was easy. The post office employee was helpful, and there were no issues mailing the poster to Maryland from Nashville. The cost of postage was $7.70, and I didn't have to download a fucking app, use my phone, scan a QR code, or pay any tariffs. Utterly ridiculous that I couldn't easily mail a small package to the US because I was in Canada. [Yelp collections: Nashville, TN 2026]

He was belligerent and prideful but the manager handled him with charm and kindness but also with a stern hand and put him in his place. We thanked her and praised her for her patience. That "Nastyville" bully made a short line into a long waiting line because of his attitude, he lost his keys and griped about the replacement fee and blamed the staff! Whew! Other than that, this post office was ok, slightly funky, but had a greeting card kiosk, sufficient supplies, East Nashville don't play! Hours M-F 8:30-5:00, Sat 9:00-12:00
