We discovered this place last year after we waited for a sale on tomatoes at a different nursery only to find they were out of stock on most things we wanted. Joe's had what we were looking for and saved the day. If your looking for vegetables, they have young plants at very reasonable prices. This year we were able to get everything we set out to buy in Mid May. We wanted peppers and tomatoes and they offered a wide variety of both. The planting season is a little earlier this year and we were pleasantly surprised with the growth on the young plants we were able to purchase. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a couple of registers to check out when your ready with your selections. The parking is limited to a few spaces out front right off the main road, but if you get there early, when they first open, it's not too hard to get a spot. We will definitely be back again next year. read more

This is a cute greenhouse with sweet employees who are happy to help. We were on the hunt for some zucchini since another greenhouse was sold out. We were told that Joe's doesn't have them started yet and that it's too early to plant them. We have a little greenhouse and wanted to get started on a few things. We'll have to look elsewhere for zucchini. We'll have to stop by again in a month or two to see what else they have though. read more

Joe's is such a cute little nursery! I wouldn't come here for everything because it's on the smaller side, but I always enjoy it for the basics. The greenhouses are really cute and the staff is friendly. Great prices too! They do cram a lot into small spaces so the aisles are pretty small. It's not a huge deal and it allows them to carry more options, but I imagine it could get congested at times....Still won't stop me from coming! read more

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely wonderful experience and amazing staff. My main conversation with the woman working was about how much she likes her job and plants in general. I love this greenhouse. Plants are incredibly affordable and after 2 weeks nothing has died on me. Yet. I tend to have a black thumb. This was my first year wanting to take the steps to become more self sufficient and seeing plants around town at bigger nurseries and big box stores was discouraging. I know it all eventually saves money but seeing the slightly inflated prices and adding up the upfront cost was a bit intimidating. Joes is incredibly cheap, friendly employees and well cared for plants. I now am attempting to grow several different types of flowers, watermelon, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, corn, peas, squash, pumpkins, zucchini, onions, cucumber and assorted herbs. For less than $40. I wish they were open year round! They stay open until all the plants are sold out. read more

Joe's Greenhouse is an excellent establishment. The prices and service cannot be beat. You won't find better customer service from any business than you will find here. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, they will take time to answer your questions and give you great advice. It's not as big as other nurseries but still has good variety of all your planting needs. If you haven't been you should check it out, you will be pleasantly surprised. read more
