Its now new bedford mitsubishi and I went their as they were converting over I found a car I wanted fairly quick and when I spoke with the sales man and sat down after taking the test drive we agreed on a number amount and told him I wouldn't do the deal unless he could do the number and price on my trade in he said ok you can do it only on that number and deal I said yes so he said hed go speak with his boss , basically the old cars sales man game they all do , and when he came back he said ok we can do it I said perfect then told me that in could take the car home right then and come back to fill out the rest of the paper work so when I cam back a few days later he sat me in the back and wanted the money for the down payment ( wich he informed me that that 30 dollers down de they say on the radio is basically a bunch of bs because you will have to pay more for payments and in the long run you'll pay alot more ) I said ok I'll give you my down payment but is Anna see the paper work first and when another guy sat down to have me fill in the paper work I noticed the amount of money we agreed apond was diffrent and when I mentioned it to him he tried acting like I was stupid and started saying oh no no no this is what I ment by tous get it for that much and started making up extra numbers and all kinds of bs so this is a long story but my card would work so they let me take the car for another week and I asked for my old car back because I didnt like how they changed the price on me then tried convincing me that it was the same number just they had to add more money for extra stuff that we never discussed and they would give me back my car so finally when I went in on the end of the week I said give me my title and car back they tried finally saying they'd give it for the actual price I wanted then said " did you drive it for a week to go to work and put over a 100 miles on it " I said yes then they tried turning that in me like they didnt know I'd drive my car to work so I said just give me back my car and I dont want the deal now and finally they gave me my title and old car back . I'm just saying beware because their sneaky and I wish they never did that cause I did love the car and wanted it badly and everything was fine until that point . I'm giving them 1 star because they did treat me good up until then but I dont like the fact that their willing to scam people and they laughed at me when I called them out on their bs. Also when I asked about the fileing fee he told me he cant get rid of it or change it but I herd another guy come in and say hey can you get rid of that fee so theirs less out of pocket and the sales man said yea let's forget about that then . read more

*heads up, this is long. had a really frustrating experience* From the SECOND I walked into this car dealership I should've known better and turned around right then and there. My boyfriend and I must've stood in the lobby directly in front of several employees for at least 15 seconds before someone shouted "Can someone help them?". Finally, Dan Rego offered his assistance. I had already known which car I was interested in, I just wanted to test drive it and go from there. I was hoping he would come along and direct us around since we aren't from the New Bedford area and didn't know where we were going, and maybe even tell me more about the vehicle than the brief description I had read online (crazy to ask for from a car salesman, I suppose), but that didn't happen. I wanted to be informed of my options, and he was very vague, spoke over me a lot, and didn't give me very much useful information. Over 7% interest rates, $1,000 fee if you try to get an auto loan elsewhere. He even tried to get me to pay $40 more a month for 60 months than I should've because he ran my numbers incorrectly. Thankfully I noticed that and called it out. I paid for the car and signed all the paperwork on Friday, but didn't even get to take my car til Wednesday. They said the line at the DMV was too long on Monday, then they decided on Tuesday to suddenly tell me I need entirely new car insurance because I recently moved to RI and had CT insurance. They knew from the get-go that my ID and insurance was still CT... They could have told me this the whole entire week prior that I had been working with them. Plus, if they are willing to serve RI residents, they should definitely be more aware of RI driving laws. I was put in a terrible situation last-minute, and after not having a vehicle for over a month it was really frustrating for it to be dragged out even longer because the employees at this car dealership are incompetent. By the time I finally got my car, it had over 200+ more miles on it than it did the day I signed the paperwork. Thus, it was technically MY car and they drove it without my knowing or permission. The back of the driver's seat had dirt on it, there were crumpled papers on the backseat, a decent amount of dirt and trash on the floor, and a sticker (still haven't been able to get it off) stuck inside the middle console. Finally I had had it and called the dealership to speak my mind. I spoke with a woman named Lynne, the office manager, and after telling her the jist of the story, she proceeded to tell me that it was my own fault that I was inconvenienced because my paperwork was wrong. Mind you, she literally had not been involved with this sale not once up until this point... Ended up on the phone with Jeff Mederios, the Finance Manager. Spoke my mind to him, and he also proceeded to tell me that it was my own fault for there being issues with my paperwork. That there was absolutely nothing more they could've done for me. Completely ignored everything I said about the piss poor customer service I received. When I told him the car was dirty when I picked it up, he offered a free clean. The funniest part of that is that I GET a free clean EVERY YEAR because I purchased a vehicle from them. So he tried offering me something I already get for free. By the end of the phone call, he had just started cutting me off and asking if there was anything else (there actually was...) but clearly he was in a rush to get off the phone with me. Other than that, absolutely NO effort to try and make things right with me. I would absolutely not recommend buying a car from here, I'd actually discourage it. Horrible customer service and it honestly working with these people only added to the stress of buying a car in general. Joes auto mall Kia overall was a good experience. I started by emailing the internet sales manager and we drove the next day to view the car. The internet salesman Jeff did not tell me he wouldn't be there but this was ok. We were greeted by salesman Bob who was friendly and not pushy. He confidently allowed us to test drive w o licenses and let us go on our own. The dealership itself is quite small but the inside was nice and clean. Although they boast "no hassle pricing" we haggled over the trade in price, even leaving and going back after a phone call 5 minutes after we left. The pickup went well, although we were disappointed by a few details: the car was clean but I felt it could've been more detailed. We were given only 1 key and fob, and feel one should've been made for us(at least a key). We also received the car half full of gas. We were not promised a full tank but they knew we drove well over 50 miles to purchase and it would've been a nice touch. They do offer a lifetime engine guarantee which seems to be a good deal. This guy sold us a Volkswagen Jetta with STRUCTURAL DAMAGE. We did not know this until we went to go trade it in to get something else. I do not suggest going here AT ALL. They did not tell us about the structural damage or that there was 3 previous owners. We now owe $15,000.00 on this car, and this car is only worth $2,063.00!!!! Never go here read more

buy your lemon here ..... i did...purchased a bmw x3 from joes auto mall...from day one it was nothing but trouble with the check engine light .. i would return it to be fixed and they would claim there was nothing to be found to fix.. they were just clearing the codes and trying to push it past the 90 day warranty. sure enough the light would come on every week for 3 months. in a 6 months period the bmw went into their shop 21 times. when i purchased the truck they pushed a extended warranty, paid 2500$ for it and it didn't cover anything .. i owned the bmw for 6 months ( 11,000) miles ,spent $3000 out of my own pocket, it was so bad i traded it in for something new.. i understand that buying a used car is a shot in the dark , but joes did not want to work with me at all...the truck would stay at there shop for sometimes more then 7 days at a time...beware ! read more

TROUBLED DEALER!! If you were truly troubled you would have done your own homework to find the date of purchase and my last visit to resolve the issue at hand. After the way I'd been getting spoken to in my last few contacts I have no desire to deal with you directly. You had my car about 14 days, 12 for one visit, in the time frame that I made my first car payment. Impressive!! ! Your only concern is that I put this information out here for the public to see. You thought I had disappeared and the problem went away. If only we were both so lucky. I wish the shake in the car would go away and the alarm would stop going off when I hit the car starter. For now I deal with more vertigo than usual from the shake. Never Again!!!!! You may make some customers very happy. I am glad for them. Me not so happy. I absolutely loved my sports car I traded in because winter was coming and wanted a winter car.
